Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what we found:

* Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with modern facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, free Wi-Fi, and well-equipped laboratories.
* Faculty: The professors are highly qualified and experienced, with many having completed their PhDs. They are supportive and helpful, providing guidance and mentorship to students.
* Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is designed by the college itself, taking into account industry requirements. The programme covers a range of topics, including organic chemistry, analytical techniques, and physical chemistry.
* Placement Opportunities: While the placement record may vary depending on the specialization, many students from the M.Sc. programs have landed internships and jobs with reputed companies, including fine chemical companies, pharmaceutical firms, and research institutions.
* Campus Life: The college has a vibrant campus life, with various clubs and societies catering to different interests. The college also hosts several cultural and sporting events throughout the year.
* Internships: Although the college doesn't have a separate placement cell for internships, some companies do offer internships to students, either directly or through the college's industry connections.
* Student Feedback: Many students praised the college's supportive atmosphere, saying that the faculty is approachable and willing to help. Others appreciated the college's efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Some areas where the college could improve include:

Overall, Ferguson College seems to be a good option for those pursuing an M.Sc. in sciences, particularly organic chemistry. The infrastructure is wonderful; you really get to feel that college vibe.
Placements: The placement of the college is good here. Even if you are an average student, you can easily get placed. Many companies come every year for hiring on campus, including IBM, Wipro, TCS, and MNCs like Google and Accenture. The highest package ever received here is 1 crore by a B.Tech student, and the average package is 5 lakh. The percentage of students placed every year who opt for placements is honestly more than 70%.
Infrastructure: Campus life is one of the most beautiful takeaways from this college. You get to know people from all over India and even some friendly countries. The annual festival happens during the last month of the year and consists of cultural and departmental celebrations. The library is a must-visit place, with over 200,000 books on various topics and a study hall for focused study. The antiquity of the college is an issue when it comes to introducing new technology. The college promotes all sports, both on and off campus. There are mainly three student-run clubs, namely SOEC, SAATHI, and ASTROCLUB. Being a member of AstroClub myself, I would really invite astronomy enthusiasts to showcase their talent at our club.
Faculty: The student-to-faculty ratio is pretty good here. In fact, you also get your personal mentor regarding any academic or other problems. The faculty I liked is Pankaj Bhatt sir because he is very friendly with us, supports our work, and is easily reachable whenever we need help. The faculty I didn't like is Ankush Manocha sir; he is more like a traditional teacher who shares PPTs all at once and doesn’t notice if you are learning or not. He is not very friendly with students. Talking about exams, there is a first class test in three CAs, but only the best two are considered. Then there are mid-term exams and end-term exams. If you perform well in CAs and mid-term exams, you can easily clear your end-term exams since they cover 50% of the material. Exams are not tough if you have studied a little. The course is relevant as you can learn new things and technologies through it.

The college leads towards a bright future.
Placements: The Fergusson College has excellent placements for the Computer Science department. Many companies visit for campus placements, including Josh, Accenture, Capgemini, and Infosys. The average package they offer is up to 15 LPA. They also provide internships to students. Last year, 60 out of 70 students in the Computer Science department were placed.
Infrastructure: The Fergusson College infrastructure is well developed, featuring historic architecture. The classrooms are good and ventilated, equipped with smartboards for teaching. The college also has a huge library filled with many books, providing a wealth of knowledge. The labs have desktop setups for students that are updated with recent software, and Wi-Fi is available in the labs. The college canteen offers quality food at an affordable budget.
Faculty: The faculty is composed of highly qualified teachers who are very supportive and cooperative. They teach excellently. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-based, preparing students for future growth. The college is autonomous, allowing them to change their syllabus according to real-world needs and industry requirements.
Other: The college has good placements in the Computer Science department. Fergusson College organizes a freshers' party for students called Alhmora at the PlinkX club, which is a great event. The college also provides both private and government scholarships, including the Rajashri Shahu Maharaj scholarship, Mahadbt scholarship, and national portal scholarships, as well as private scholarships like Swadhar for SC students and Ghokhale scholarship for merit students.

Best College For M.Sc. in Pune.
Placements: The placement record of the college is excellent. Very good companies visit here to hire students in every field, not only in the core sector but also in the non-core sector. More than 80% of the students get placed in our batch. The highest salary package was around 18 LPA, and the average package was around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Annual fest is the main big fest organized by the college every year. The campus is so big and beautiful. The best thing about the hostels is that they are within walking distance from the college, so you do not have to take tension about going to classes. Mess food quality is superb. Wi-Fi is provided to us for our further studies.
Faculty: I chose this subject because it is a very interesting field that explains the Earth's interior. There are almost 8 faculty members in our department, and all of them are highly qualified and excellent in their respective fields. There are mainly 2 exams in a year, and both of the exams are difficult to pass.

Review of Fergusson College.
Placements: For our branch, placements are less, nearly 40% of students get offers from at least one company, and a few students get 2 offer letters. Some companies hire for intern roles based on academic scores with no interview. Top recruiting companies for the course are Fine Chemical, Lanxess, Sinopec, Pidilite Industries, UPL Limited, etc. Salary is Rs. 30,000. Top roles offered in the course are lab technician and chemist.
Infrastructure: College has its own vibe; it's like old wine. Its infrastructure is one of the best. Free Wi-Fi, AC, projectors, RO drinking water, lift, personal PCs are all provided by the college. We have many libraries where we can borrow books for study. There is no hostel for us on campus; I stay in a PG, some of my friends live in private hostels. The ambience is pleasant, but the quality and quantity of food are the best. In the sports ground, cricket, volleyball, and basketball are played.
Faculty: Our Organic Chemistry department has 12 faculty members and 1 HOD. All have years of experience and they are highly qualified in Organic Chemistry. The course is designed by the college itself. For admission, we have to face an entrance test; out of 1k applicants, 60 students are selected. Each semester has multiple exams: 2 internal exams and 1 end-term exam, in which scoring 40% is mandatory.
Other: No college crowd is awesome, but the watchman uncle wants ID card every time we enter or leave the college.

College campus is very good.
Placements: I had a bad experience of placement in aptitude test. I performed well, but after that, the company didn't contact me back. But still, 70% students in our batch got jobs. But more students selected in government sectors. College does not have a separate placement cell for internship; they did not give any internship to anyone. Mounten Geology is the top recruiting company, package offered is 5 LPA on an average.

Being an autonomous college, we designed our syllabus as per market requirements that fill the gap between us and industries. Visits are organized at various sites for the study of earth. We have exams every three months; 80% students pass in our batch.
Other: After my Bachelor's degree in Geology, I want to pursue my Master's in Geology and as well as want to prepare for government exams.

Good college for students!
Placements: Placements are good in our college. Mainly for the IT students. Our college guides us enough to become industry ready but in M.Sc. Physics no high number of students placed. Most of them likely to pursue Ph.D. after the course completion. The average salary package was around 3 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful and well-lit during the night time. There are many clubs and societies present in our college which any students can join. The library is very big and consists of many books. Mess food is good and hygienic. Wi-Fi is provided for our studies. Many hostels are near to the college within a walking distance.
Faculty: The course curriculum of M.Sc. Physics is very hectic in our college. There are 3 lab exams and 5 theory paper in our 1st year. Faculty members are decent and were very friendly to us. They were highly experienced and very research-oriented. Exams are often easy but you have to study hard to pass the exams.
