Absolutely satisfied with the teaching and infrastructure but little bit nervous about placements.

Placements: Placement was not upto the mark till my batch. But after that it is improved a bit and some companies are coming for placement and college even try to take advantage of off campus drives or walk in interviews of various companies to place the students. Placement cell is very much active these days. So overall placement is improving day by day.

The college has good and supportive staff.

Placements: This college has good and supportive staff. The placements are given here in good companies, and it is very near to railway station. The college is good for those who want to take a degree in electrical, not much strict. John Deere, Vodafone, BSNL are the companies which took an interest in early days.

Good College to learn but not good for placements.

Placements: Hardly 10 to 12 guys are placed out of 120. there were no trainings for interviews for students like mock interviews, GD, aptitude preparation. Even finolex company also give job to 2 to 3 people. 2 to 3 companies did come but only for production maintenance. No jobs for CAE CAD department.

The faculty members and the teaching techniques are good on the campus.

Placements: There are placements on the campus, but the salary offered was 15K per month. There is a placement cell on the campus. The college conducts the aptitude training every year for the final year students. The tech support jobs are mostly offered in the campus recruitment. The average salary offered is 12K for the fresher.

The college has good infrastructure. The faculty are strict, friendly and qualified.

Placements: Many companies visited our college, but only a few of them got selected. Overall, 25% of the students got selected. The package they received was good enough, and preferably those students are still working there. A special faculty is provided for sending notification about the placements nearby.

Being a student of this college, I'll summarize that the college is very good.

Placements: As per the region is concerned, the Finolex Industries Pvt Ltd is recruiting yearly. Other companies also recruit, but most of them are for IT, EXTC, MCA students. There no more than 3-4 companies for mechanical, electrical and other branches. Overall, the placement is good.

Superb faculty and peaceful campus.

Placements: The placements are good, but not that great, as various companies visit the college, but the students are not able to clear the mock interview, as they mostly suffer from communication. They are not able to express themselves properly. Companies such as HP, Infosys, Indian Army, Reliance have visited the college, and some of the students have cracked the interview, but mostly a majority of students fail in the mock interview. This year only one student was able to clear all the rounds of intervi...

Finolex College's Electronics branch.

Placements: The placement record of the College is good for the past few years. In electronics field since past few years, there are companies which are selecting more than 5 students per year and with a good package. The companies are mostly from IT background though so, if one is not interested in changing his electronics field. So, the placements are not that good, but there are companies from Core electronics who hire from the college too.

This college is a complete blend of facilities, education and fun.

Placements: We had placement drives all across the branches with Finolex industries coming in for the chemical engineering department. We also had companies like Capgemini, TCS, Mahindra and others for the branches like mechanical engineering, electronic and telecommunications engineering, etc. The highest package offered was Rs. 5 lakhs per annum and the average offer was about Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage achieved was 20% to 25% overall.

This is the first engineering college in the Konkan area of Ratnagiri.

Placements: Many companies have visited our college. Almost more than 80% students got placed in the year 2017. Different companies have visited the college for the selection of the students. The TNP department arranged the interviews from time to time. TNP plays an important role in the placement of the students

The best college for electrical engineering.

Placements: At Finolex Academy of Management and technology there were few companies for placement during the year 2016, but now the rate of placement has increased to a greater extent. I would suggest you go to the institute. CMS, Wipro, TCS, HCL, TATA AIG, IBM have been the part of placement at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology.

Don't opt for this college as it is very far from Mumbai and there is lots of pressure from faculty.

Placements: The placements are not that frequent, and not many MNCs visit here. It's just mostly local companies that are resourcing from here. Infosys, Tata and Jindal are some of the important companies to visit for placement. The average salaries offered are Rs. 15,000 per month.

Good college in the Konkan region. The only place near Ratnagiri to get higher education

Placements: Placements of students are done in many big companies. One of the main companies is Finolex. There are also many other big companies such as Tata, Infosys and many others. Also, internships are held in holidays. Many other small workshops are held to make students know more about industrial work. Placement companies are mainly from Mumbai and Pune.

A quick review of FAMT by a student.

Placements: Currently, the college is focusing on medium level companies for the placement of our students. The college organises campus which helps the student to get familiar with current market need. The faculty members give all types of preparations before appearing for campus round.

Placements: No placements for information technology stream candidates. A few candidates however got placed through our placement cell in companies like Godrej, L & T, etc. These were from electrical and mechanical streams. Again, no placement for IT or electronics guys.

It was the best institute 6 years ago but now it is like other institutes.

Placements: The training and placement department was established last year. We're getting better placements than previous. But they are calling even call centres for engineers. Good but not the best. We are expecting more than this. Because if you are providing quality then students can expect more than this.

The college is good, with average placement and has good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are average. 5-7 students got placed in renowned industries from each branch. The college staff help to acquire good opportunities for the students. The college has developed a training and placement cell (TNP & CNC) for the same.

This is a good college for those who want knowledge.

Placements: Placement is moderate. It department has a good record for placement. For mechanical it is very less. Few local companies like Finolex, JK Files, Gadre are there for mechanical department. For mechanical girls, Cummins and Flextronics are also there. For chemical department, yet no placement except Finolex Industry. For electrical also, Posco Steel and Finolex was there. For electronics and IT, a lot of MNCs like IBM, Persistent, TCS are there.
