Review of Footwear Design and Development Institute.
Placements: Around 40-45% of students are placed. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 per month. The highest salary offered ranges from Rs 40,000 - Rs 45,000 per month. This college gets the highest number of placements.
Infrastructure: Laboratories and classrooms are well-equipped with the latest technologies but maintenance is poor. Students get Wi-Fi facilities on the campus, and there is an IT laboratory with good facilities. The library is small but useful. The hostel facilities are available with mess and average food quality is provided. It has a garden area on both sides of the hostel. There is also a basketball ground and badminton area and other extracurricular activities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and laboratory workers are well trained. Course curriculum is relevant. They give good training to students to be industry-ready, but students need to develop other software skills and work on it. Students could not be dependent on campus placements. Exams are not difficult if students attend classes regularly, they need to get atleast 6 CGPA to pass on to the next semester.
Other: This course will be valuable in the coming future. This college is famous for its footwear and merchandising field and also students get an international testing center here. Students will get an overall experience of how this industry works. Laboratory maintenance and facilities could be improved. There is also useful webinar and events. The campus crowd is average. Surroundings are good and peaceful.

Our college is the best in everything with good facilities and eco-friendly environment.
Placements: Around 80% of the students get placed in placements, not 100%. The highest salary package offered goes to 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is of 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bata, Puma, Nike, Zara, Shoperstop, Pantaloons and Reliance. Top roles offered to the student are as a designer and merchandisers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with a healthy environment. Classrooms are amazing. A ground and a basketball court are available. Working leather labs are vast, and at least 70 Students can work together in one lab. In the library, there are many types of book related to designing, businesses development, storybooks and novels. Best thing I like about our college is people will enjoy when they visit our college mess and college campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are intelligent. They all are highly graduated, and they teach smartly with new techniques so that students can easily understand the technicality. In our college, 85% of the work is practicals, and 15% is theoretical. Students are ready to face the industry because they get trained in a way so that they can face any problems in the industry.
Other: I opted for the course because it is different from other cources and there are more scopes for designing in future.

The campus is good, and the placements are also good as heard from my seniors.
Placements: I heard that placements in the college are good, and even there are 100% placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month approximately and the minimum was about Rs. 10,000 per month. Bata, Sree Leather Industries, Future Group, etc., companies came for placements. Many seniors were recruited in the positions of manager and assistant manager. There is a placement cell in the college, and I hope it will be more helpful at the time of our placement season. I have heard that the placement cell will be helpful during placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, medical and sports facilities are not available. Labs and classrooms are average. Quality of food is good, but the taste is not good. Hostel rooms are also good, but they are not painted. There are more problems that I don't want to describe here, but the main problems are water coolers for drinking water, taps, washrooms, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are as helpful as our family. Their teaching quality is the best. Their teaching methods are very simple; they come and describe the topics and also check whether the task is completed or not. The course curriculum is useful, and there will be a bright future for all the students including me.
Other: Everything like events, extracurricular activities are organised in the college. But the college doesn't provide any scholarships, and we can't expect that from the college.

Think different. Absolutely good and different career choices for those who want them
Placements: Students have to prepare and give personal interviews to their respective faculty members before going in any interviews which is a plus point. When the candidate appears for any interview, they don't hesitate and give their best. The college has a 100% placement record. All the best and respective companies come every year for placements and they select many students. If any student left after interviews, they also get placed in a good company as this is the college's responsibility to place everyone.
Infrastructure: Very good, modern and innovative infrastructure with a healthy atmosphere. There are all facilities like a library, workshops for practicals with all industrial machines for a better understanding. Large auditorium, a big playground, open-air theatre and cafeterias for the student. Very neat and clean hostel especially designed for hygiene purposes. Fully air-conditioned classes with projectors.
Faculty: All faculty members are very well-experienced as this college is running from last 25 years, so many faculty members also passed from FDDI so they know what to teach and how to guide the students for a better career. About the courses, there are many bachelor and master courses you should choose according to your interest like leather goods, footwear technology, fashion designing and retail management.

Other: The college is good but the placements are not good. Also teachers don't help in getting intern-ship. Beside this if you are interested in the course do take the admission as it has specialisation in leather fashion accessories. The crowd is not very high class as it is a government affiliated. No WiFi facility but AC classrooms.
