Q:   What is the selection process for MBA and minimum CAT percentile required at Dhruva College Of Management?

    A:

The Dhruva College of Management's MBA admission process comprises three stages: achieving a valid percentile in exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or TS-ICET, progressing to a Group Discussion (GD) evaluating communication and teamwork, and finally a Personal Interview (PI) assessing motivations and personality. Though no official minimum CAT percentile is declared, a range of 75-80 percentile is considered secure, with a higher percentile strengthening the application. Q:   What is the selection process for MBA at Dhruva College Of Management?

    A:

The Dhruva College of Management (DCM) MBA programme selection process consists of multiple stages and is mostly based on merit.

Q:   What is the minimum cutoff for MBA at Dhruva College Of Management?

    A:

There is no minimum score requirement for Dhruva College of Management's (DCM) MBA programme (which is offered as PGDM). Instead, they focus on reducing the number of applicants by taking into account both their CAT percentiles and how well they performed in subsequent rounds like the Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).  Unofficial data from prior years suggests a safe range for general category applicants in the 75–80%ile range, despite their non-disclosure of cut-off percentiles. However, depending on the number of applicants, course specialization, and level of competition, these approximations could vary.

    A:

Dhruva College of Management (DCM) provides a flexible and inclusive approach to MBA admissions by accepting various entrance exam scores, offering applicants multiple pathways to showcase their potential. The prestigious CAT, where a commendable score (around 75-80+ percentile) significantly bolsters your application, is among the preferred options. For students from Telangana, the state-level TS-ICET is an advantageous choice with a recommended score of around 80-85+ percentile. I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: The college provides a good number of opportunities and tries hard to bring companies. Everything depends on students performance to get selected. Placements are good here. Companies that recruit students are Byju's with a salary package of 10 LPA, Deloitte with a salary package of 6.75 LPA, Byjus HR with a salary package of 6 LPA, ITC with a salary package of 4.5 LPA, Berger Paints and TCS with a salary package of 5.75 LPA, Wildcraft with a salary package of 4.2 LPA, Ctrl S, Cosyn and Value Creed with a salary package of 4 LPA, Genpact, ICICI, ISFC, Novo Insurance and Kotak Mahindra Bank with a salary package of 3.5 LPA, Ryan Tax with a salary package of 3.36 LPA, Ratnadeep Retail with a salary package of 2.8 LPA, PI Square Technologies HR with a salary package of 2.5 LPA, etc. The highest domain in recruitment is marketing, followed by finance, and least in HR. Above 50 companies visited this year, but there is a very less conversion rate as getting placed depends on students. About 62 students got placed out of the batch of 120, and placements are still going on. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.5 to 4 LPA, IHS Markit, Invesco, KPMG, S&P Global, Berkadia and All Cloud Enterprises also offered placements in finance. Still, no one got selected. There are also good companies for other domains, but there are no selections. Placements here are very good if you perform well in the interviews. There are very few opportunities in the HR profile as compared to others. Top roles offered are senior sales officer trainers, sales trainee, department manager trainee, store operations manager trainee, tax consultant and associate, KYC AML analyst, assistant manager, HR executive, etc. Internship opportunities for the 2021 batch are good in marketing and HR profiles, while in finance, fewer opportunities were given. Students, in turn, paid some amount to buy a course and do a project for the summer internship. The internship and placement rate is 100% for our 2021 batch. No company paid a stipend as it was a pandemic.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is world-class, and we have top-notch classrooms and facilities on par with top B-schools. There is a huge library, a Wi-Fi facility and a computer lab. Hostel facilities are very good as they provide daily room maintenance and cleaning services. The quality of food is awesome here, but every week the menu is the same. There is no air-conditioned facility available if someone wants to opt for it. Wi-Fi is not stable in all the rooms, so we need to adjust. There are no washing machines, but we can get a paid service from a launderer. Overall, my experience is awesome because of the environment and surroundings. The hostel fee is around 1.5 lac for 2 years, and I am impressed with the facility.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is very good. Every faculty member is helpful to students, and they have good industry experience. I am in finance, and the teaching was awesome. Most of the faculty members impart case-study based studies with live examples, so it makes it easy to understand the theory. They give industry-aligned projects and also use them for evaluation. The course curriculum is updated and helpful for career development. All the faculty members are not the best here, and it also depends on individual perception. The level of active participation of the students is also considered here for overall performance evaluation. Every student here is encouraged to participate on and off stage to improve themselves.
Other: An annual fest is conducted named Muqabla, which is an All India Undergraduate Fest which went online this year due to covid, so it provides the opportunities to be the co-coordinator for events and explore ourselves. Every festival is celebrated, and campus life is very good. The college is best suitable for students who want to pursue PGDM with less fee as they have fee restrictions, and we need to make the most out of it to get the ROI. Scholarships are also provided based on the entrance exam scores.
