Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no placements.

Placements: Our college is waste, no placements, no experienced faculty, good salary. The lowest-12k, average-25k, the highest-80k, no campus placements, very less students got internship, there is no placement cell, no internships, is not at all useful, no companies visited campus.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are provided in this college but only a few for our senior batch. They have got the job in Tech Mahindra, and few of them have got their job from out, and we are also getting the latest companies information in our daily WhatsApp group from which we can join in a company.

The college should improve a lot in infrastructure, faculty, rules and regulations, etc.

Placements: There were placements when we were studying in the third year, but now, in the fourth year, there is a slight change in the placements. I think that the highest salary offered is Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum to Rs. 4.0 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCL, IBM, etc., have visited the college. The posts like the manager, leader, etc., are offered to the students. About 15% to 20% of the students will get the internship from...

A review on DVR College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: There are no placements for the computer science and information technology branches. Even BPO companies will not visit the campus. They will provide the CRT classes for students. Few seminars are conducted when I was in the final year which is helpful for us.

I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed because of lack of placements.

Placements: In our branch, the placements were quite good. Out of 65 members of our senior batch, 30 were selected for the job. Our college doesn't have the required equipment in the labs. The placements were good in the mechanical branch. There are no placements for the other branches.

Not happy because of faculty's performance in the last 2 years. Good in physical facilities.

Placements: No placements in my college from the last 3 years. Before that, there were many companies visiting my college. The eligibility criteria for placements is above 60%. The highest package was 8.3 lacs and the lowest was 1.8 lacs in the year 2014-2015.

Taking admissions will spoil your life without knowing, don't trust the advertisements.

Placements: I'm frankly writing we don't have placements now, in past means up to 2013 batch we do have placements. The companies which visited the college are Mahindra and Mahindra, Zahirabad, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and a few small companies. The highest salaries that are offered are 2.4Lakh per annum and 3 lakh per annum. We don't have any internship programmes. In my batch, we did the minor project in BHEL for 1month and major projects in various auto cad institute. We did not get any stipend from compan...

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty as well as with n placement provision.

Placements: There are no placements provided to us. No company has visited our college during our pass out year. Our seniors also did not get any placements. The percentage of placed students is 0. Our super seniors i.e. 2014 pass out batch, got an opportunity to attend the interview provided by the company named Genpact which came as a placement. They offered jobs on BPOs with a salary of 1.2 lacs per annum. Only 2 people got placed in that company. There were no internships in our college. ...

If you are someone looking to learn something in this 4 years, this is not the place for you.

Placements: The are absolutely no placements in this college for mechanical engineering. Even though computer science students got some placements, all of them were BPO jobs. Even the BPOs did not take any of the students in the year I passed out. Our seniors had some placements, at least that is what they said. Our juniors will never experience something called the placement.

Not at all good. Not recommended. Please join another college.

Placements: There are no placements at all. Telangana Udyogula Sangam came to our college and all jobs are based on intermediate. Don't expect much from this college. Some BPO companies came to our college and some people got selected but till now there has been no offer letter. Also, mostly, companies like Beam Telecom, Reliance (BPO), Aqua Guard etc. come. Mostly the jobs are based on inter-base or internships.

College campus life and facilities are pretty nice where you don't feel like you are staying away from home. Infrastructure of the campus is very good for an under graduate student. The college has good machine equipments for mechanical, electrical and electronic branches for the practical exposure of theories they teach. Placements are quite average.

It has great labs, but the faculty members with low grade knowledge. And it's too far away from the city and worst in bring campus placements. The face value of college is good. My seniors got great faculty members and we too had but for only years after that everyone settled in great position.

Prior to my joining college was good because of few faculty members but after 2011 intake few faculty left and there were no good professors. Lack of basic amenities not so good canteen, college environment. Management is lean towards few people and doesn’t take strict actions to tackle student’s issues. No technical encouragement.

College is very helpful for those who have their own aspirations and goals. They can find a lot of time to explore various aspects as you gain marks easily in this college. There are some lecturers who believe in only marks and not in practical exposure.

It was a good College once upon a time with better placements. But after 2009 recession, it started losing its charisma. Being a 2011 passed out, we suffered a lot to get through a placement. And canteen was horrible. But College is spread over 125 acres, which is of no use. Things that need to be appreciated are College building, Labs, Bus Facility, etc.

More than 1000 students come to our college every year. It is located nearly 40 kilometers from Vijayawada. Infrastructure is good which comes with good labs, excellent playground, good hostels, ecofriendly environment, and hygienic class rooms. Faculty and way of teaching should be improved. Placements are not up to the mark.
