Is it worth pursuing B.Sc at Dr. Ambedkar College?

Here's a summary of the key points:

    * Placement Cell: The placement cell is not well-developed, and only 20% of students are placed. Maximum package offered is 3 LPA.
    * Campus Life: Campus life is low-key, with no Wi-Fi, old classrooms without projectors, and a limited library. No hostels are available, and students usually live off-campus.
    * Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, but the course curriculum is outdated. Practical components are lacking, and exams are challenging.
    * Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, with a spacious library, good classrooms, and laboratories. Canteen services are satisfactory.
    * Extracurricular Activities: Limited events and extracurricular activities are organized, mainly focusing on academics and cultural events.
    * Job Opportunities: After completing B.Sc, job opportunities are scarce, especially in the core field. Most students pursue higher education (M.Sc/Master's) for better prospects.
    * Teaching Quality: Teachers are knowledgeable, but some may lack enthusiasm or clarity in explaining concepts. Teaching methods are traditional, with minimal technology integration.

Overall, while Dr. Ambedkar College has its strengths, the placement scenario and outdated course curriculum might deter some students from considering this institution. However, those looking for a well-rounded education with a focus on theoretical foundations may find the college suitable.

The teachers and study is perfect in this college like best if you want study only
Placements: There are so many different courses where packages offered really good and high. But if I'll talk about my course then we were offered some packages like 5lac per annum and may be entry level graduates deserve this kind of package so it was good.
Infrastructure: It was good like in this amount of fees it was worth it and definitely should go for it. Furniture, food everything was good. So no need to worry at all . Facilities were also decent and respectful so go and crack your future buddy.
Faculty: Teachers were amazing like if the best in Nagpur . They really are experienced and both young teachers so that you can have benefit of both styles and study thing. This is the biggest plus point of this college like the study and the teachers.
    Other: Fest happens.

Placements were not at all good.
Placements: For our course, around 30% of students get placements every year. There were limited placement opportunities at our college. The placement cell of the college is not very developed. The average package provided at our college was 3 LPA. Around 20–30% of students get internships at the college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a wide campus with all types of required facilities. Classrooms at our college were big in size. The library at the college was fully stocked. The college also provides hostel facilities to its students. Mess food was of average quality. Our college provided various sports facilities to the students.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty of our college is qualified and knowledgeable in our department. All the professors had a master's degree and were experienced in the field of teaching. The course curriculum followed in our course was old. Exams at the college can be easily passed.

I have been satisfied by the faculty.
Placements: There are 50-70% chances to get placed in my course. There are average to the highest packages offered in our course. Like HCL, TCS, Infosys, etc. No idea regarding internships. Developed and many more. The more you practice the language it will get better.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, classes, library and canteen are good. I don't live in hostel. But in campus we have celebrated the sports day. Labs are well-equipped and organisation are good. I would like to appreciate the campus system.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, the teaching quality is quite good. My sem exams are moderate for me. The course is relevant in every aspect and it does provide better options for the students and make them ready for industry. I am loving the course.
Other: I would be better to provide practical knowledge rather than the theories. Event and fest are good, surrounding is good and friendly they also take extracurricular activities for the student.

Overall Dr. Ambedkar College is one of the best Science college in Nagpur.
Placements: My College has a proper Cell for placement activities where they organize different Sessions regarding Placements. Mostly The start up companies offers the job here and with an average salary for Interns. Mostly 70% students get placed depending on the Students about how they take the opportunity. B.Sc. Students mostly go for Masters Course instead of Internship.
Infrastructure: Library is very good here but it is much smaller that's why sometimes there is no space available for the other students to study. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the college it is only available for college staff. Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab is average.
Faculty: Each department was very good And teaching was Good here. As this college is under Rtmnu University all the Semester exams are taken by Rtmnu. Minimum 35% is required for passing the Semester. This Course helped me in learning new things about the particular field.

Our college has good faculty members but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Most of the students of our college are not placed. Many of them opted for government exams or took admission for post-graduation. Students are not informed about on-campus placements and hence they opt for other ways. I am disappointed with the placement cell.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are in good condition with working fans and lights. Lab facilities are good. Equipment is available for every experiment in our course. Our college has a spacious library with many books. Hostel facilities are not available. Food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and helpful in every aspect. Teachers provide regular career counseling and information about different courses. Tests and preparation for the end semester examination are conducted. Semester examinations are of average difficulty.
Other: Events and other extracurricular activities are good. Our college should provide more placements.

    Unforgettable memories with friends.
Placements: The college placement cell is not developed; they need a strong placement officer. Only 20% of students are placed, with the maximum package being 3 LPA. Nagpur-based private companies Nova Chemical and Sakshi Chemical are the recruiters. We have not secured internships; the college should get serious now. The roles offered after the course are technician and biologist.
Infrastructure: The college atmosphere is very low, and the facilities provided are also inadequate. No Wi-Fi is provided, classrooms are old with no projectors, and the library, although extensive, lacks modern amenities. There are no hostels on campus; most students stay in rented accommodations or government hostels like Samajkalyan. However, the mess food is good, providing milk and fruits in the morning. No sports activities are organized within the college.
Faculty: The college needs to organize events, fests, and trips. At the very least, they should arrange sports competitions. The teachers are very knowledgeable, but the course curriculum is outdated; they should include more practical components. Each semester consists of a 20-mark class test, a 20-mark mid-semester exam, and a 60-mark end-of-semester exam.
Other: The college is very kind; they provide financial assistance to poor students.
