GEC Surat makes good quality engineers.

Placements: In my course, about 40% of students get placements from campus. The highest package is about 8-9 Lacs, the lowest package is about 3 Lacs, and the average package is 4-4.5 Lacs. Top companies for campus placement include Godrej, Adani Pvt Ltd, etc. There are lots of companies coming to campus, and students are also interested in joining them.

Really good faculty members, but bad condition of buildings.

Placements: 50-60 percent of students in my course are placed. The highest package in my course is 6 Lacs per year, and the average package is 1.5 Lacs per year. There are many companies like Godrej, Adani, and Jio that are coming for the placement and take examinations and interviews for the placement.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Students get a placement according to their talents. Multinational companies visit the college to recruit students. The final semester is also an intern semester. Students get placement in companies with a salary package that ranges from 8-9 LPA.

I am not satisfied with the quality of education, faculty members, and infrastructure.

Placements: Only 10% of students from our batch got placed on the campus. Students from our course did not get an internship. Few students got placed in Torrent Power company. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The role offered is the electrical technician.

It is the best college for self-learning students.

Placements: There is a very less percentage of placements opportunities in the ECE department. But we get referrals for jobs and career guidance from our professors. We have an honest alumni group in our college. It is a government college, so it promotes tons of startup programs like SSIP, hackathons, etc. Numerous programs are arranged in our college regarding startups.

I am satisfied with placements this year. It has a bad lab situation, but faculty members are good.

Placements: Currently, I am in the final year in the electrical course. Students did not get placement. Essar and IBM visited our college for placements, but students did not get placed. In the previous year, about 7 students got placed in Torrent Power. From our batch 8 students got a chance to do an internship in ONGC Hazira Plant.

Faculty members here are good. The crowd is good. There are no placements.

Placements: Almost 5% of the students were placed. More than 25% of the students were opted to enrol for post-graduation courses. Other students prepared for government jobs or they found jobs by themselves in the local construction market. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Essar Group is the top recruiter. Construction engineer, construction estimator, site civil engineer, are the roles offered here. The highest salary package offered in ...

Good, if you want to prepare for other exams.

Placements: Placement is not that much in this college. In fact, in our batch, not a single company came in the mechanical branch. Though in electrical branch torrent came and took some students. But there were 2.3 pool campus company placements were happened like in Adani, Sanmar, etc.

Don't take admission if you want placement, but you can prepare for a competitive exam.

Placements: Placements are pathetic. Only one core company visited this year, and the rest were sales and marketing company. In the mechanical department, only 4% of placement is seen this year. Placements for our senior batch were slightly better than this year. Companies like Essar Steel and Torrent power visit our campus for placements. Few of our classmate got placed in companies which are organised by pool drive for recruitment. For internships, none of the companies has visited the campus. For core co...

I am satisfied with faculty members but extremely disappointed with the placements scenario.

Placements: Placements scenario for the mechanical department is not good. Hardly two-three companies visited our campus for placements. Not even 10% of students from the mechanical department got placed. Students who got placed mostly offered a salary package of around 3-5 LPA.

I am very disappointed of institutions but the faculty is very helpful and friendly.

Placements: In my college, every year hardly 10 to15 students were placed out of 600 students. The highest package offered was 5 LPA and the average page is Rs 70k per annum. The major recruitment companies are Essar Telecom Retail, L&T, and Reliance. The college also mandates students to register themselves on internship websites.
