Life in college is full of fun and good experience.
Placements: As MCA is 2-year course, we have very little time for our semester exams as well as campus placement.
In my group, we have 60 students, and all of them got a minimum 4-5 chances for placement.
The maximum package is 12 LPA and minimum is 4 LPA.
The top companies are TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good.
Every lab is full of ACs and Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus. The library is a place to find all the books.
Teachers and staff members are always helpful.
And there are many events organized every year like sports, dancing, singing, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are always there to solve the doubts and problems related to them.
Apart from the college syllabus, they will guide them for campus placements and industrial visits are conducted every year for experiences.
Semester exams are difficult because of the very limited availability of time.

Average campus placements are offered.
Placements: 70% of students were placed in our MCA department. The average package offered in our MCA course was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies that came in our college for MCA course were Tech Mahindra, TCS, Fusion Chart, Ingram Micro, etc. 10% of students got internships from our MCA course at Tech Mahindra. The top roles offered in our MCA course were software engineer, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Necessary facilities and infrastructure were available in our MCA department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, projectors, etc. The hostel facilities were average but the food quality was excellent in the canteen and mess. Medical facilities, sports, a playground, and games were available on college premises.
Faculty: The teaching quality was excellent. The teachers were quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level was average for the semester exam in this college. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I am passionate about computer science. So, I chose the MCA course. I used to learn many programming languages, which was the best thing I personally felt in my MCA course. I have obtained Android certification from IIT Madras.

The placements were very high for the 2021 batch.
Placements: Dr BC Roy Engineering College's placements are very high. 70% of students got placed on campus. Top recruiting companies for MCA are Wipro, Infotech, Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Dell etc. The highest package offered in our college is 12 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel facilities are average. Hostel and college canteen food are average, but the price is very low, which is very helpful to students. The college has two big grounds, one volleyball court, and a basketball court.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Almost all the teachers are PhD holders. Their skills are very high. Semester exam papers are almost designed by our college professors. So, the questions are very easy to answer.
Other: I chose this course only for placements.

The infrastructure is good with quality learning. Faculty members are very supportive.
Placements: I am from MCA batch 2017-2020. In MCA, students should score at least 45% to get admission. For MCA student, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra etc. Roles offered are offered as per your skills and interview like system manager, software developer etc. As per college, the highest salary package offered was approximately 5.5 LPA in 2016, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, the average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Mainly students those who have an aggregate of 60% in their academics get a decent internship in different companies like Infosys, Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: There is a well air-conditioned computer lab which fulfils the need of MCA students. Labs are well-maintained, and there are many computers available. There are digital classrooms equipped with air-conditioners and well-lit, spacious. The hostel facilities are up to mark the rooms have four beds, and separate study tables are provided to each student. The canteen is good, and the food served to students are well-prepared. The medical facilities provided to students are up to the mark. The campus contains a huge play area where basketball, volleyball courts are also available for regular sports practice.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-educated and are quite experienced in their respective fields. Teachers provide overall help to cope up with the studies. The teaching quality is more than enough for understanding. As per the syllabus, the course curriculum needs to be improved. They must add more languages.
Other: After completing BCA, the most suitable reason for choosing MCA is to acquire more experience in my field. The course provides the understanding of basic high-level languages like C, C+, Java etc. This course is very much needed to develop the skills to become a good programmer. The course must refine some areas like extending new concepts like big data, cloud computing etc. These are some concepts of the areas that must be added to the course to be fully updated to the latest trends. Various types of events are organised weekly by our college. They provide many ways to communicate with the real world. The campus crowd is good that provides a positive motivation to build ourselves.

Honest review of BCREC, Durgapur.
Placements: Depends upon the market, our seniors aren't fully placed, as there is a huge crisis in IT recruitment this year. Many companies haven't arrived till now. The recent times may change and let's hope when we pass out, we could get a decent job. It's one of the reputed institutions among all other private engineering colleges.
Infrastructure: Computers are a bit old as it can't be replaced every year. Else our classrooms in masters are fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi depends upon the internet service provider, which changes from time to time. We have a large playground for sports, and cricket matches are being held on it. A basketball court and everything is available on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are nice and helpful, but a few of them are egoistic, would always be there who wouldn't stop interfering in anything they find. Maximum teachers in the college are highly qualified. The course followed here is of makaut which is same in every part of West Bengal, who all are under this affiliation.
Other: The crowd is good and decent, and they won't bother you. Since it's an anti-ragging campus, one can freely roam in the college.

I am satisfied with the faculty,infrastructure and placement.but dissatisfied with the canteen food.
Placements: Till now the placement of our batch is good. I have seen that the placement of our senior batch is also good. They are very satisfied and we also satisfied with the placement till now. Many IT MNCs are visited in our college. They provide a good salary like 2.5 to 3 lack per annum. But all the companies are not visited the campus. The companies are offered the role of Analyst, junior developer, executive etc.
Infrastructure: In our college the classrooms and labs are very neat and clean. There are thousands of computers in the labs. In our college we use free and high-speed Wi-Fi. The food quality of our college is quite good, not very good. The hostel rooms are good, many rooms are there in the college hostel. There are two play ground in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are so friendly and caring. All the faculty members are high qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. They treated the students like their own child. The faculty members teaches us that is right and what is wrong to do during our campus drive. The teaching quality of the faculty members is very easy and high. We are thankful to our faculty members.
Other: There are many fest held in our college. Like cultural fest, tech fest, annual sports etc.
