IMS DAVV Indore Review: Key highlights.
Placements: IMS DAVV Indore has a strong reputation for placements and offers good opportunities for MBA students. Here's an overview:
1. Placement Statistics:
The average salary package is 4-6 LPA, and the highest is 12-21 LPA, depending on the program and recruiter. The placement rate is around 90-95% for most programs, with marketing and finance performing particularly well.
2. Top Recruiters: Major recruiters include Deloitte, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Group, and Wipro. These companies recruit for roles in finance, marketing, IT, and consulting.
3. Affordability: The MBA program's total fees are around 2.15 lacs, making it a cost-effective option. Hostel facilities are available at an additional cost of 25,000 per year.
Infrastructure: IMS DAVV offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in management and allied fields. Key courses include:
1. MBA Specializations:
Financial Administration
Marketing Management
Human Resource Management
E-commerce
Business Analytics
Hospital Administration. Key Features of Courses:
The curriculum includes core subjects like economics, marketing, finance, operations, and strategy, with elective options tailored to industry demands. Emphasis on internships, live projects, and case studies for practical learning. Industry collaborations ensure relevant training and placement assistance. Hostel Facilities at IMS DAVV
IMS DAVV provides basic hostel facilities for both male and female students, though the infrastructure has received mixed reviews:
1. Key Features:
Separate hostels for boys and girls. Nominal feels: £25,000 per year.
2. Student Feedback:
Basic amenities are available, but some students mention the need for modernization and improved facilities. Proximity to campus makes it convenient, though off-campus dining options are often utilized due to limited mess facilities. Overall, IMS DAVV offers a good mix of academic rigor, affordability, and placement success, though infrastructure improvements could enhance the overall experience.
Faculty: IMS DAVV Indore has a faculty team with a blend of academic and industry experience, ensuring students receive practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is designed to cover core management concepts in areas like finance, marketing, human resources, and operations, with elective specializations aligned to industry needs. Practical exposure is emphasized through case studies, live projects, and internships. Exams follow a structured format, focusing on both application and analytical skills. The institute uses modern classrooms equipped with digital aids and provides additional academic support via its library and mentorship programs. However, some students suggest infrastructure and exam facilities could be modernized further.

College is good and has cooperative faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. And the teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is very relevant and sufficient. Exams are of moderate level. Pass percentage is 35% out of 100. Overall, it's good enough for students.

Discontinued( June 2022)- M.A. in Performing Arts - Batch of 2026

Why you should choose this field?
Placements: There is no post in the current arts curriculum. No active placement cell is in the department going on. There are various types of internships we can get but there is no placement after the completion of our studies. Although the infrastructure is good, it is not for beginners. We have to adapt the curriculum ourselves.
Infrastructure: The course is very good as it provides us with vast knowledge of history, geography, psychology and sociology. In the hostel, there are not enough rooms for students for the first year and the food quality is not so good. Students leave the hostel in their first year and prefer to stay in a private hostel or as a paying guest.
Faculty: The faculty is good, as they are very well qualified and educated, as per the information given to us in the orientation of our batch. The curriculum is very well designed for students who are good in the humanities field. Exams occur regularly, as their are two mid-semester exams, one assignment and one end-semester exam.

Overall, college is decent to take admission in, with good placement rates and good average package.
Placements: Around 80% of placements rate is offered in Institute of Engineering and Technology DAVV Indore. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many top IT companies like Barclays gave job offers to the DAVV students.
Infrastructure: College hostel facilities are decent. But the beds in the hostels are limited. Admission in college hostels is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are rooms available in college hostels with three beds for first-year students and two students in one room for second, third, and fourth-year students. Wi-Fi facility is also available in hostels. Food quality in the hostel mess is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members of DAVV are good and supportive, with experience of up to 20-25 years or more. Course curriculum is totally relevant for today's students who are going to become engineers in the future. Students become ready for their future jobs by studying the syllabus over the 4 years. Semester exams and mid-semester exams have moderate toughness which an engineering student should face.
Other: I chose this college because I got it through Madhya Pradesh DTE counseling, which occurs after the JEE examination every year. College provides a decent campus life. There are many events that are held in the college every year, like E-Sangam, Aakshank, etc.

Good faculty members. Facilities and placements are average.
Placements: Approximately only 30% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. INTEL and many other companies visit, but most of the time they ask for coding skills, even for our branch. About 40% of students will get internships in many companies like Infosys, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are not so good. Library is good and classrooms are also good, but the Wi-Fi is not working well and there is no internet connection. There are no medical facilities. Hostel is not good and mess is also not that great. It is good in sports. There are different types of labs, which are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us well and some teachers also motivate us in the classroom and teach us how to be great individuals. Courses are also good making us industry-ready. Semester examinations are quite difficult.
Other: I love electronics and this is the branch where we can learn so much. Many events, fests, scholarships, and much more organised. Many big businessmen and teachers, like Gajendra Purohit Sir, come to events such as those in the E-Cell club.

My journey in the DAVV college.
Placements: Most students do not participate in placements due to the low salaries offered by companies. However, those who do are often placed in mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. The roles offered in the course include data analyst, engineer, and computer engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Classrooms are fully furnished, and libraries with the most resourceful books are present in the department as well as in the central library of the college. In the hostel, the food quality is not good, and people prefer to eat outside the mess.
Faculty: Semester examinations occur every six months, though some semesters can be covered in five months or less. Semester exams are easy, as some questions may be repeated. The course is well-designed to provide knowledge of computing languages.
