Not a good college because of the faculty and teachers.
Placements: Not even a single Company has ever visited the Campus for the stream of multimedia. This college has never been able to place a single student in any company so far. Even after so much of scope in this line most of the students had never got placed in any company. A few students got jobs at their own will without the support of college at the starting salary of 10,000-15,000 per month. There is a placement cell but most of the times it offers a job at call centers with pay of 5000 per month or there are IT companies' jobs which require students of Computer Applications. So it has never been useful for us. No student ever got an internship from college and neither college has ever helped any student in getting any internship anywhere. All the students have to find the internship on their own. Internship has been useful for some students as they got an offer from the same company to work in after their graduation.
Infrastructure: There are several problems that could be found regarding infrastructure. Labs are well built but None of them have wi-fi facility. Computers have been equipped with LAN cable but internet does not work sometimes. The biggest problem found is that the computers are full of viruse. Even though CPUs are equipped with the best hardware configurations for multimedia there are no antivirus installed on any systems due to which computers work slow and this does not help us in our work.
Faculty: Teachers have never been helpful for us. In-fact there is only 1 teacher for multimedia stream in our college. Since 1 teacher cannot teach all the classes most the classes have been provided with the teaches of IT and Computer Applications stream who have no knowledge of this line at all. I have seen teachers watching YouTube to know about the subject they have got to teach us. Most of the times teachers are not able to solve or answer the questions we have asked during practical classes and even during theory classes we are just provided with photostated notes and are told to read them.
Other: College has hosted some competitions regarding Graphics designing some times. College even students for the same to other colleges.

    B. M. course in D. A. V. college Amritsar review.
Placements: College does not offers any placements in the stream related companies. No companies related to multimedia come in our college. Students themselves can find internships in 8th sem. Seniors are placed in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh and other metro cities.
Infrastructure: Computers are connected to internet via LAN cables but there is no Wi-Fi available for students. Infact college campus is no mobile zone. Labs have good condition computers and working air conditioners too. Quality of food at canteen and mess is average. Menu is limited with very less seating capacity.
Faculty: Teachers for multimedia are not available. Department H. O. D. employs computer Science teachers for multimedia. These teachers do not know how to operate such multimedia software and students are forced to teach themselves from youtube tutorials. Topics mentioned in syllabus are missed because of this.

In this college students must follow rules.
Placements: Placements of this college were good. From the last 4-5 years, students were getting placed with not-so-good companies, and the internships facilities were not good. Companies like GMHP and Dell visit our campus to hire students.
Infrastructure: This college had everything like laboratories, rooms, and parking. They were not well maintained. Rooms were dirty and the desk was broken. Laboratorie were good but students had to crossroads to go to another side. Everything was not in one place, and this was a disadvantage. The canteen was small that students didn't enjoy.
Faculty: Teachers were available and not educated for that subject. Previous year I got a teacher who doesn't know anything about multimedia. The rest teachers were good and cooperative
Other: In this college, events and fests were not held. The crowd was good and the surroundings were also good.
