Q:   How does the placement cell for LL.B. at Department of Law assist students in getting placed?

A:
{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Placement Cell Assistance for LL.B. Students

Unfortunately, according to the information provided, there is no placement facility specifically for the LL.B. course at the Department of Law. However, the college does have a placement cell that assists students in securing placements, but it seems to cater mainly to the B.Tech and MBA departments.

Here's what students and alumni have shared about the placement cell:

* Availability: The college has a placement cell that helps students get placements.
* Performance-based selection: The placement cell selects students based on their academic performance and interviews.

It appears that the placement cell focuses more on supporting students in obtaining employment, especially for those pursuing B.Tech and MBA courses. As there is currently no dedicated placement facility for LL.B., students may need to rely on their individual efforts or seek external opportunities to secure employment after graduation.

Please note that while the placement cell might not directly support LL.B. students, its presence suggests that the college recognizes the importance of helping students find employment after completing their studies. It would be beneficial for the college to consider establishing a similar system for LL.B. students in the future.

There are plenty of facilities.
Placements: In the initial years we have to do internship on our own but in the last year's college provide us with the internship. Placement cell is very good and totally based upon the performance of the students academically and on the interview. Our college provides placements at great companies and firms to students as and when required. The highest package offered is around 80-85 Lacs per annum and the average package of 25-35 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very great and the prices are fairly reasonable and affordable. There are various sports facilities available and competitions are being organized from time to time for the students. They also provides with a free Wi-Fi connection for every student. The food provided is also excellent and very hygienic.
Faculty: I choose this course because I am passionate about the legal profession. In addition, the course is five years long, with dual degrees awarded upon completion. The faculty teaching here are highly qualified and well knowledge persons. Some are seasoned professors who can provide the most up to date information. Exams are not difficult if you follow the syllabus accordingly.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest to serve my life in the judicial field. There are many students in the entire department of law.

Absolutely satisfied with all the facilities but the college just needs to work on placements.
Placements: There is no placement facility for LL.B. Course in the university. Though there are placements for B. Tech and MBA departments. Most of the students are able to secure jobs in reputed companies like WIPRO, Infosys, etc. The college should focus on providing placements for LL.B. course too.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with benches, blackboard, lecture stand, writing material, fans and good lighting. Hostels provide good quality food and have single, double and triple rooms with bed, fan, lights and a balcony as well. There is a lot of greenery in the hostel as well as the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative. They possess good knowledge and their teaching techniques are satisfying. Curriculum is absolutely relevant and covers all the subjects as well as topics which can be very helpful for finding a suitable job. Semester exams are easy as teachers make us go through whole syllabus in the class along with assignments and sessional trainings. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the course to make a career in litigation field. The best thing about the course is that after the course no one will be able to violate your right and also the teachers and the crowd of the campus are satisfactory. Placement opportunities should be added to the course. Extra curricular activities like inter departmental competitions, University fest every year, Sports complex, swimming pool facility, self defense classes, etc. all are present for students to participate. The students can also also participate in moot court competitions and legal air camps.

Staff is good but there is no placement.
Placements: 120 students are there in LLB course. At the end of our course, around 90 students remain. There is no placement in the campus. In the last semester, students go for training under a district lawyer in Rohtak. Moot courts were also conducted in the department in 2020.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and the college has well-built classrooms. There is a department library also with ACs and there is a computer lab. Students have access to manupatra too. Hostels of the university are nice. In hostel, there is Wi-Fi facility, food is also good and other necessary facilities are there for students.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but teachers don't take classes regularly, specially in the 3rd year. Most of the subjects are given to scholars. Curriculum is relevant and very useful for Judiciary and APO examination and NET examination. Exam is of 100 marks, 20 for assignments and 80 are for theory. In theory, students need to get minimum 32 marks and in total, they need to get 40 marks out of 100.
