Tour to DAV (A College of Heritage)
Placements: There are no placements offered after the graduation course from the college. You also cannot get internships, so if you want to secure a job, you need to develop skills alongside your graduation. Be prepared for a hectic life after graduation, as the college will not assist you in anything.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and reminds you of its historic significance. The college has very large classrooms but with minimal facilities—just iron chairs, fans, and boards. The college doesn't have hostel facilities, so if you are planning to relocate, make sure to find a PG first.
Faculty: The teachers are very good; they help and teach every student. If there is only one student in the class, they will still teach you. The faculty is well-educated and knowledgeable. The course is relevant, but it will not make you industry-ready; you need to put in some extra effort for that.
Other: I chose a BA in English Language because I want to pursue a PhD, so I decided to go with this option. I suggest that if you are looking for a job after your BA, you should start developing some skills and look for a job now.

About Dav college Kanpur .
Placements: If I talk about my seniors who were doing Ph.D. and other courses they got placements with a very good package. The highest package, I think, 40 Lacs sometimes and average is about 20 Lacs, maybe. But all over, it is good if you study and score good then you will get better placements.
Infrastructure: Actually I don't know about hostels but if I talk about facilities, there are very good facilities like library, faculty etc. Classrooms are also good but they need some management. Sports activities are also there and you can join NCC also if you are interested.
Faculty: The members of the faculty are very humble and helpful. They help you in every possible way. The way teachers tell you each and everything is so good. Professors interact with students in a very well mannered way so you can ask anything without any problem.
Other: Actually I don't think there is a need to change the education method, the teachers interact with students in such a way that you can easily connect with them and with the topics also. The environment is very good but there is no cultural fest and farewells etc. So it was sometimes too boring but all over it is good for studies. There are social groups in the college like ABVP etc. You can take help from them if you have any problem.

M.A. in Education - Batch of 2023

Old college but budget friendly .
Placements: There is no placement cell. If you want any job or work, you have to go somewhere. Even though there is no career counselling class, you can only complete your degree here. And if you want job, there is no option for any job. Marking is also very bad so you have to study hard.
Infrastructure: Old-style classes: no Wi-Fi, no mess, no canteen. They are still using blackboard and chalk. Fans and light are also very bad. Seats are broken. But they are developing it slowly. There is no parking in college so you have to park your car at least 500 meters away.
Faculty: The faculty is good. They are always there for your help. The curriculum, of course, is easy and understandable. The exam pattern is bilingual so you can choose between languages. The sitting arrangements are bad during exams; they disturb you during exam time for sign-in and verification.
Other: Teachers are good and experienced but other staff is not helpful.

Good college for Bachelors infrastructure is decent.
Placements: 40% of students were placed in my course. I don't know about the highest package but the average is 4L. 70% students get internship through my college from my course 10% because it is Bachelors. Top recruiting companies are landmark Wipro.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good because it is an average government college but compared to fees it is decent. I don't know about the hostels faculty is good and helpful and college also have its own football and cricket ground. Medical facilities are available too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified and experienced. Teaching quality is good teachers are very knowledgeable. The semester exams are pretty hard and competitive. This course does not make the student fully ready but its an start for your career in corporate .
Other: I chose this course because I have interest in business and accounting. They can add more subjects compulsory for every student. They provide scholarship, .

It is an excellent college in all aspects.
Placements: Placements were good in this college. Students who score 60% were eligible for internships. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Students were very satisfied with the placements provided.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms were clean. There were 4 fans in one classroom. There was no canteen in this college. Medical facilities were available. Sports and games facilities were also conducted. The national cadet core campus was available for those students who were interested to join defense in the future, and NCC was very helpful.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was better. They also well qualified with B.Ed and Ph.D. degrees. Semester exams were moderate, and the pass percentage was 33.3%. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.
Other: It is one of the best colleges in Kanpur. The campus was not crowded.

B.Sc. in Zoology - Batch of 2026
3.6
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The faculty is average. You need to focus well on college life. The college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Bachelor in Zoology students can get into the medical and public health sectors, as per my college, everything is based on my academics and yes, I get an internship, which is also around 15 thousand to 25 thousand based on the company. I could also become a teacher.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good; it was built in the British era when they ruled India so the infrastructure is based on that time only but some upgrades have been done. We have a great library, but sometimes books are not available and hostels are also available.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good, so if you want to learn something, you can take classes regularly. Teachers are really helpful; they will also guide you with career-based questions and help you find the right path for you. Exams are taken in a very well-mannered way.
Other: I was a biology student, so for graduation I have chosen this course and beside this, I have a keen interest in zoology, so that's why.
