IIM Sirmaur Admission Criteria for 2025-27 Batch (OUT): Check CAT 2024 Cut Off and Weightage

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur has released its admission policy for the MBA batch 2025-2027. Admissions will be done through Common Admission Process (CAP). The minimum qualifying CAT 2024 cut offs for PI shortlisting is 92 percentile for General category students, 70 percentile for EWS, 74 percentile for NC-OBC, 54 for SC and 40 for SC/DAP students.
Weightage allotted to CAT exam score for preparation of final merit list is 30. WAT and PI round performance carry 30 points. Read below for detailed IIM Sirmaur Selection Criteria 2025-27.
IIM Sirmaur Admission Process 2025-2027
IIM Sirmaur will follow the Common Admission Procedure (CAP) under which the Personal Interview (PI) round of IIM Nagpur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur. are conducted by one of these participating IIMs. For 2025 batch admission, IIM Bodh Gaya will conduct the IIM CAP. The components of CAP for all the above mentioned institutes are common namely, scaled CAT score, WAT-PI, Class 12 marks, Graduation marks, work experience and diversity (academic and gender).

The CAT (Common Admission Test) is a highly competitive entrance exam for admission to various management programs offered by top business schools in India. The percentile score in CAT exam is based on the relative performance of the test taker compared to all the other test takers.
The cutoff percentile for admission to top business schools varies from year to year and also depends on factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and the number of available seats. In general, a percentile score of 90 or above is considered a good score and can help you secure admission to some of the top business schools in India. However, to increase your chances of admission to the top-tier business schools, a percentile score of 95 or above is preferred.

Sectional cut off in CAT exam refers to the section wise percentiles required by the candidate for making it to the Personal Interview round of the IIMs or other top MBA colleges. According to IIM Sirmaur admission criteria, those who will meet the CAT cut offs mentioned above, will be eligible to appear in the PI round. However, it does not guarantee the interview call. Post the PI round, the performance of each candidate will be evaluated. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of each candidate’s composite score.

IIM Sirmaur reserves 40 of seats for female students. The first preference would be given to the qualified female candidates through the CAP 2025 process.
Upon selection, the candidate will receive admission offer from IIM Sirmaur in an email by April-May 2025, following which the candidate will have to confirm acceptance of admission offer by filling the offer acceptance form and paying the requisite fee. The fee amount will be adjusted against first installment of admission fee or will be refunded in case any candidate decides to not seek admission. INR 1,000 will be deducted as processing charges.
