It's not worth studying there in Yanam Degree College.
Placements: Zero placements are there as placement cell isn't functioning. The college had so many Science courses in UG and PG but in terms of placements, it's very bad. They don't make us think about career during our study. I personally think the other department faculty is not very well qualified.
Infrastructure: I studied Chemistry there in the college and the department had age old staff with less interaction with students in terms of contemporary ideas. They mismatched me fully in the 3 years of journey in the college. Language dept and Zoology department acts for the destruction of name of the college.
Faculty: The course curriculum isn't relevant to the study. My batch didn't enjoy the course due to high pressure from the faculty member. The college is not doing any collaboration.
Other: The faculty doesn't allow us to do the farewell party and college management asked for the money but didn't organize any function.

Need to increase the internship percentage .
Placements: More than 80% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 15 LPA, while the average is 3 LPA. Reddy Labs is the top recruiting company. Only 1-10% of students get internships in our college, and this percentage needs to increase. The roles offered for our course include lab technician positions.
Infrastructure: Yes, our college provides free Wi-Fi, and we have three labs on our campus along with a library. The food provided by our college is hygienic, and we also have sports facilities available. Additionally, there are personal sick rooms for girls, which are helpful for women's health needs.
Faculty: The staff were highly qualified and helpful to us in teaching, and the course curriculum is relevant, making the students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little tough, but passing is achievable. The pass percentage of our class is more than 80%, which indicates the support and effectiveness of our staff in guiding our studies. Our staff is cooperative and supportive, which enhances our learning experience.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for it. Internship opportunities must increase. We also have events and fests in our college.
