A review of ESIC Medical College.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed as we have a compulsory 1-year service. We receive an average of 12 LPA, with comfortable benefits anywhere in India upon completion of our internship. We will be offered a job as a junior resident in a department of choice anywhere in India.
Infrastructure: It is a fully AC college with plenty of space. There are very good laboratories for physiology, biochemistry, pathology, forensic medicine, and microbiology. The dissection hall is well-equipped with plenty of specimens. The hostel is clean and has all the required amenities, including a TV room and an AC room.
Faculty: There is a large faculty at different levels, including professors, assistant professors, associate professors, PGs, and senior residents who are from reputed colleges across the country. They are very knowledgeable, humble, and ready to help. They are very supportive during exams, though they can be strict.

Best infrastructure in Tamilnadu with great faculty members.
Placements: There is no placement in this college as medical colleges don't offer placements and assured job offers, but there is a bond period of 1 year in which they are paying 12 lacs per annum for every student, but the posting will be in whichever ESI hospital is present all over India.
Infrastructure: Esic kk Nagar Chennai has one of the best infrastructures in Tamil Nadu, with well-equipped labs and classrooms on par with many deemed universities. Hostel rooms are okayish, and the food here is also good, not a problem. We have 3 outdoor games—badminton, cricket, volleyball—and 2 indoor games—carron, chess—and we also have a gym for hostel students.
Faculty: The faculty members available in the ESIC KK Nagar are the best. They graduated from the most renowned government medical colleges present all over Tamil Nadu and are available at any time to clear students doubts. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Anuradha Mam, who teaches community medicine here, is the best.
Other: Being a doctor is all I wanted, so I chose this course and am happy with it.

Our college has a decent infrastructure, great hospital OPD and great faculty members.
Placements: There are 100 students per batch, and it's a 5-year course, including a one-year internship. During the internship, we will be offered with a stipend around Rs. 20,000 per month. But there is a bond that you have to work for 3 years after the course, and you can break the bond by paying a specific amount.
Infrastructure: Our college building is under construction, so there is some inconvenience. However, it should be constructed soon, and labs and all other equipment needed for learning must be provided. The hospital OPD is great and always full, so it's good learning. But there is no canteen.
Faculty: Professors and other faculty members are great here. PGs are not available for all departments, but available only for OG surgery and anaesthesia. Faculty members will help to conduct researches and attend conferences. They surely motivate. All teaching professors are MBBS and PG graduates.
Other: There are not many events in our college, but they let us attend events and conferences in other colleges.

The college has good teaching facilities with upcoming infrastructural facilities.
Placements: The college provides internships after the completion of four and a half years of studies. The stipend we get during this period is Rs. 18,000. After that, they want us to sign a bond that states that we should work for them for 3 years at any place in India depending on the administration's decision. I'm not sure about the salary for those who work under the bond, since the first batch is only doing their CRRI. It has been only around for 5 and a half years since the college is established. We can also break the bond and be free to pursue our own choices. We can either work in a different organisation or try for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college is an upcoming one, and all the construction works have not been completed yet. However, it's very modern and with state-of-art coaching rooms along with PPT aids. Wi-Fi services are coming up with fancy lecture halls equipped with individual laptops. There are at least 2 laboratories for each subject with all facilities. The college also provides the centralised air-conditioning facility. The library is being stocked up every year with new books. The hospital is just in front of the college, and it is also being renovated for the students. The hostel has also got good accommodation facilities along with students mess. The rooms are shared by 3 people for the first 4 and a half years, and during the last year, we are given individual rooms. The hostel is located at a walkable distance from the college. The yearly cost of rent is only Rs.1800 with a monthly mess fee of Rs.3000. As I said, the college is only an upcoming one, so I believe it will take at least one more year to complete all the work.
Faculty: Each teacher of the college has their own teaching methods. Every day we have got different staff teaching the subjects, so we are exposed to a wide variety of teaching methods. Most of them are pretty good. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them use PPTs to teach us. The course curriculum is based on Dr MGR University.
Other: We do have a yearly intra-college fest in April. We have other functions for different religious celebrations.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: There are 125 students in my class, and MBBS is a 5-year course. The first 4 years are dedicated to study, and the final year is for an internship. The salary package offered is 1 LPA. The stipend offered is Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Three students share a single room. There are common washrooms. Laundry is available. The hostel has a television. A library is available. There is a playground in the hostel where we can play various sports and games.
Faculty: In the first year, we have three subjects such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. In the second year, there are three subjects such as pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology. The third year consists of four subjects, and the final year also has four subjects. It is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance to be eligible for the exams.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor.
