Best Choice of My Life for Career.
Placements: Around 70 to 80 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is around 23 LPA, the average is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students will get internships. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and others.
Infrastructure: My department provides a fully Wi-Fi campus, fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs, and the labs contain the latest PCs. The quality of food is good in the hostel, and the overall infrastructure of the hostel is good. There are the best medical facilities, and they also provide a sports ground and indoor games.
Faculty: Faculty has experience of at least more than 2 years. All faculty are well-trained, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching methods are the best. They give the best of themselves. There are 2 internal and 1 external exams. The passing percentage is 80 to 90.
Other: The event was the best.

Why I chose Devang Patel Institute!
Placements: In 2024, 100% of students were placed in the computer branch. Package: the lowest is 3.5 LPA, the average is 6.5 LPA, and the maximum is 32 LPA. Many development companies like TCS, Birla, Microsoft, etc. are visiting. Almost every student gets an internship because their first internship is in their second year and their second internship is in their fourth year.
Infrastructure: There are well-structured classrooms and labs, as well as better internet facilities. There is also a central library, which is very huge in size and collection of books. On campus, there are around 15 to 17 canteens and around 2 to 3 hostels, and the food quality is also good. Around college there are many private hostels.
Faculty: In my batch, all faculty members were very helpful in everything, not only in study but in life as well. All faculty members have Ph.D.s or other degrees. There are two midterms in college and one external exam in one, which is not very difficult but some are difficult. Passing marks for mid is 12 and external is 35.
Other: In this college, there are many courses but I selected this one because I am interested in this field. In the year 2024, Devang Patel Institute will improve very well. In this improvement, there are many things included, like the best network, some labs improved in the best PC, courses improvement and teaching techniques improved.

Review of Charotar University of Science and Technology.
Placements: As we heard from our faculties, about 90% of the students among them are successfully placed in good companies in nearby cities. The average package is around 4 to 5 LPA, and many students also get internship opportunities. SDE, backend, frontend, cloud, UX, and many other roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Yes, our college has good Wi-Fi connectivity in the labs and classrooms as well. No, there are no hostel facilities available for boys; hostel facilities on campus are only for girls. Yes, there is good-quality food in the canteen. Sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but staff are not very knowledgeable in some cases. Yes, the course curriculum is good enough to make students industry-ready. The semester exam is not so tough but it's also not easy. We have tablet exams; there are no pen-and-paper exams.

Very good experience with the college with good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: During my course, almost 98% of the students were placed through the TNP cell, and they were supportive during the preparations for the placements. They conducted many seminars with experts to make us aware of the resources through which we can prepare for placements and what to prepare as well. They even hire a private academy institute from Delhi to prepare us for placements. For one week, many lectures were organized by the academy for aptitude and technical subjects. The highest package was around 8 LPA, but almost everyone got an average of 5.5 LPA due to recession; otherwise, it was 4+ LPA. Most of the roles offered were software developers and business analysts.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the campus is pretty comparable with that of any other top-class university in India. Most of the departments have their own personal libraries in their own department buildings, but DEPSTAR does not have them. And one single main library is in the main administration building, which is not fully modern but still usable. Only girls hostels are on campus; all boys hostels are outside of the campus, which are all privatized and girls hostels are managed by the institute. Hostels are really good compared to other universities; they are newly built and affordable as well. The Wi-Fi on campus works most of the time and gives a decent amount of speed for downloads and uploads, but it does not work on WhatsApp. Classrooms are old and not modern, as we see in the movies. Otherwise, there are hi-teach labs like the cyber security lab, AR-VR lab, and MAC lab. All the devices in the practical labs are being replaced slowly with new ones. So overall, the infrastructure and facilities are up to par at DEPSTAR and Charusat University.
Faculty: The faculty at the college were not very experienced but that was an advantage for us. They were young so they could help us in this modern era and they were helpful to us in every aspect; we could relate to them very easily. They were aware of modern technology and trends. There was no such pressure from them on the curriculum. They used to conduct lectures regularly and in our time, the 70% attendance criteria was there but students even with 10% attendance got through exams. There is no load on studies and curriculum like GTU students have. Students can easily score an 8+ CGPA with the preparation of a week or less. Only 5–6 students in every semester get KT. So it is very easy to clear exams in DEPSTAR. Semester-end exams are conducted in table mode, so no pen and paper is used, which is a great initiative taken by the university for environmental friendliness.
Other: I chose this course because, according to my rank, this was the best college I could possibly get and I do not regret choosing this college. I loved my 4 years of this course at this college. There is always rooms or improvement I wish we had 4 years full of college life, because suring first three semesters we had covid in the country so first three semesters were online conducted.

I am partially satisfied because of faculty and placements.
Placements: Only 60% of students will be placed in 2023–2024. The highest package was 8 lacs, which is offered by Ahmedabad Company, and the lowest was 1 lacs. The average package is 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies are mostly Ahmedabad companies or start-up companies. Most cloud computing roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are awesome. Wi-Fi is not so good. The library is also good. In the library, there are always books and the library management is also good. Hostel mess and canteen food are also good. It is the best. Sports facilities are the best. The quality of food is also good.
Faculty: The senior faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable but the new faculty members are not knowledgeable. New faculty members share the YouTube link and tell us to see this video for every topic. This course curriculum does not make students industry-ready, although the course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are medium. If we study 80 percent of the syllabus, we will also get a good CGPA.
Other: I chose computer engineering because I have an interest in computer science. In our university, they are using it more and less practically, so I wish that it would be improved.

The best infrastructure and facilities are placements; extracurricular activities are amazing.
Placements: The highest placement in 2024 is around INR 8 LPA on campus. The average is around INR 4-5 LPA. The lowest is not disclosed, but there are many companies that recruit for INR 2.4 to 3.6 LPA. The number of placed students is good. Almost all get jobs. The top recruiting companies are Rest Data Systems, Meditab, and Zeus Learning. You can get more information on the Instagram page of Charusat. The top roles are software developers, site reliability engineers, and devOps, which is trending now. Few are QAs. All frontend and backend developer roles are offered. The company starts hiring in the 7th semester. Around July, the company offered internships, which started in December or January. After 6 months, the internship converts into a full-time offer and you get a full-time salary in a full-time job. A stipend will be provided for internships.
Infrastructure: facilities, according to the private college. It is a budget-friendly college. So for girls, there is a hostel inside and food is also included in the hostel, along with all other accommodation facilities like Wi-Fi and all. For the boys, we have many private boy hostels outside of the college. The budget is around INR 1 lakh per year (2 semesters). The food is included. The Wi-Fi is there but you have to install private Wi-Fi for better speed. You can get quality food in the hostel but the taste is not up to par if you are the kathiyavadi. Nisarg hostel, Sahjanand hostel, Royal Care hostel, Price hostel, Shreedeep hostel, and many more. You can check the website and Google Maps. Try to book fast because there are limited seats. For the first few semesters, you can live in the hostel, and after, you can shift to Vidyanagar for better food and hostel life with your friends that you made in class and hostels. A medical facility is the best. They are running a private hospital.
Faculty: Much better than GTU. Teachers are good and helpful, and you can learn more on your own so yes, you have to learn how to manage the study and also make sure to grow on your own like some coding and building some projects that you can do side by side.
Other: Events are best. The campus is huge and the sports facility is also good. You can also join a gym, which is available for only INR 100 per month. The best gym experience was there. On extracurriculars, you can explore various clubs and make your social circle bigger.
