Teachers connect very well with the students and help students in whatever manner they can.

Placements: PGDMM Placements should be improved. Actually, there are no campus placements. It's just a degree which you get after one year and which can fetch you a job for 3-4 LPA. There is no placement drive for PGDMM batch and no companies visit the college.

Review of DAV College Chandigarh (DAVCHD).

Placements: The placement process is not very good as students don't show interest. So companies do not hire a single student. Companies like eClerx, Contingent and many other companies visit our college for placement drives. They provide you with a chance to participate in job fest of different colleges which are under PU.

It is a very good college because of location, crowd, facilities, teachers, etc.

Placements: Many students were placed on good levels in many ways like actors, singers, sportsman, etc. Overall, the placements are good. Many students are also placed by NCC and other fields. Students are given a chance to face interview even in 1st year also to make them ready when they have to face it.

Our college has a good infrastructure and a healthy environment.

Placements: Out of 10 students, about 5 students got placed from our class. Among them, the highest salary package offered to a student was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. The average salary package offered by companies is 3 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got internships in MNCs at IT Park of Chandigarh.

Dissatisfied because of the management of the college.

Placements: None of the students were placed. There aren't any recruiting companies for my course. None of the students got internship from my course. My course wasn't really for that purpose that could help us in getting placements or the job, it was just a start.

It is the best college in all aspects like sports and education.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Students who score 60% in academics get a placement at our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month private company. The average salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000-18,000 per month. It is a good college in all activities, like sports and education.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty, library, and management of the college.

Placements: Our college does not provide any kind of placements. In our course, I have studied physics, chemistry, and maths. In mathematics, we learnt geometry, calculus, trigonometry, differential equations, etc., which was really boring. The physics and chemistry were interesting.

It is a very good college with very low fees.

Placements: A common job fair is conducted in the college campus in which companies like Amazon, Bullseye, Finxera, Atulaya Health Care, Tech Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Quick Relation, Mahindra Holiday and Resorts, NIIT, etc., visit here for placements. The average salary package offered is around 2-3 LPA for all the final year students and postgraduate diploma students. Students can also apply for jobs outside the campus on their own basis.

It was Superb I really love it and I will suggest to other too

Placements: In my class there were 25 students only and lowest was 12k and highest was 30k. Teleperformance was the company. 60% of students get placement. It is well known college if you passed in first division you definable get a job you do not need to worry about that.

DAV College Chandigarh has good infrastructure with an impressive crowd.

Placements: Most of the students got placed from commerce and science course. Many of the banks and the companies regularly visited for the placement sessions. Even the placements were well-organised to attract students to take participation in it.

I am satisfied because of teaching quality and fabulous infrastructure.

Placements: I passed the Bachelors of Science in the year 2017. In this course, I learnt about physics, chemistry and mathematics in detail with some history and culture of Punjab and English. About 80% of the students got placed. Pharma, mechanical and electrical companies visited the college to recruit students from our course.

Great environment, greater learnings.

Placements: There were no placements for B.Sc. B.A. B.Com. Batch. However, there were some placements for Master of Economics (ME) and the highest package offered was somewhere between 3 lacs to 3.6 lacs. Because DAV is a non-technical college, so there's less to no focus on placements but only on education and degree.

The college is perfect as it makes the students industry-ready.

Placements: There are no placements in bachelor of the science department. Students after completion of his bachelors have to go either for masters or any programme to find a job. There is only a drawback that a science student does not have internship programmes, where one can get experience.

DAV is a good college for studies but not for placements.

Placements: DAV provides good placements, and some good companies visit for placements, but the number is very less. Companies such as EY, Vivo, Godrej, etc., visit our campus for recruitment. Not even 10% of students prefer placements. The college needs a good placement committee for the same.

A college of your choice.

Placements: The college do have its own placement cell and the placements majorly happen for MBA only, however job fair are also organised from time to time, various jobs that are offered have salary around 10k-15k per month, it is more of a graduation college.

Overall, it's a great learning platform and at the same time very fun loving and chill place.

Placements: B.Sc is a non-technical degree and hence no placements as such were provided for the batch. However, there were other streams for example Masters in Business Economics (MBE) in which placements were provided. I've heard from my friends that maximum salary offered was Rs 30,000/- per month.

This college provides you with great exposure to develop yourself.

Placements: Placements in DAVV-10 Chandigarh are not that satisfactory. Firstly, they don't notify us before they schedule interviews. Students get to know it the day before the scheduled date. Companies that come are local companies which do not offer good packages.

DAVCHD provides endless opportunities.

Placements: Our college holds good placement records as we can confirm it from the alumni meetings. Even one of the founders of Flipkart is our college student. Apart from this, companies visit the campus and hire students on merit basis in the final year itself. None of the students is guaranteed a complete placement as it completely depends on your academic records. So if you want to get placed, then start working from the beginning of the course.

The best college in Chandigarh.

Placements: I've seen the placement drives conducted last year. There is a placement cell in the college and it is working quite efficiently. Recently, they have launched an app and online site for the final year students to inform them about placements and companies visiting the campus. Last year, many private companies, especially Redbull prepared some creative games to release the stress of students hoping for their internships.

DAV College Chandigarh is a top college in Chandigarh for higher education.

Placements: The college provides a good number of placements, but not as required. The salary packages offered are low. The college needs to work on its placements. The placements should be based on the course, and not related to call centres or data entry. I guess there would be new changes introduced by the principal in the coming years.
