The only problem in the college is lack of placements.
Placements: There are no placements, except a few BPOs might come, and a few consultancies. Our batch was lucky that TCS had some training programme and they trained us for a few weekends and finally had recruitment and only 2 were selected. Other than TCS, none of the companies was worth. In senior batch, there were no good placements.
People struggle to get a job after passing out from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It has good labs. It looks beautiful. There are trees everywhere and can feel fresh air. The Wi-Fi is provided to the students. The classrooms are good. A small medical centre is there for minor issues. You'll be transferred to the civil hospital for major ones. The library is very good, and it's a highlight of the college.
Faculty: The faculty are strict. Most of them complete the portions. Knowledge wise, they are not up to the mark. The teaching quality is little poor. The student to faculty ratio is good, i.e. 14:1 is the ratio. The mining people get good industrial exposure, and mechanical guys go to industries nearby. There is real underground mining model, and it's one of it's kind.
Other: We have a feat gold rush, and it's a 3-days fest. It will be conducted beautifully, full of enjoyment, and president offers Rs. 1 lacs every year as awards for prizes for completion. The campus crowd is good, and mostly, all are localities. The surroundings are jungle-like, and there is a small hole in the backside of the college.
