On Placements

Q:   How does the placement cell for M.Voc at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus assist students in getting placed?

A:
{Source: M.Voc students & alumni}

Placement Cell Assistance

From the reviews provided, we can summarize how the placement cell assists students in getting placed:

* Limited Placement Support: Unfortunately, the college does not provide direct placements after completing the B.Com program. Although some students were selected for basic computer work in some offices, the majority did not receive placements.

* No Industry Exposure: Despite having a placement cell, the college does not offer industry exposure to its students. This means that students may not gain practical skills and experience, making it challenging to secure jobs upon graduation.

In summary, while the college has a placement cell, its effectiveness in assisting students in getting placed seems limited due to the lack of direct placements and industry exposure.

Note: Since most of the reviews focus on the overall college experience and infrastructure, the placement cell's assistance is not extensively discussed.

Infrastructure and faculty members are great.
Placements: I don't know about placements because I don't need any placements. I joined here to get a degree, and overall, my experience was average. I enjoyed my life there and made lots of friends, but some of them were not helpful.
Infrastructure: Everything here was good and perfect with a healthy, neat and clean environment. Quality of food available in the mess was also good. Facilities and infrastructure were also good with good health and a comfortable environment. I have a great experience.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and great. Quality of studies provided was very knowledgeable, and everything was up to mark. I lead a lot of things. However, there were many negative things, but there is no need to discuss them.
Other: Interest.

Quite satisfied with the college. Placements need improvement.
Placements: Most of the students are unemployed. There are very few opportunities provide by the college. The highest package is 1.6 LPA and the lowest is 7 LPA which is not enough for graduates. The top recruiters are hiring for back-office roles. Internships are done virtually only by some students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The classes are well furnished, with proper furniture and required equipment. The library is not so proper, the medical facility is also not proper. In fact, sometimes first aid treatment is hard to find, the same condition is of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are okay. They are teaching well but due to some mischievous students, they don't take class properly. The quality of teaching is okay. As per the curriculum of the college students do not get ready for the industry but the teachers help a lot.

It is a good campus under DAVV University.
Placements: Our college is good for placements, but it depends on our academic percentage and quality on how to communicate with HR in the interview. Reputed companies don't offer placements here. For B.Com, a salary of only Rs. 10,000 per month is offered, and high salary packages offering companies don't visit here for placements. I suggest that when you complete your UG, do PG in this college.
Infrastructure: There are very good facilities in our hostel. Our campus has Wi-Fi facility, labs, library, etc. Medical, sports and many other activities are available on the campus. Our college has a canteen and also a mess. In the hostel, the quality of the food served is good. Staff members behaviour is good, and there is a good communication between us.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good at helping us, and they teach very well. Their pronunciation was clear, and communication is good. They explain through presentations, etc., and provide many examples to explain the topic. They are very experienced and motivate to talk.
Other: I like the commerce background to do good business and join in a corporate company. So, I chose this course. Our college arranges events and festival. The campus crowd is very good. Scholarships are also provided, and other good activities are conducted here.

The college provides a good and satisfactory learning platform.
Placements: In our batch, there were only a few students who got the job. In our senior batch, around 20-30% of students got placed. In our batch, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest salary offered was Rs. 45,000 per month. Most of the students were offer marketing job.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available on the campus. However, there was a low internet connection for some networks. Some labs were provided where I have never visited because it was non of business of commerce students. There was a library and a sports ground for sure.
Faculty: Faculty members were good, knowledgeable and helpful. All of them were PhD qualified. The teaching quality was good as they have a PhD certificate. Teaching methods used was just like other goddamn teachers.

The college provides a good learning experience.
Placements: They arrange poor placements, but educators and resources are great. Foundation is normal, neither great nor poor, and understudies resemble blend swarm from various states. School life is the best piece of life; everybody likes to appreciate it.
Infrastructure: It is a normal school to ponder for a close-by understudy. First, I resulted in these present circumstance school. I had really awful involvement with lodgings with no Wi-Fi facility and no one to state, which is normal with the government school. The rest of the infrastructure is normal as of other government schools.
Faculty: Staff members like Ganesh sir, Payal mam, Mahesh sir are easy to find. They are just accessible at School of Material Science, DAVV. College selection test is of an extremely simple level.
Other: The facility of games, cultural activities like dance, singing, acting, all are accessible in the school of commerce.
