Scholar & Achiever Scholarship for All Under Graduate (UG) & Post Graduate (PG) Programs (except for BTech, BPharm, BSc Nursing, UG / PG Medical / Dental / Super Specialty):

MAHE Manipal offers Scholar and Achiever scholarship for the various UG and PG programs at Manipal, Bangalore Campus.

Scholarship Guidelines:
The minimum intake of the program MUST be 10 and minimum no. of Admissions MUST be 5

- Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
1) UG program: 80% (as per selection criteria) in 10+2 from a recognized Board
2) PG program: 70% aggregate in UG from a recognized University
3) For the UG and PG Programs with Manipal Entrance Test (MET): MET Rank will be used for the allotment of Scholarship, provided the candidate also satisfies the above-mentioned minimum eligibility criteria for Scholarship.
4) For the UG and PG Programs without Manipal Entrance Test (MET): Manipal Merit Rank list will be prepared based on aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (as per the selection criteria) and will be used for the allotment of Scholarship, provided the candidate also satisfies the above-mentioned minimum eligibility criteria for Scholarship.
5) Scholar Category: This Scholarships constitutes 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each branch/ program and is applicable for the entire program duration, starting 1st year of the program o Minimum admitted for the program MUST be 5
6) Achiever Category: The minimum intake of the program MUST be 10 and minimum no. of Admissions MUST be 5 (in the year of admission). Achiever Scholarship constitutes 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each branch/program is applicable at the beginning of 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year and 5th year based on the annual academic performance in the immediate previous year i.e. 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year, depending on the Program duration.

Scholarship for Konkani Speaking Students

MAHE Manipal awards 10 % fee waiver of course fee as scholarship, to candidates admitted to under graduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) programs ONLY, whose mother tongue is Konkani.

Scholarship Guidelines:

• Applicable for Students admitted under GENERAL category only
• The candidate is required go through the admission process specified for each program and there are NO
preferential / reserved seats for Konkani speaking students
Konkani Speaking Merit Scholarship
• The fee waiver is 10 % of the course fee
o Candidates are required to pay the full first year course fee + Rs. 10,000 refundable Caution Deposit at the time of Reporting
o The candidate will have to take care of other expenses such as hostel accommodation, food, books etc.

• Candidates must submit the following documents
o Letter from the passing out School Principal / Institute Director certifying that mother tongue is Konkani
o Filled up MAHE Scholarship Form 2022 available in the MAHE Manipal Admissions Office

• The excess amount paid (after applying the scholarship) shall be refunded after the commencement of 2nd
semester, only on submission of duly filled Scholarship Application Form 2022 to the Director (Student Affairs) office MAHE.
• The award of Fee Waiver for the subsequent years will be same as given at the time of admission in the first year

o Fee Waiver will be extended in the subsequent year only to those students who have cleared all subjects in the University Examinations of previous year before the due date for payment of annual course fee
o Students, who are promoted to next year with failures (F)/Incomplete (I)/Detention (DT) grades, will NOT be eligible for fee waiver for that academic year
