Generally speaking the college is above average. Yet necessity is also in great demand.
Placements: To be honest there is no job placement in the college as far as my knowledge concern. Though there are reasons to prove that the college is one of the best college in the state. Since there is no multi company in the state the chance of campus interview or placement is nil. In the same time the Northeastern region has been forgotten by the mainland. However the management are giving their best effort to draw the attention of corporate body in near future. The college provided a platform for students opting for master studies in different parts of India with scholarship aid. Competitive coaching institute like ALS have now identified the potential of many deserving students and have helped many aspirants with low cost fee. Nevertheless the students are well-equipped and well trained. Only they need to be exposed to the world. Of which the management of the college are also determined to offer the platform for the deserved students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so satisfactory. There is no Wi-Fi and no gadgets is allowed in the college premises. There are few laboratory for Science stream. Computers are provided atleast 45 minutes a day. The classrooms are well furnished with whiteboard. There is projector facility in every classroom. Library is well maintained though some books are lacking. There is a multi auditorium in the college. The college hostel needs to expand. The mess and canteen quality needs improvement. The medical support team is missing. Games and sports is encouraged though the standard needs improvement.
Faculty: The teachers are dedicated. They are friendly and ready to extend help at any time. They provide notes with full preparation. Though there is a need for more experienced teachers the students can grasp their lessons well. The college is under the state university. The syllabus is revised by the approved state boards. However there is a room for improvement.
Other: There are few colleges which offer commerce stream in a state. Out of which this college is known for its credibility. There is better scope as few opted for this course in the region. The teachers students relationship is the most vital. Syllabus should be covered in a stipulate time. The college organise seminars, awareness, orientations, departmental activities, film fest, food fiesta, drives, concerts, campus ministries, etc. Scholarship are given to meritorious students. The environment is cordial and eco friendly.

A promising college which still has miles to go.
Placements: Don Bosco College doesn't have a functioning placement cell (most colleges in Manipur don't have campus placement systems).
1. 0 (zero) percent of students were placed.
2. There was no salary offered.
3. No recruiting companies for our course.
4. No roles were offered.
5. None of the students got internship.
Infrastructure: Commerce Department
There are a total of four classrooms (1each for First-year and second-year students and one each for the final year students of Accounting and Management honors respectively), for the students of our department. The faculty has their staff room. One of the classrooms has a Smartboard facility used for seminars and presentations. One can avail of First aid facility from the Vice-principals office. Students prefer a private run canteen to the ones run by the college.
Faculty: There are a total of 6 teachers in the department of Commerce. Some are qualified both in theory and practice. However, some are not so. They help us keep up to date regarding Business news and events. The course curriculum is of course very much relevant. However, I don't think it helps the students industry ready since they lack hands-on experiences/activities.
Other: 1. I chose this course considering the wide array of opportunities with such a coveted degree coupled with fairly above average academics.
2. Like the students taking Bachelor of Social work BSW it would be great if B.Com course could also include hands-on experience in industry related activities.
3. Being situated in an obscure village, the college doesn't have quite many industries/business hubs. Annual events such as "Accolade", Commerce Fest etc. Try to fill in this gap by exposing the students to business related activities and competitions. Renowned businessmen and entrepreneurs are also invited to give prep talk etc.

Don Bosco College is on the outskirts of Maram town, which is located in a serene environment.
Placements: Placements were pretty good here. As I am now a branch manager of Career Power Siliguri, this was possible only because of the opportunity provided by our college and the kind of supporting staff members. So, without them, it was impossible for me to reach such heights in such a short span of time. Don Bosco College is one of the best colleges in the entire North-Eastern states.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome here. There are facilities like a computer lab, community hall, gym, cultural dance attire, good Wi-Fi system and clean and pure drinking water. Moreover, there are good roadways as our college is situated very near to the highway. There is also a canteen in the college. Besides that, students are provided with chances to participate in different competitions to be the best in those activities. Classrooms are state of the art, and all science labs are equipped with sophisticated equipment.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and are always ready to help students if they may need. The ratio of student to faculty is 1:40. Industry exposures are also provided. Campus recruitment is also conducted from time to time so that many students who are willing to join the corporate sector get placed. Even students who do not avail of the opportunity are also provided with excellent chances. The satisfactory part is that every student participates in co-curricular activities and social work, so they emulate as the leaders of the society.
Other: Many events such as college week, Jesus feast, seminars and NSS camp are organised every year in our college.
