Review of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University.

Placements: I am in the 1st year of the course. Still, 2 companies approached here. The highest salary package offered was of 3.7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.1 LPA. Farm to families is the company that visited here. Almost maximum students got free internships in local companies in the rural area. Roles offered to us are field manager, field officer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the campus having 25 GB limit which can be increased. Library is full of books related to particular course. Classrooms are spacious and big having fans and projectors inside. Particular buildings are there for particular courses and have a very impressive infrastructure. I haven't opted hostel but there are two canteens serving food and junk food at a very pocket-friendly price. For the medical facility, there is a hospital inside which provides first aid. Sports are promoted and cricket and football are famous here.

Faculty: Teachers here are always ready for help. They hold master's and doctorates with them. Their way of teaching is quite simple and basic. The curriculum is not that relevant more exposure is required for the industries which I think is not provided here. Semester exams are easy to pass, and the pass percentage is 33% of the total.

Other: I was graduated from the B.Sc. agriculture and this was the most appropriate course relating to my background and my lively hood. I got to know about farming from the basic to advance level. More industry visits practical work should be there and after admission, students should be treated the same as they were treated at the time of admission. Events and fest take place regularly 2 major fests occur here in which famous artists perform here. Scholarships are provided to us on the basis of ex-alumni of the college. The campus crowd is moderate and connectivity is easy. Surroundings are very calm and extracurricular activities are also promoted.
