Reality of an Average IPU college.

Placements: In my course, only 10-15% are placed till now. This year, the placement rate is very bad in our college. Top recruiting companies are Agrusoft and Axicom. Roles offered were both technical and marketing roles. The highest package till now is only 6 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. College did not help us get any internship. The college does not help us in any case for getting placements.

The reality of my college. Keep in mind before taking admission.

Placements: Placements are not as such good if we talk about on campus but off campus students can grab good packages. So you can think of this college to take admission. The placement only depends to you how you can prepare for that and how desirable you are.

Review of Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements as it is a tier 3 college. From this college, the first batch of BBA was passed out in 2017. This college does not have a reputation for the BBA course. Our college does not provide industrial exposure and internships. Our college follows only one rule that you pay fees and get a degree.

This college is not at all recommended for BBA.

Placements: Not even a single company came to the college for placements, and also there was no personal placement drive for BBA students. The placement drives are conducted for MBA students, in which we only got a chance to sit as the company's preference is MBA students only.

I am dissatisfied due to no opportunities for civil engineering students.

Placements: For the civil engineering branch in our college, placements are quite satisfactory. Almost a minimal number of companies visit our college to recruit civil students on a regular basis, and I wish the college should focus on providing the best placement opportunities for civil students.

I am dissatisfied because of unsatisfactory.

Placements: The placements in our college are satisfactory for branches excluding mechanical engineering as well as civil engineering at Infosys is the only company which come here on regular basis and recruit the students for only some time and the Placements of civil engineering is quite unsatisfactory.

The college provides average learning prospects.

Placements: Placements for the top 25% of the students are above average, and many students were offered good salary packages. But many were struggling to get placed. Many companies like Infosys, Way2SMS visited the campus for hiring students from CS, IT, and mechanical branches. Internships were decent here.

There were no placements for civil engineering in 2017.

Placements: There are no placements for the civil and mechanical branches. There are placements for the rest of the branches. Infosys visits to hire students from every branch, but it fires them after some months. No company visits for placements of the civil engineering branch.

College is totally useless, no placements, no qualified faculty, bad infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. It is a useless private college, no need to take admission here at any cost. Even the toppers don't have opportunities to get placed. People regret very much after taking admission here. It is totally a waste of time and money. The packages provided in placements are very low.

Not satisfactory with the placements, curriculum and faculty.

Placements: Placements on campus were not up to the mark. When I came as a fresher back in 2014, around 350 students from different branches were recruited by Infosys and at present this number drops to roughly between 45-50 and that too from CS and IT streams. No core companies of my stream has visited till date and most of the jobs are related to Sales and marketing with average package around 2-3 lacs per annum. So if anyone is planning to pursue EEE from this college I would recommend not to do that as ...

Poor training and placements in the college. Not recommended.

Placements: Pathetic condition of placement in this college. I thought, observing the trend, that Infosys would take up a large number of students. But only Infosys is the big name heard in this college, and the placement drive is the pool campus one, making the chances of selection very less. This year, only 70 candidates were selected among 2-3 colleges after the aptitude test. Placement cell does't want to make any solid efforts and suggests students take exams like amcat and cocubes.

Satisfied with some of the knowledgeable faculty members but dissatisfied with the placements

Placements: The major recruiter which comes for campus placement is Infosys. Overall, 111 students of the 2016 batch got placed in Infosys. Infosys offered Rs. 3.25 LPA. No core companies for placement for the branches like mechanical, etc. Placements were not up to the mark.

Satisfying infrastructure , dissatisfying placement process.

Placements: The placement process was not satisfying. 40% students of our batch got placed. The highest package through CoCubes in spread spectrum company- 7 lacs. The average salay-3 lacs and the lowest salary- 2 lacs. Infosys and NEC visited for placements. Nobody gets the internship from the college, so don't expect it.

Good infrastructure, zero placement, unsatisfactory faculty.

Placements: Placement of NIEC is shown very high in prospectus and website, but except for a few branches, the placement record of NIEC is nil. In terms of percentage of placement in civil engineering, only 7 out of 120 (5.83%) students got placed, that too in Infosys and Capital Via ( non-civil engineering companies). Now coming to the salary, Infosys offered Rs. 360000 per annum. Besides these companies, a few civil core companies also came but the average the package was Rs. 180000 per annum. In terms ...

The good thing about my college was its infrastructure. It was well-constructed and classrooms were good. The bad thing about college is faculty. They are not worth and the sports culture sucks. The crowd is okay. Management is worst. No placement. Waste of money.

The infrastructure of the college is good. But only one or two companies come to the college for placements. The jobs are mostly secured by the students on their own, which the college brags about so much on their website. Not worth the money at all. Don’t go to this college. Look for a college with better placement records.

The college is located between the slums of Shastra Park and Seelampur. However, that will not affect you much. The infrastructure is good. There are 5 blocks, an auditorium, amphitheatre, library, playground, sports room and common rooms also. The teachers do their work, it is up to you whether you want to study or not. The fests and extracurricular activities inside the college are not up to the mark. The director likes discipline. You cannot sit and gather here and there or anywhere durin...

I am dissatisfied because of placements and management.

Placements: Almost 5% of the students got placed. The salary package offered is 2 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiter. The salesman role is offered here. Placements of our college are the worst because of lack of ability of P&T cell. They were unable to bring companies for placements. On the college website, they have shown a lot of fake information.
