Review of ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR and Model Hospital.
Placements: All of the students who graduate will get into any hospital and work to earn more than 50 thousand per month. There is no package in this course; you have to do postgraduate and specialize and start working in the specific department. There are courses like Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are, a medical hospital which is a tertiary level medical institute and with a medical college. The infrastructure is good enough, the patient loads in the hospital are also good, we can learn many things in each department. The college also has a library where many books are kept to study and is spacious.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty here are well qualified and teach very well. Here, all the teachers are minimum MBBS qualified and higher, like super specialists with a very vast amount of knowledge in their specific fields. We'll have yearly exams and not semester-wise. One final exam at the end of the year with 4 exams like that.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a doctor from my childhood, and I'm very proud of it.

ESIC: a doorway to quality medical education.
Placements: There are no placements for MBBS; there is only post-graduation, and the opportunities in ESIC are very good, with 50% state and All India Quota, a salary of INR 75k+/month, a fee of INR 2.6L/year, and the availability of scholarships for those meeting the criteria.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is above average, or say on par with a private institution, with all facilities available, but it lacks playing facilities. With a 10-story hostel and a 6-story academic block and hospital, the patients are the best part of ESI, with free treatment available to all card holders.
Faculty: The teachers over here are some of the best, almost equivalent to other top colleges with plenty of experience and knowledge; we have MD gold medalists teaching us, and I feel lucky to have them teaching us. One thing is for sure: you won't regret following their suggestions.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it right from the beginning. Diagnosing cases, attending surgeries, postings, and going on trips with friends can all happen here. More extracurricular activities are needed. More fests are needed. Campus is not that big.

If you want to be a good doctor, you won't get a better college than this.
Placements: All 125 students are placed in government hospitals. The average salary offered is Rs.90,000 - Rs.100000 per month. The top role offered is a junior resident. Top recruiting companies like ESI Hospital, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The academic block and hospital are excellent. The patient flow is too high. You get all the super-specialty departments in the hospital. The surrounding area of the campus is good. You get all your requirements near the campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are MBBS and MD degree holders. Most of them have done their SS. They are supportive and helpful with research-related programs. The course makes students ready to treat patients. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose MBBS because of the immense knowledge and respect gained by a doctor. The course curriculum is relevant. There is no improvement required. However, one thing to consider is reducing the focus on learning by heart and making it more focused on understanding. Sports events are held every year.

I am satisfied with this college because of its infrastructure.
Placements: Most students enroll in PG courses at college. Some students pursue master's degrees in the US and UK. Others take various exams and settle very well in their lives. Some of us started our practices either in clinics or hospitals.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms and labs are well-equipped. We have a well-maintained hostel that is situated in the city and provides all the amenities required. Labs are good and well-funded by the central government. They provide the best service to students.
Faculty: Exams are held strictly according to the NMC curriculum. Our faculty members are well experienced. They teach us very well in clinical aspects so that we can do our best when providing care to the patient. Our teachers trained us for the PG NEET examination.

It is a decent college with a lot of opportunities to learn about medicine.
Placements: The salary package offered ranges between Rs. 90,000-1,00,000 per month. The stipend offered is Rs. 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college from the outside is good. It has all departments, labs, and sufficient classrooms according to NMC requirements. The hostel rooms are mostly 2 and 3-sharing. They are quite good. The mess is average. There is no playground in our college.
Faculty: All professors are good and experienced. Most of them are BMC, MMC, JIPMER, etc., graduates. The quality of education is good. Students can easily pass university exams at this college. The pass percentage is 90%. Almost 90% of students will pass final exams. Around 60% of students cleared their PG exams on 1st attempt with coaching from other sources.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to help people. The best thing about this course is the patient interaction. Our course should provide us with free time. It is a good course and college. You will not regret joining this college. Our college offers all courses like MD, MS, etc.

It provides excellent faculty members and patient exposure.
Placements: We have a one-year compulsory bond, so there are 100% placements. We get a good salary in central medical institutions. We can choose where we want to work throughout India. The salary offered depends on the type of city where we are working, and it ranges from Rs. 80,000-1 lac per month.
Infrastructure: It has newly built hostels, better rooms, and other infrastructure when compared to other government medical colleges. There is a problem with the water supply. Sports and other cultural activities are conducted, and it is not sponsored by the college though they collect fees for that.
Faculty: Especially first, second, and third-year professors are extremely helpful and cater to our needs. But in the final year, we are expected to study the theory part ourselves. Clinical exposure and discussions are excellent. There is a good patient inflow since it is a government college.
Other: It is the only government college apart from BMC in Bangalore. It is located in Rajajinagar, and it is near to the heart of Bangalore South. I wish we had a huge campus, but being in the middle of Bangalore, it is understandable. Sports, fests, and cultural activities are conducted, and it is not sponsored by the college though they collect fees for that. It has excellent doctors and great learning opportunities.
