Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Very few placement opportunities are provided by the college. No companies come to this college for campus placements. They prefer consultants to recruit the students. On-campus drives are not conducted in this college. The placement percentage is very low.

It is a good campus with many professors who are expert in the course and good management.

Placements: Our college provides 45% of placements every year. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are IBM, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered to the students are system engineer and software engineer. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.6 LPA and the average salary package offered i...

It was the worst experience while doing engineering in this college.

Placements: Companies visit the college for placements, but students are not eligible for jobs. Salary packages offered range from 1.50 to 3 LPA. Rarely, any company visits with a salary package offer of more than 5 LPA, but students won't be eligible for that. Many consultancies visit in the form of companies. Many BPO related jobs are offered to students. Students have to work on their level to earn a job through off campusing. The college won't provide any placement training, and when provided, it is not...

College is over all good for students if they want to gain knowledge but discipline is very strict.

Placements: Campus placement was good for the meritorious students. Many MNC's visited campus and hired alot of students. Infosys, tcs, accenture, dell, hcl, congnigent and many more like compus hired from the college and offered very good annual package as well.

Good college in terms of infrastructure and faculty members, except the transportation facility.

Placements: For my seniors batch very few people got placed. The placement faculty members are doing they're best to get they're students placed. The companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, westline came for the placements. Depending upon the knowledge about the subject and they're field of interest students are placed.

EWIT has good environment.

Placements: Placements are not considerable in our college. Only 5-10 students get placed per annum. That too their package is only about 3lpa. We had to search for internship in industries. But all the internships that we have attended are no funding basis. Placement cell is not that much functional.

Its good college except good placements.

Placements: It's not that good for placing if it is only above 65 percent students are placed some companies r visiting like Infosys Tech Mahindra westline HP Bosch Triveni turbines and many companies r coming for CS is EC n EEE branches but for mechanical and civil least number of companies are visiting.

Not at all satisfaction to be in ths college, no proper placements and no facilities.

Placements: As I enquired frm seniors, the placement in our campus is bit not good and moreover students % aggregate is not up to mark. They got companies like TCS, westline, Bosch, IBM and etc. But few got placements and 85% r roaming the town wit their files to get their job and finally we hope for best to visit good companies and get through the placement.

Not as good as it looks like.

Placements: Not there. Only voice process will come for placements. Don't expect placements that they have put on their notice board. It's all fake. None of those company come. It's just put up there for getting admissions. Just remember that it's a tire 3 college.

The college is not bad, honestly, it's good as far as teaching is concerned.

Placements: As far as I have heard, around 10 out of 30 members of our branch got selected, and the companies usually ask for software skills here rather than technical and core subjects. Honestly, I have heard this rumours from my seniors. Don't know how much of them are right. But being a VTU student, don't have much hope completing my graduation through these board. Let's hope for the best.

I'm not satisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Here, the students won't get placed. Only software companies will come for recruiting. Mechanical and civil students should not expect placements from this college. If you want to go to software companies, then you will get placed. Last year, 7 of my seniors got placed in Tech Mahindra, and they say that still, they haven't received an offer letter.

I think, if you are looking at every scenario, then you will get better college than this.

Placements: Not even a single company visited for placements. We almost waited all our three years. At least, we could have some interview knowledge, but no companies headed. So, please don't expect any placement, if you are a degree student. For engineering, there maybe one or two companies as I have seen.

Dissatisfied because of placement and facilities.

Placements: East-West college of engineering won't provide much placement opportunities for the students, for BE students they might get around 1 or 2 companies, but M.Tech guys won't get any placement opportunities, we have never seen a placement coordinator in our class as well as in College.

Really not worth the money spent on the college, pay more and settle down well.

Placements: The placement that was offered by the college was poor for all the batches, especially for the mechanical branch. There were hardly any placements, and even the toppers struggled to get any jobs. Though they managed, it was a very low pay job. The package and the work hours offered were bad and not up to the mark. There were no internships offered either.

The overall view is good but needs some improvement regarding the placements and the internships.

Placements: The companies that visited our campus include IBM, Razorthink Technologies and Pompeii among many others. Maximum 70% students were placed in the recruitment process. The roles such as the associate software engineer were offered with the salary packages of Rs. 2.5 LPA and Rs. 3 LPA. The students were given the opportunities to attend the drives. The off-campus drives were also provided which gave us some experience.

East West is a good improving college but right now, it is not good.

Placements: We literally don't have placements in our college but I can assure you that our college placements are definitely going to improve in another 3-4 years because our college management is mainly concentrating on the placement department and important measures have been implemented to improve placements in last one or two years.

Average education in an average college.

Placements: Recruitments are poor in our college. Only five to six companies visited our college for placements but none of the students get placed in any company. The college is just there for our degree certificate and we have to find the jobs outside by ourselves. No training is given for interviews.

East West group of institutions has the worst placements.

Placements: In our college, we are suffering from lack of placements. Very fewer companies visit us and they hire only 5-10% of the total students. Rest of the students come out of the college as graduates but unemployed. This is the thing where college management has to focus on but they have no interest in these types of things. Last year placements were just 13% and the year before, it was 9%. I hope after seeing this, parents will think twice before joining their children here. ...

Appreciate the technological Aspects delivered to the students but when it comes to the placement wise, No the college will not own its authority in providing the placements. It provides a training on the soft skills and the aptitude solving techniques but you will have to depend on your own for jobs. The Electronics and communication department is associated with quite brilliant faculties on whom we can rely on and they deliver a proper knowledge on all the engineering subjects and quite few su...

The infrastructure is good but water problem is more. The teaching is average and placements too. Liberal in giving marks & lots of freedom. Self-study is recommended to improve yourself. Make use of library and time you get in college. The canteen is OK and food is good. The campus is pretty small with less space to hang on. You could make a bright future only with your hard work.
