Very good college with good placements, good facilities available in this college.

Placements: I am currently studying BBA in Dr. BC Roy Academy of Professional Courses. This college has good placements in good companies. The highest package offered in BBA was 8 lakhs, and the lowest around 3.5-4 lakhs. Around 60-70% of students get placed.

Review based on the reality of a well-known college.

Placements: Placements are very below average considering the fame of the college. While the placement record is commendable, there is always room for improvement. Expanding connections with startups and mid-size companies, along with strengthening the alumni network, can open up more opportunities.

Placement and internship are very good, faculty are also helpful, and fests are also there.

Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 3.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Companies like Apollo Hospital Chennai, Medanta Gurgaon, etc. 100% of students got internships in Apollo, Max, Care, etc. hospitals. Roles offered are Marketing Executive, Administrative Post, Front Line, etc.

Satisfied about placement, but some faculty members are not good.

Placements: Most of the students are placed in our course. But the packages are not that satisfactory. Most of the outside West Bengal's companies came for placement. Most of the posts are for OPD staff and the marketing department. So overall, placement is good in our department.

Before 2022, placements were really good, but now there were average placements.

Placements: About 50% of the students were placed. Many of them are placed in MNC companies like SAP, Wipro, TCS, British Telecom, and Maventick, and many of them are placed in a startup company like Edudigm. A number of students do internships from Durgapur Ardent and many of them do from Kolkata from recognised organisations.

I do not recommend any students to enroll in this college due to issues with placements.

Placements: About 40 percent of students were placed in several companies. The highest package offered by a company was 4.5 LPA, which was presented by SAP at Pune. Additionally, many other companies visited for on-campus drives, such as BT, Hexaware, Wipro, and Cognizant.

Giving good placements in 2025 .

Placements: Placements percentage, salary packages, and recruiting companies can vary widely in our college from year to year. However, for proper placements, you can check the portals. They typically provide detailed statistics. Average packages are nice earned for a fresher. Internships need to be done by oneself.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: The BCA course has a placement rate of 1.39%, with the highest package ranging from 6-8LPA and the lowest package at 3LPA. The average package offered is 5.5LPA. Some of the recruiting companies include Qubited, Axicom Consulting, Nature Technologies, Jaro Education, and TCS. Additionally, 0.69% of students secured internships at a cloud caption company as content writers, with a stipend of 20k/month.

I am dissatisfied because of poor placements.

Placements: There were good students in our college. TCS is one of the common recruitment companies. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 60-80% of students go to internships in TCS. The top role offered is manager. It is very easy for CSE and IT students to get placements, but it becomes quite difficult for branches like mechanical, civil, and ECE. Many companies come but select only a few students li...

I recommend it to all the students who want to get placed before passing out.

Placements: Around 15-20 students are selected out of 60 students in our hospital management batch 2019-2022. Many companies came here for placements, like Medicover, Medical etc. The highest package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.5 LPA. Most of the students got internships in the best hospitals out of India.

There is no scope of good placements in this college.

Placements: The top companies are Capgemini which will hardly take 1 to 2 students. The next good company is Wipro which is only for BPO and gives only a package of 2.5 LPA. The average number of students placed is only 20-30% because a maximum of the placements offered are of low salary packages. No internships are offered from the college, and you will have to do it on your own probably the unpaid ones.

The college provides top-class faculty members and well-designed course curriculum.

Placements: Placements at Dr B.C. Roy Engineering College are quite well. More than 40% of the total students in a course get placed. Many companies like Accenza, TCS, Cognizant, and a lot more visit the campus for placements. Students are generally offered a salary package of Rs.10,000-30,000 per month which is quite well for freshers. Job roles like sales executive, BPO, marketing executive, etc., are offered to students.

One of the best colleges in Durgapur.

Placements: Currently, placements are being held 2 times. 1. Internship, where getting experience and skills is the main objective. 2. Final placement after the graduation exam. All the placements happen within the last semester, and after the last semester, enough time is given to prepare for the final.
