Good placements, learnings and life.
Placements: The course consists of 160 students, out of whom 70% get placed easily. The highest earning package is INR 7 LPA, and the lowest is INR 4 LPA. The top role in the media industry is that of a news anchor or radio jockey. Everyone from this course gets an internship easily with the wide range of skills this course has provided us with. Top recruiting companies are not specific, such as Deccan Herald.
Infrastructure: The university is provided with internet all over the campus, and we also have access to the media lab. The food available on campus is nutritious and affordable, with a wide variety of options ranging from fruits to full-course thalis. I haven't stayed in the hostel personally, but my friends say that it provides the bare minimum at an affordable rate.
Faculty: The teaching quality is adequate and up to the mark; the course is very extensive and makes us learn about a lot of things in the media field. Exams are not difficult if one studies for them; the pass percentage is almost 100. The semesters are divided into six, and there is a good amount of break amongst the mid-semester and end-semester exams.
Other: This course has helped me learn about photography, content writing, Photoshop, podcasting, etc. The college holds a lot of cultural events to be a part of, and it has been very enjoyable being in college.

Good infrastructure and campus life with great exposure.
Placements: The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Accenture, Schbang Bangalore, Thomas Reuters, Tophire, etc. and the placements were mainly for roles such as Digital Marketing, HR, PR, etc. The packages were decent however, the numbers of selected candidates were limited.
Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful and has a very good infrastructure with media lab, VR lab, etc. that help students throughout the curriculum. The classrooms have projectors and all the other necessary equipment. The media department has a separate library with free Wi-Fi access apart from main library which is also called as "Knowledge Center" and is very helpful for studying and doing assignments. The hostels are strict with curfews and there is no mess facility available. The good thing is that there is free Wi-Fi, RO purified water, laundry area and other study facilities available. There are various health centers for both physical and mental issues available. There are multiple sports tournaments that take place, however, it is difficult to secure a place in the University team.
Faculty: The majority of the teachers are genuinely understanding and very knowledgeable. There isn't a set approach or organization for the majority of the curriculum or disciplines. While the course content provided is appropriate for the curriculum, and there are also numerous additional trainings and lectures that assist in preparing the students for the workplace. The tests for the semester are of a fair difficulty. While English and Psychology subjects have written tests at the middle and at the end of each semester, media subjects are often submission-based. Four evaluations make up the semester: CIA 1 (20), CIA 2 (50), CIA 3 (20), and Finish semester (100). The minimum pass percentage is 40% in all the CIAs combined and 40% in end semester.
Other: The exposure you get from the course is one of its best features. Also, you come across a variety of fascinating people. If you are someone who is very vocal and opinionated, this course is for you as there are several academic and cultural inter-course and intra-course events. The campus is constantly busy with competitions, festivals, and performances.

B.A. CEP is a very dynamic course.
Placements: This course is a very dynamic course as it is a triple major degree. It is a bachelor of arts in communication and media, English, and Psychology. Almost 80% of students get placed after this course. In the third year, it is mandatory to do an internship and submit a research paper. Top roles offered in this course include media personalities, journalists, content writers, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Christ University is amazing. It is something every student dreams of. The campus is a very well-maintained environment full of lush greenery and sufficient places to hang out and chill with friends. Inside the campus, there are 2 Indian Coffee Houses and various other food shops. Christ Hostel is a bit strict but has all facilities like Wi-Fi, good food, etc. But most of the students prefer staying outside campus.
Faculty: Faculty members for our course are very efficient. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. scholars who have several years of experience. Since our course is a dynamic course, written exams are less. Most of the subjects are submission-based and are practical in nature as the subjects include photography, strategic storytelling, etc.
Other: Christ University is a treasure house of various cultures and diversities. You can find people from various countries of the world.

It is a great college, but it should get better.
Placements: Placements in our college this time are better, but more media-centred companies should visit our college for placements. This time better companies visited our college. The process of placements could be better with involving students as well in the placement cell. Maybe students could be given the opportunity to come and invite more companies as it'll give them an exposure to. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5 to 5-6 LPA. Students should build a good resume in order to get good placements. Students should build an impressive resume as the college provides them with multiple opportunities.
Infrastructure: Accommodation within the college is limited, so students prefer staying outside in PGs. Within the college, they provide accommodation but no mess facilities. Most of the students prefer living outside because of time constraints and freedom. Students can stay in college till 9 pm to finish their work.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. However, there should be better planning of the course curriculum and more coherence within the department. English and Psychology are interesting subjects with great teachers. Assignments are also conducted well. Teachers are good.
Other: I have chosen this course because I liked the combination and feel all the three subjects are the complement of one another. You're sure to have a lot of fun on campus. There is plenty to do here, and it provides good exposure.

Great infrastructure, average faculty and facilities.
Placements: Campus placements were started for our course just recently, so most of the visiting companies are start ups from Bangalore. Big players like Zomato and Amazon had also come. Most of the roles were for content writers with an average of 2 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled but all the entertainment websites are blocked. This leads to us not being able to access information related to our course which is very annoying at times. Almost all the classrooms have a projector, screen and speakers. There are lots of seminar halls and panel rooms for small events or screenings. Media lab is quite small and the facilities are not up to date. Campus hostel has a capacity of less than 500, including both boys and girls. Majority of the students stay at outside hostels and pgs. For a student population of more than 15k, the playing ground is extremely strong ( 400m track, barely). The canteen is good, with 15 different outlets offering diverse food choices. Every block has a health clinic and there is one in house doctor.
Faculty: Like most other colleges, Christ too is focused on theoretical and textbook knowledge with very less practical experience. As a result, we find it very hard to cope up when we go for internships. Except for a handful of teachers, none of them are qualified or interesting enough. It is just traditional PPT and lectures throughout. The curriculum seemed interesting but I don't feel I have known anything more information than I was three years ago.
Other: I chose this because it was very promising but it was not up to my expectations.

Holistic experience merging academics, co-curricular activities and building intra-personal skills.
Placements: About 60% of students from my batch including all courses, were placed in various companies. The highest package in campus was offered by D. E Shaw, Hyderabad of 16.5 Lacs per annum. The roles included Financial Analyst and work in the field of Research and Operations. On account of internships being included in the curriculum, all students got internships over the summer in various companies and organisations respective to the course.
Infrastructure: Two computer labs, Media lab, a well-equipped two-storied library and sufficient number of large classrooms were present in campus. The infrastructure is modern, and canteen food includes ample variety. The campus also houses a stationary shop for the convenience of students.
Faculty: The teachers in all departments are approachable and friendly. They are ever-ready to help the students and devote their extra time to help students with their dissertation project. The curriculum is relevant to some extent but according to me, it needs to be more rigorous and industry-focused. For a multi-disciplinary course like MEP, the curriculum must be more flexible for students to develop their knowledge in their preferred major.
Other: I chose this course for its multidisciplinary nature. It helped me merge my interests and learn the subjects I wished to pursue. The best thing about my course is that it equips the students with technical knowledge from the media field, policy analysis from the Political Science field and subjects like Econometrics and Research Methodology to enhance the research skills of students. Improvement of the course would be to increase flexibility in the subjects, addition of more electives in order to cater to students' specific career goals. The campus crowd is brilliantly diverse, and the location of the campus involves the perks of the city along with natural beauty. The college hosts several fests including its flagship event Querencia, Raabta, Aarambh, Amroha and so on. The college also provides academic and co-curricular scholarships to worthy students to reward their hard work.
