Choose wisely as your future depends on it.

Placements: Placements at this college are not very good. Only 30% of students got placements. The average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Companies like TCS and Infosys visit our college to recruit students. They also don't provide free internships to their students.

Dissatisfied because of poor placement.2024.

Placements: We don't have on-campus placement; they mostly provide information about many companies' drives to apply online. There is no 90% placement. Yes, students mostly find jobs on their own. Ours too is from Fiem College, Sonarpur. Mainly, all placements happen in the main branch.

There are far better colleges available for Media Science in Kolkata itself than this one.

Placements: Due to Covid, most of the students were not placed. Among the few that were, they were sent to companies that can't even be compared to the standards one may expect while passing out of this institution. Most students got placements in news companies such as Kolkata Tv and Colors Bangla, contrary to the initial promises of placing in film production houses, which were later scrapped with the reason given being the coronavirus pandemic.

I will not suggest the students to take admission.

Placements: Placements are poor, and only 40% of students got placed. Only 2 MNC companies visited on the campus in 2018, and rest are pool campus, so it is in very poor condition. The college needs to focus on placements, and I suggest to college to invite more companies for campus selection so that maximum students can get placed.

Review of FIEM - Future Institute Of Engineering and Management.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, and it conducts campus recruitment drives. In 2011, when I joined the college, almost 90% of the students were placed in CTS and Wipro. But in our batch (2014), only 50% of the students were placed in the same companies, and hardly a few students were placed through off-campus recruitment drives. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. All the IT companies have offered software engineer roles.

Disappointed with the mode of delivery of lectures and placements.

Placements: The placements are not good. Only service based IT companies comes for the recruitment offering low package. The highest was 6.95 Lacs and the lowest being 3.3 Lacs. For the core branch like ECE, EE the placements are worse as few companies comes for the recruitment.

My college is good, but placements are not too good.

Placements: The placements condition is not good in our college, especially in our electrical engineering department. I asked regarding the placements to our senior batch students. They are very disappointed with the placements, and also said that in the previous year, just 2 out of 60 students got a job, and in this year, 2 out of 65 students got a job.

A review on Future Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: Overall, the placements are not up to the mark, but a few students are selected. 20 people out of 120 people get placed in good companies. CTS and Wipro took only a few. After that, only call centres came, and a few very small companies came to the college. The placement is good for the selected students.

A review of FIEM, for the batch 2011-15 from education to placements.

Placements: Our previous batch suffered from placements, but for our batch it was commendable. Cognizant and Wipro are the mass recruiters of our college and shared the zero slots. Out of 440 students from our batch, 175 were placed in Cognizant, 120 in Wipro and 75 in both. The salary ranged from 2.4-3.15 LPA. After that, the college arranged for pool campusing were few others were placed in companies like Yodlee, Capgemini. The companies are mostly from IT domain. For internship programs, 5-10 students...

Absolutely dissatisfied with infrastructure and students of my college.

Placements: Actually, I am not in the final year. But, the placement for this year batch is neither too good nor too bad. In short, it's good. The highest salary given is Rs. 6 lakhs of the package and the lowest is Rs. 1.8 lakhs, maybe I am not sure about this. The companies that take students from my college are like WIPRO, COS, BPO, etc.

The college is average with an average placement.

Placements: The placements are not good in FIEM for the last two years. Last year, only 30% of the students in B.Tech got placed. Among reputed companies, only Cognizant and Wipro come to hire from campus. The highest salary obtained was around 4.2 lacs per annum. The average package is around 3.2 lacks per annum. The placement cell is not really helpful and also mismanaged.

The future institute of engineering and management.

Placements: The placements were not good, but off-campusing works a lot with degrees from the colleges are valuable, and the quality education is available. If talking about placements from my previous batch, 10 were placed on weigh of Rs. 15,000 per month approximately. The internship is not available here, but there is a placement cell which is helpful to the students.
