The college has good infrastructure and good faculty, but it needs to improve the placement record.

Placements: The placements in my college are not much good, because my branch is electrical, and most of the companies who visited my college for campus selection are BPOs, sales and marketing. Only one core company visited the college during my final year. The percentage of placement of my batch is only 10-20%.

Nice college with good teaching staff available.

Placements: The placement here is fabulous. I think Meghe is doing a very great job for the students. Also, not only for students who are in Dr Babasaheb College of Engineering and Research, the placement here is for the whole Meghe group such as YCCE, RGCER, and DBACER (SVSS) including Data Meghe Polytechnic too.

Good college but don't expect much like NIT or autonomous colleges.

Placements: Placements are available, but mostly in IT companies. The yearly package is also satisfactory. There is also a program held for campus recruitment and training. If you chose to go for job interviews, you cant change it, and if you get selected, it is mandatory to do the job you got.

The college has good infrastructure and industry exposure.

Placements: There is no mechanical core company available for placement. Only IT companies like TCS, TechMahindra, Capgemini are available. Top 10 merit students till 6th sem will be given a chance to go for a direct interview in some companies. TCS is the best chance to anyone to get selected because you just have to clear aptitude test, rest PI is very easy to clear. The average package for 2016 batch is 3.25 LPA. 10% of selection is there for mechanical student and slightly higher for CSE, IT.

Placements: Several types of companies including the MNCs arrived for the placements. Also, many students are placed on the grade-basis. The highest percentage of students are placed in TCS. TCS recruited the students from our Datta Meghe college as well as the YCCE and the Rajiv Gandhi college. Overall, it is a good place to learn and grow.

Placements: Placements are just fine. You will easily get a package of 2.5 to 3 LPA. Moreover, all major IT giants such as TCS and Tech Mahindra come for recruitments. The college also provides free training and placement classes. Moreover, they also conduct mock interviews to prepare students for various placement drives.

Really good experience of the college life.

Placements: Placements are good as compared to other new colleges of Nagpur. Mostly, IT companies come for the campus drive and this year, some management companies also visited the college offering an average package of 2.5 lacs. So overall, an average package of 2.5 to 3 lacs can expect from the college placement.

Good placements and faculty.

Placements: The placement department is quite hard working. They try to place all the students. There are multiple placement chances and still, you are allowed to get placed years after the college completion. No partiality with low-grade students as they get chances too. The pre-placement training is excellent. I was placed at HCL, Noida with a 3 lacs package.

Try for other Meghe group colleges than this one.

Placements: Placements are usually for all colleges of Meghe Group(4 colleges). So you'll face 4 times the competition. There are mostly IT companies during placements, hardly any core company shows up. I don't know about the percentage, but placement figures are not up to the mark. The college provides CRT for free. The internship was not encouraged when I was in the college. But there is a different placement officer now, so hope it has all changed.

Overall, a good college, Do not regret to get admission here.

Placements: Placements in our college are much good than other colleges of the same level in Nagpur. We have a benefit of having YCCE in MGI, and we get a chance in the companies which come to YCCE. The highest package in our last batch was 3.8 lacs, and we go to various colleges in Nagpur for campus placements suggested by the training and placement officer of our college.

DBACER forms productive as well as smart engineers.

Placements: Placement policies of our college are very good, and every student will get placed if they have their basic communication skills and representative skills are good enough to impress others. Until now, our college provided placements to 90% of students, while the rest of the students opted for higher studies. The good thing about our college is we can participate in any college campus placement process, which belongs to the Meghe Group of institutions. Up to 20 and above companies visited our col...

Dr Babasaheb Ambedker College Of Engineering And Research ( DBACER) ECE

Placements: The placement options are good. The biggest plus point being it is a part of the Meghe group so most of the companies coming for placement in YCCE or NYSS are also attracted towards this college. Also the placement cell is in placement which takes effort to help you get job after completion of course.
