Master of Commerce (M.Com.) - Batch of 2024

I liked to participate the college programs.
Placements: Students are eligible to sit for placement in their final year. The college has a good reputation with employers, and companies like Google, Accenture, Oracle, and Rippling come to campus to hire students. The average salary package is around 12-15 lakhs, and Oracle recently offered a 64-lakh package.
Infrastructure: The rooms are good and there is an accommodation facility for all the students. New hostels like Lakshmi Bai Hostel are under construction to meet the needs. There is no requirement for PG. One room is shared by 3 students. A bed and a table are provided. Every floor is provided with a large common bathroom that has four bathrooms and 4 toilets. There is a common room or a TV room. WiFi has been provided. The room also has cupboards.
Faculty: Some subjects, such as accountancy and tax, are challenging, but the skills I've acquired, such as effective communication, problem solving, decision making, and report writing, will be valuable in my career.

B.A. in Economics - Batch of 2025
4.2

Very good campus. Good infrastructure and facilities. Average placements.
Placements: There is a placement cell to guide students in their placement journey. It is better for commerce students. The course fee will depend on the students category and scholarship. For a year, its about 1400 rupees in B.A. economics.
Top companies like Federal Bank, etc. are recruiting.
Some students got internships in different companies
.
Infrastructure: The facilities of Fatima Mata National College is very impressive. The college has its own working Wi-Fi for students and teachers.
Fmnc library is one of the best library. It also has air conditioning.
The canteen foods are very good and also very affordable.
Over the last year, performance in sports and games has deteriorated.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality of the teachers is good.
This course is curriculum-relevant. This course makes students more knowledgeable about economics.
The semester exams are conducted at the right time than any other colleges. Semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is very low.
Other: I chose B.A. economics to study more about economics.
The best thing about the course is that we can really study how the market works and how the world relies on economics.
The current syllabus contains languages in first two years. Decreasing to one year will be better, so students can study more in details.
There are events and festivals.
The campus is so big, very green and has so many trees, making it very relaxing.
The campus has a Wi-Fi connection.
The campus is located in the heart of the city. There is a bus stand and railway station near the college.
The college provides scholarships to students according to their annual income and the category they belong to.
Also, there are extension activity clubs like environment, physical education, etc.

M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2021
2.8

Good lab facilities and helpful faculty.
Placements: 1. The top roles offered in our branch were research assistant, quality control analyst, junior scientist, etc.
2. The internship rate is around 80%, with companies such as KFRI, JRF, CIMFR, and ATREE.
3. The top package offered was 3.5 Lacs, while the lowest was 1.8 Lacs, with companies like Biocon, Syngene Zydus Cadila, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility wasn't great during our time; there were limited medical and sports facilities. The rooms had attached washrooms and a hygienic mess with various food options. There is a library with online resources available, good classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs available.
Faculty: The session is planned in a way that is relevant to core botany subjects, and additional electives related to the industry would be quite beneficial. The faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable, but there is a lack of industry exposure.

Fatima Mata national college .
Placements: Campus placement is a bit tough. It is very hard. The college has campus placements with various companies. Maybe 20 percent of students got campus placement. The package differs from company to company in placement. College campus placement is in its final year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well built. The college has Wi-Fi and internet available to every student. The college library is very big, with very good classrooms as well. The campus atmosphere is also very good. The football field and basketball court are well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and open-minded. They clear all doubts and help with academics. Teachers are very qualified and efficient in their work. The B.Com. course prepares students for their future. The passing mark is 40. The semester exams are a bit tough, but they can be passed by studying thoroughly.
Other: I have chosen B.Com. because I am interested in the business field
Events are held in the college to entertain the students.

Fatima Mata National college is one of the best campus in Kerala University.
Placements: There are so many opportunities after graduation. 70% of students have been placed in after our course. There are so many companies and banks that are recruiting for our course. Bank manager jobs are the major roles offered in our course. I like my course.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities in our college hostels, like good bedroom good toilets good bathroom, but because so many students are in hostels, bathing times are very tight. But the college hostel foods are not good but average foods there are sports grounds available in our college hostels so we should play free-time football in our grounds.
Faculty: There are some teachers who are helping and teaching good quality and giving good explanations about the subject, but only some teachers are very friendly. The past percentage of college students all over in the semester exam is 75%. Some subjects are very tough, and some subjects are very easy, so many students fail in problem subjects.
Other: I hear about eco-mini students passing out with B.Com. graduation and getting jobs in so many industries abroad or in the nation, so I will choose this course.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

Very much dissatisfied with college. Faculties other than teachers are worse. Very strict campus.
Placements: Most of the students were not placed because of their low CGPA, I guess. In a batch, only 5 or 6 students are good at studying; the rest of them are average or below average. Skills are encouraged; only marks are important for them. Teachers were very supportive. I think the packages we get from placements are about 33 LPA for students who are good at studying.
Infrastructure: I'm a day scholar, but the hostel is worse. Ragging is there. Labs are available; some of the systems are not working, and some computers automatically shut down when students are engaged in programming, so Lab is available. Canteen food is available. Sports and game facilities are not encouraged properly.
Faculty: Teachers were so good and kind. The quality of teaching is good. But the course curriculum is not relevant. In the first-year semester examination, it was good, but in the second semester, the exams were very tough; students did not even know from which modules these questions came from. From this semester on, the pass percentage will be very low.
Other: The campus is worse students do not have the right to freely roam on campus. Our college is self-finance, so it is very strict. I will not recommend others to join this college. We cannot enjoy our college life.
