The placement opportunities are few, and most of the students don't get placed, Even if got placed, would be in low-scale firms with low salaries and no benefits.

It is a good college. As it is a part of Delhi University, you must visit the college once.
Placements: Placement of the college are great; almost 95% of students were placed every year. As per the NIRF Placement report 2022, a total of 33 UG students were placed during the placement drive. Satyawati College's median package stood at INR 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiters of Satyawati College placements include BYJU’s, Urban Company, S&P Global, EY, Decathlon, Genpact, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, of course, is also good. Experienced teachers are assigned. Satyawati College, part of Delhi University, provides good facilities. The classrooms are spacious and well-furnished, and the library is well-stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources related to history.
Faculty: Satyawati College offers a variety of courses, including B.Com (H), B.Com (P), B.A. (Prog.), Economics (H), English (H), Hindi (H), History (H), Political Science (H), Sanskrit (H), Urdu (H), and Mathematics (H). The college also offers various courses and electives, such as Discipline Specific Electives (DSEs), Discipline Specific Courses (DSCs), Generic Electives (GEs), Ability Enhancement Courses (AECs), Skill Enhancement Courses (SECs), and Value Addition Courses (VACs).

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: I'm in my first year, so I don't know much about placements from this college. However, students can take advantage of internship opportunities, which are sometimes paid and sometimes unpaid. In either case, we gain valuable knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide any hostel facility, so we have to rent a flat or PG near the college. The infrastructure of my college is not good at all, but the library is very nice and well maintained. The college canteen food is not good and is not good for our health either.
Faculty: I am a student in the B.A. English (Hons.) program at this college. The faculty is great, and the teachers are very helpful. The students are not afraid to ask questions, and the teaching quality is wonderful. The course will help you increase your vocabulary and improve your communication skills.

B.A. (History, English) - Batch of 2024

All in all, this is a decent college.
Placements: Hello, everyone. I'm Akansha, a graduate from Satyawati College (morning shift), and I want to share information about the placement percentages, which are average in this college. To secure a good placement, it's advisable to opt for demanded courses like B.Com Honours or B.Com Economics Honours. Unfortunately, the chances are less for those enrolled in any B.A. Programme course. The highest package recorded was 12 lakhs per annum, the average was 7 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was 5 lakhs per annum. About 29 percent of students secured internships, and roles such as assistant manager, fresher, manager, and executive were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, falling neither on the good nor bad side. In my B.A. Programme, some teachers were consistent in taking classes, while others were not. The facilities like the lab and library are reliable, and Wi-Fi is also available. However, I found the food in the canteen to be subpar.
Faculty: The teaching quality at Satyawati is highly impressive. Many teachers conduct regular classes, ensuring they use your time efficiently and address all your doubts. However, having good teaching does not necessarily make a student job-ready. Semester exams are relatively easy; you just need to cover the entire syllabus during the classes to succeed.
Other: B.A. Programme was never my desired course; I initially wanted to pursue B.Com Honours or Economics Honours. However, during the course, I found it to be relatively easy, regardless of your 12th-grade background. Various events are organized during festivals like Diwali, Dussehra, Navratri, etc. The campus crowd, according to my perspective, is not very appealing.

I am satisfied with the college faculty. Canteen is good, and sports grounds are well-maintained.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities during the graduation period in History (Hons ) course.. However, in post-graduation, there are some opportunities with professors in tier 1 research fields. One can explore more about history while receiving a decent stipend.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Classrooms have good benches, and all fans and lights are working properly. There is a variety of food in the canteen, including thali, snacks, ice cream, cold drinks, etc. Canteen area is spacious with plenty of seating. It also has an air-conditioner, which is very good, especially in summer. One can sit there during free time. Medical facilities are also available. Various sports are offered, including cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, and football. Grounds are well-maintained with grass.
Faculty: Faculty members and staff members are very friendly.. They not only help with academics but also assist with personal problems related to accommodation and more. Teachers are well-qualified, and their teaching methods are simple and effective. They stick to the curriculum, but if anyone wants to learn more, they help with that as well. Semester exams are quite easy. One has to answer four questions out of eight. By analyzing past year's papers, it becomes much easier to pass the exam with good marks, as many questions are repeated.
Other: My batch was from 2021. It was quite an interesting batch with a good crowd. Best thing about my course, History Hons is that it develops historical consciousness which helps a lot in understanding the history and culture of India and the world. One can comprehend how history has changed over time and how it is impacting the world today. Connectivity is very good since Satyawati is part of the North Campus now, the college crowd is great. Regular fests, seminars, cultural programs, and freshers' events happen every year, which is the best part of college life.

Satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in our course is about 30 to 35%. The highest package was 7 Lacs per annum, and the average package was 3.5 Lacs, while the lowest package was 70,000. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Concentrix, DE Shaw, Deloitte, E&Y, Fidelity, IndiGo Airlines, Muthoot Fincorp, TCS, and VLCC. The percentage of students who got internships is 10%. Top roles offered in the course are manager and HR.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our campus, but the labs are fully furnished and the equipment is properly available. Classrooms are non-AC, but the fans are available. The library is fully air-conditioned, with proper facilities of books and furniture. Hostels are not provided by the college. The canteen food is pretty good, and sports and games are also available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also very good. Yes, our course makes the students industry-ready because of the well-educated professors. The semester exams are not very difficult, but they are moderate, and the passing percentage is about 92%.
Other: I chose this course because my interest is in the financial sector, and the one thing I like in this course is that it is a very demanding course. The one thing that needs to improve in this course is that the college should take students on industrial visits so that students get practical knowledge.
