Digital Marketing Certificate Course - Batch of 2024
4.4
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Digital Marketing Certification Course from DCAC, Delhi University.
Placements: Digital marketing certification course offered an internship to all students; it was the students' choice whether or not to take it. There were online and offline placement drives where students got work-from-home and office-based roles, all paid internships with stipends ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month plus work-based incentives. They offered to teach digital marketing after the completion of the course with a paying salary and also offered a permanent job after the internship tenure.
Infrastructure: The classes were held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in two batches: one from 10 AM to 1 PM and the other from 2 PM to 5 PM on the same day. The classes were fully on the laptop, and notebooks were required only for notes, but students used to make notes on the laptop itself. The teacher used to teach on the laptop and was very supportive and friendly when it came to any doubts.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our teacher, Mayank Sir, had his own digital marketing company which he used to run. The teacher had practical knowledge and experience, not only book knowledge, which made the teaching quality better. The course had everything in it that one required to be a digital marketer, but the 6-month course was not enough; an internship was needed to learn practically, which the college provided. Semester exams were pretty average; they were not very difficult, and students needed to score at least 40% to qualify in exams.
Other: The course is recognized by a government university (Delhi University) and also provided by Apart India Pvt Ltd, which provided a National Skills and Development Certificate useful all over the world. It seemed better than any other private institute. While doing the course, you were a part of the college; everything going on in the college, you were a part of, and all the events and fests were accessible without any restrictions.

Classmates were helpful.
Placements: Placements are not offered to students who are studying vocational studies as they only learn language from the college. None of the companies visits our campus. They only give homework, and there were no extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were not clean. Regular students knew how to treat the students who are just coming three days a week for their language classes. Teachers were a bit polite towards the students. They don't provide any extra facilities for students who are doing vocational studies.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful as it's Delhi university teachers will be qualified, but faculty members were not good. The teaching was not good, and they don't know how to teach students from the beginning. Students don't know how to respect others.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college and its faculty members.
Placements: I heard that the placements of our senior batch were good as our course has a good scope for placements and the pass percentage is only 20-30% here. Since it's a part-time course, roles offered here are not much diverse. However, our teachers and professor help us a lot.
Infrastructure: The campus is not that huge, but the infrastructure is good here. There is a mix of modern and old styles. Some buildings are more than 30 years old whereas some are only 4-5 years old. Overall, the infrastructure is nice. There are all basic facilities including modern facilities like Wi-Fi, lab, library, and sports ground. Our campus is lush green.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. The course curriculum is also satisfactory. Teachers in our department are very good. They are of helping nature and treat all the students equally. They use two-way communication during a class lecture so that we could involve much more during the class and behave like an active audience.
Other: The campus crowd is awesome.
