Ventures in Academics Life.
Placements: No placement companies are coming to my college for the placement of students. Even though I'm pursuing a graduation B.Sc. (non-medical) from that college, and this year 2024 is my passing year, no companies will come there for our placements. In this field, my college review is negative.
Infrastructure: At the time of admission to college (year 2021), the college building was so old and dirty that even the labs were not in good condition. But at the end of 2023, the real innovation of the college started, and now the whole college has become so beautiful, and the labs have also become the best. New materials, gadgets, and chemicals are placed in the labs.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is highly qualified, professional, and has a lot of knowledge and experience. Yes, my course curriculum is relevant, and the difficulty of the exams is about 50 to 60 percent, and the pass percentage is about 60 to 70 percent.
Other: All courses have their own course-related associations, like my Course, B.Sc. Non-Medical associations related to our course are like the Physics Association, Chemistry Association, etc. These associations conducted quizzes, essays, drawings, etc. Competitions time to time. Annual functions are held every year.

Overall, the college is good in studies for the science stream, and the staff is quite knowledgeable
Placements: We were around 50 students in a class. There was no package offered by the college. Most of the students in my class graduated to get the degree certificate and pursue further studies or work as teachers or lecturers, which are the main roles that most students look for.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are average size but the library is small and there are no Wi-Fi facilities for the students. I used to be the day scholar and the college canteen was not proper for the students, the ground was far from play and there were no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. If you want to pursue a master's in any stream, this is a good course. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study properly and the pass percentage was 60% in every semester and in the overall degree as well.
Other: I was a science student and wanted to pursue my further studies in mathematics, which is why I chose this course. There should be more labs for mathematics and computer coding.

Overall, it is an average college.
Placements: I was admitted in 2019 with a B.Sc. (non-medical), which is an undergrad degree of 3 years. Around 50–55 students were there in one class and our course has 6 sections. The placement in my course wasn't much—almost 0%. There are no internships in my course.
Infrastructure: There were pure as well as applied classes in the course. The math, Physics and chemistry labs were there and the class schedule included lab days for practical parts. I was a day scholar; there was only one canteen in the college and not many sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified enough to teach the subjects and take regular class as well as active participation of all the students and teachers were there, which included some doubt sessions and there were 6 semester exams but it was all from the syllabus taught in class. 60% is the minimum passing percentage .
Other: I have a science background (non medical) so I pursued this degree and Dayanand College has good staff in the science field.

Good faculty members and environment.
Placements: There are no companies available for campus placement. There is a placement cell room, but the incharge does not provide any information or upcoming placements. And if such a company does visit, students are not given advance notice to prepare.
Infrastructure: College has a variety of excellent labs. Boys and girls have separate libraries and reading rooms. The classrooms are well-lit and well-ventilated. There is Wi-Fi facility but the speed is not good enough to satisfy. The library has books on almost every subject, which is a good
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They resolve student doubts on time, and the syllabus is completed. The exams are related to the material studied in curriculum and includes case study too. The exam is designed to test knowledge, and those who do not study thoroughly have t oreappear.

It is a good college at an affordable fee.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. There are very less chances of getting internships. So if students want to do the UG program with placements so avoid it. If students want a decent college for study, it will be a better choice.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. There are nearly 6,000 students in this college, and the campus size is very small. Some classrooms are not well furnished. The library is good, and it is one of the best places. There is a separate reading room for students which is very good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very good, and it is updated from the session 2021-22. Faculty members are not good, except for some teachers. The semester exams are decent.
Other: The campus life is not good. But this college is very old, and goodwill is also there. The course curriculum is very good, and the fee structure is low.

English honors in D. N. College.
Placements: I took admission in the course of B.A. English with honors at Dayanand College during COVID times. My course is really helpful for students who want to pursue a career in the field of literature and want to become assistant professors or associate professors in English.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of my course is so good; there are really good teachers and other staff who provide us with such facilities. The college hostel has good infrastructure and good maintenance; there are proper beds, bathrooms and rooms.
Faculty: The whole faculty of my course is genuinely good, and I can proudly say that I have some of the best teachers who provide us with great knowledge, facts and proper methods of teaching. The exam for my course is quite good as per the syllabus and was always conducted properly.
Other: The college provides us with a platform for the youth festival every year and helps us grow physically, mentally and creatively. There are a good number of events, fests and competitions.
