Not good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: This college doesn't provide any placements, and placement after Polytechnic is usually low. However, this college provides internships to students in the computer branch in companies like Cybrix, while the civil branch did not receive any internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are average and not really maintained. There are AC units in all classrooms, but they are not in working condition. The college does not provide any hostel facilities, and the non-functional AC in the classrooms makes it uncomfortable for students to attend lectures during the summer.
Faculty: The faculty members of the civil branch in this college are really helpful and kind toward the students. They are well-qualified lecturers, having completed their M.Tech in their respective branches. The semester exam is out of 70 marks, in which students have to score at least 28 to pass.
Other: My branch is Construction Technology. I chose this branch because I come from a construction background, as my family business is related to construction works.

Review of Dharampeth Polytechnic College.
Placements: There are no proper placement facilities for students here. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Recruiting companies here are Mahindra and Infosys. Only 10% of students got placed through placements.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here, and everything is good. The infrastructure is quite good but not the best. The hostel facility is not available here for students and even for girls. However, there are many PGs and private hostels nearby, but they are quite expensive compared to other colleges' hostels and PGs. You can't complete your college with that fee.
Faculty: Teachers here are very friendly and helpful. They give good guidance to students for their future studies and examination. The curriculum is similar as it belongs to the MSBTE board, but they provide good practical knowledge to students so that they can be ready for industry. The examination structure and its difficulty are moderate as in other colleges of Nagpur.

Genuinely talking the placement were pretty good back in 2012.
Placements: Well, nearly 85% of students get the placement right after passing out. the highest package offered was Rs 35,000 and Rs 18,000 per month was the lowest. The top recruiter was Mahindra automobile company.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is impressive if you look at it. The library is damn peaceful and there is a cafeteria and a huge playing ground with a basketball court.
Faculty: Talking about the teaching staff, they are entertaining and engaging at the same time. The courses curriculum makes you job-ready and the pressure we face at the workplace is equal to what we face at College while submitting lab projects.
