Review of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi.
Placements: There are the top international placements in our college, like Sunpharma, Cipla, and Blue Star. The criteria for selection in placement depends on that company. Communication skills and development are most important in this field, as is the proper knowledge about the drugs or medicine.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is available in all classrooms and practical labs as well as in the library; they provide the book bunch to the first three toppers of the semester. Hostels for girls and boys are also well facilitated and mainly affordable. The quality of food is just like home.
Faculty: The teaching staff is really well and good; they give us lots of knowledge about competitive exams and also about jobs. The semester exams are not so difficult if we are studying well, and the passing criteria is 50% in each subject, but it counts with combined passing practical with theory.
Other: Each and everything is proper in our college; there is no issue.

The review of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi.
Placements: I really don't know the percentage but a good number of students got placed and the highest package was INR 658,000 LPA and the lowest package offer was INR 250000 LPA. Top recruiting companies involve Cipla, Mankind, Sunpharma, etc.; roughly 60–70% of students got internships at the National Aids Research Center, and the rest of them at other companies. The roles offered in our college are quality control, research and development.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good yet; the lab equipment is too old now, Wi-Fi does work; as a result, students coming from long distance cant study in college through their laptops or can't complete any thesis, etc. The library is well organized; books are in tact; however, some are too old but they have new ones too. The food is quite good; I don't know about hostels because I live at home. Sports and games are organized by seniors, and we enjoy them too.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are wise, as they have completed their masters in the specific subject that they teach us. Although we get practical knowledge by practical, yes, we will get ready for industry, I think so. Semester exams are not yet held; they are to be on January 2, 2024; however, the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: B.Pharma was a course that I have been thinking of pursuing because I like the medical field, so I chose this course. There is no need for improvement in the course; it is well organized. Fests and events are held in our auditorium. Recently, we were invited to a TEDx fest. Scholarships are provided through Mahadbt portals.
