Review of Delhi Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DIHMCT).

Placements: Around 100% of placements are guaranteed however the quality of the placements depends on students' marks and skills such as speaking, thinking, spontaneity, etc. Some of the top roles offered are management trainee programs of various 5-star and 7-star hotels such as Taj, Oberois, etc.

It is the best college to pursue hotel management.

Placements: As this industry is booming and never-ending, there are plenty of job opportunities after completing the course. The top roles offered in our course are management trainee and operational trainee.

It has improved infrastructure. It has decent placements and good faculty members.

Placements: The placement percentage in our college is more than 70%, but due to COVID-19, placements have taken a great disappointment. The training and placement cell try to bring more companies. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Oberoi, IHG, Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements. A top role offered is a management trainee, and after 2 years, one will directly become the assistant manager.

It is a great institute. I recommend this college for all who want a career in the hotel industry.

Placements: I was enrolled for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration in DIHM, and I am from the 2017-2020 batch. About 60% of the students obtained jobs from college placements, but due to COVID, many lost their jobs. Even after college, it uses to give updates regarding all jobs in a group so that the college could have 100% placements, which is the best part. The maximum salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Radisson, Marri...

DIHM Honest opinion from an alumni.

Placements: 90% were placed. The highest offer was around 3.5 lakhs. Companies like ITC, Park Hotels, Radisson, and IHG arrived. All the students in Park, Taj hotels, ITC and more 5 star hotels. There were other aviation companies like Celebi too. We also had food companies like Nandos hiring for management trainee. Top roles offered were Management Trainee.

Faculty are average, and the placements are great as it is a government college.

Placements: Only a few students could make it to the management trainee programme. It is basically up to you only. Operational training programs could be easily cracked. The top hotel brands come to the college for placements, like Taj, ITC, Oberoi's etc.

Our college provides good placements, and is developing its infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the hotel brands come to offer placements in our college. The most important aspect is whether they will make it or not. Some crack it by networking and some by hard work, so there is never a guarantee of 100% placement. Almost 98-99% of the students get their training in various chains. Taj, ITC, The Oberois, JW Marriott, Hyatt, IHG all the brands offer recruitment.

Satisfied with my experiences in this college. The course is more practical than theoretical.

Placements: More than 70% are placed because others are going for further studies. The highest package is 3 Lacs per annum and the lowest would be 1.5 Lacs per annum. ITC, TAJ, OBEROI, JAYPEE GROUPS, HAYAT, LEMON TREE, JW MARRIOTT, OLIVE AND BAR are some of the top recruiters. Roles like guest service executive or guest service attendant are offered in this course.

The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent enough. Major brands like Oberoi, Taj Group, and IHG visit the institute to offer placements. The placement cell is efficient enough to get almost every student placed. Personality development sessions are also conducted prior to the interviews. The average package offered was 2 lacs per annum.

Good college with satisfactory placement.

Placements: Placements are good in this college. Placement companies include taj, oberoi, ihg, itc, and many resorts and even retail companies. But one has to work on himself to get a better job. Its government college so companies give preference to this college as compared to other college.

Good placements, bad faculty, nice surroundings, gives exposure of industry.

Placements: Placements are very good here. Almost every big hotel chain come here for recruitment. HOTEL CHAINS, RETAIL CHAINS, CRUISE COME HERE. From the data of past thee years you can say that they have provided 100% placements. International chains don't come.

The faculty are very nice and friendly.

Placements: The placement as guaranteed by the college is 100%. All the top hotel brands like the Oberois, taj, ITC, Leela etc., come for campus placement every year. Only food production department has a bit low scope as compared to other departments. I was placed at ITC Maurya for my internship. Rest all about training and placement cell is good in this college.

It is good to make you a gentleman, but not good for a socialising, fun and freedom loving person.

Placements: We have undergone a great placement. All the students got placed in good & reputed organisations. Everyone got a fair chance to explore their talent & present themselves in front of the placement teams. I also got a job from my placement, but I decided not to join that organisation and find my way on my own.

All what I have seen in DIHM is a five star feel.

Placements: You can get your placements as you have completed your 3 years. Big hotel brands like Taj group, Oberoi group, ITC, Hyatt, Leela, Accor etc. come to the campus for interviewing the students. So you'll be provided with the opportunity, but it's in your hand to grab it or leave it.

Really good placements in 2018.

Placements: The placements are really very good for my batch as well as for the previous batch. The college takes a lot of initiative and calls a lot of hotels, retail chains, catering establishments and a lot more companies. The placement is 100% for every year since I have joined this college.

If you have the passion in Hotel industry then this college is for you.

Placements: I got placed in an International Retail brand, for the role of Retail Management Trainee, and i have been working there. In the beginning, I got a position of RMT, and then slowly I have earned a post of Assistant Store Manager, and even I have handled an individual store for two months. The placement was around 90-95% with an average salary of Rs.15000 per month.

DIHM is a good institute to be enrolled with.

Placements: The placement is very good, and you will see that hotel administration is not just about hotels. It is about the whole hospitality sector which is very vast. You can definitely expect jobs for everyone after the college. A very low percentage of people were not placed in college.
