East West has a potential to become the top engineering college. As of now, it's above average.

Placements: EWIT placement cell is lead by Mr Chidanand. The placement cell puts its efforts to bring the best companies every year, and it's been efficient, and improving year on year. They suggest the students to enrol with some third party consultancies (students should bear the cost by themselves) such as Cocubes as well, but the least number of students gets placed via consultancy. Most of the students get placed off-campus in 2-3 months after degree completion. On a scale of 10, East West Institutions...

I learnt so many things from my college Do not depend on college and i know there are no placements.

Placements: The placement officer and placement training are money minded people. At the time when we were attending placement drive, only Tech support was entertained. There are no much opportunities for no criteria people. When we get selected in any of the company we have to bribe the placement officer and the department.

Good, but can improve very much to the better extent.

Placements: The placements are good enough, but at last, all depends on the grade points gained by the students. The placement percentage, as far as I know, last year was good enough. I would not recommend this college if you are looking for very good placements. I think placement will be improved in future. According to me, placement percentage might be 50-60%.

Almost good, not too bad or too good.

Placements: The placements of this college are not that good. The placements of the civil and mechanical branches were not very good that time. That time, no companies came for placements. Other branches, i.e., CS/ECE/IT, their placements services are 50% good compared to us. So, those who are newcomers, I don't recommend you to join this college.

The average engineering college located in Bangalore.

Placements: The EWIT has the good placement cell, and about 30-40 percent of the students get placed every year with the average package of 3-4 Lacs per annum. Most of them are from CS and IS departments. A few MNC companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HMT, Infosys, Westline and some other companies come for placements every year. The CS department students achieved the highest package of 10 lakhs per annum.

Study-wise, to gain knowledge and to hang out, our college is the best with good facilities.

Placements: Placements are not that great, and cannot expect any top companies. The same old companies get repeated, and the package will be hardly Rs. 3 LPA, but not more than that. Our college placement officer has very good contacts, but most of the drives will be like the pool campus as we must go to the other colleges.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are good, about 70% students are placed. The highest salary package was about Rs. 45,000 and the lowest package was about Rs. 20,000. Big companies like HP, Dell, Microsoft and good brands have visited the college. They are offering normal kind of roles to the students. 90% of the student got internships from the college. The highest 70% and the lowest 40% stipend offered during internships. There is a placement cell which is very useful.

East West Group of Institutions.

Placements: The placements are available, and many top companies come here to recruit students every year. The students who have no backlogs are interviewed, and the selected ones are given a job. There is a placement cell located within the college to guide the students on how they can build their career. Aptitude tests are often taken to check on which areas the students are good. Some students are offered very good packages up to rupees 3 lacs per annum.

Had a great experience, a lot of fun and also learned a lot.

Placements: The placement was not that great, and we were only able to participate in the core company placements until last year we were allowed for IT and other placement options. We had around 5 to 6 companies approaching for the mechanical department. Around 85 to 90 students got placed. The highest salary offered was 3.5LPA, and the lowest was 2LPA. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL, Capgemini, Tata approached the college. Most of the roles for the IT industry were Software developer, and ...

Good college. But not the best which you would expect.

Placements: Don't ever expect the placements Imm in the final year. Till date, only four companies have arrived to offer the placements. Its not satisfactory in the placement. The college must concentrate on bringing more companies compared to last time that is in 2017. The more number of companies have been attended previously to offer the placements but this time no such companies visited.

The college is pretty good but needs to improve a lot.

Placements: Placements in East West for us(2017) passed out were pretty good. A good number of companies visited the college and hired quite a large number of students. Out of 180+ students, around 110+ were placed. The highest package offered was 6 lakhs per annum, the average salary was 3.5 lakhs, and the least was around 2.3 lakhs per annum. The positions the students were hired for are software developer and associate engineers. Internships offered was very low.

East West Group of Institutions- good placements.

Placements: In this college, most of the famous companies like Wipro, IBM, Tata, Toyota, HCL, TCS, etc. come every year to select students. At first, they give less salary but after some experience, they increase their payout.

Not satisfied with the placements for mechanical branch. Overall teaching quality can be improved.

Placements: We do get around 2-3 core companies every year and a few more in other branches as well. We had around 15-20 recruited for Westline Shipping this year. There will be pool campus placements sometimes. Other companies apart from core companies are IBM, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, HGS, Capgemini.

I studied in this college from 2009 to 2013. Things were good back then. Education is actually provided in the classrooms. You get to learn if you are willing to learn. However, many teachers left after getting new opportunities. So am not sure if the quality of education and college management is same as it was 2 years ago. And, a bit of North-South group-ism is there. My batch was however, free from this. By the way, anywhere you go, you shall face this issue. Food in hostel is yuck. However, ...

The College is ISO certified. The Faculty is really good but still one can expect more. Placement, you guys know it depend on timing my previous batch was lucky enough to get placed but not us. College campus is good they have sufficient and spacious class room, labs, computers lab are good, and electronics lab is ok but provide excellent equipment’s for externals.
