This college is good for engineering and totally worth it.
Placements: Future Institute of Engineering and Management is one of the finest colleges in Kolkata regarding placement and internship programmes. The top recruitment companies are Accenture, Infosys, and TCS. 40% of students achieve the internship program by their own knowledge.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are quite good, but Wi-Fi is too slow. But all the facilities in the college are good enough for study. The food in the campus canteen is not so good. There are several sports activities to do on campus. There are also indoor games and tournaments on campus.
Faculty: Future Institute of Engineering and Management College is occupied by MAKAUT University, so the exam is tough. Invigilators of this type of exam are too strict, but invigilators of internal exams are too soft. This will make students industry-ready. The teaching quality is also good.
Other: I chose this college for its reputation. The faculty members are very helpful and friendly. There is a main cultural fest that happens every year.

About Fiem College & Campus Life.
Placements: Top recruiting company: Accenture, Cognizant. Average package offered: 400000/YEAR. The lowest package offered: 3LPA. Roles offered: Software Developer. 50+ pooled campus hiring was there at the point of time. 70%+ students got placement opportunities from on-campus companies.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility was not there for us, not sure about if it was there now or not. Labs and classrooms are average with less facilities. Library was quite large and had a great ambiance too. Wi-Fi facility was there in the library for all. Overall, it was average infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but not all of the professors were the same. Course syllabus is relevant, but not that much current modern technology is there in a deeper level. Semester exam questions are not that difficult, but the exam cell is really very strict in nature.

B.Sc. in Media Science - Batch of 2021

There are far better colleges available for Media Science in Kolkata itself than this one.
Placements: Due to Covid, most of the students were not placed. Among the few that were, they were sent to companies that can't even be compared to the standards one may expect while passing out of this institution. Most students got placements in news companies such as Kolkata Tv and Colors Bangla, contrary to the initial promises of placing in film production houses, which were later scrapped with the reason given being the coronavirus pandemic.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in classrooms and infrastructure-wise were average, not bad but rather underwhelming when compared to the amount of fees that they charge. While there are smart classrooms and libraries with a good collection of books present, most of the time they can't be used due to being damaged and not being replaced by authorities. Hostels were not available, but there were rooms and flats available within walking distance. The canteen food quality was average, and the medical facilities, sports, and games were in the okay category.
Faculty: The teachers and the faculty were knowledgeable and qualified in their positions. They were approachable and quite helpful in teaching and providing support to the students in every way they could. The course curriculum could have been better as they kept changing specialization courses in the later years due to faculty members not being available to teach during the pandemic. I don't believe the curriculum made the students industry-ready in any way as it was mostly theoretical, and less focus was given on practical aspects. Also, as mentioned earlier, the course specializations changed, which altered the whole curriculum, at least for me.
Other: There are many things that could improve in the curriculum of Media Science. They can start by injecting practical aspects and things that would actually be useful for students in their professional life later. Scholarships are offered in some departments. The crowd and campus life were some of the positive points of this institution. There was an annual fest known as Flames where every department participated, and also students from other colleges joined. Apart from that, there were fests like Kulrav and Inception, which were department special fests. Campus life was also good, and it felt like being part of a bigger family in those years.

Future Institute of Engineering and Management
Placements: Till now for 2025 batch, the placement rate is 20%. The packages offered are: The lowest - INR 3 LPA; the highest - depends upon the skills and company INR 7-9 LPA; average - INR 4 LPA. Companies which provides placement include ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, TCS, CAPGEMINI. Job roles offered are: Java Developer, Software Engineer, Project Engineer. You have lots of option for this course.
Infrastructure: Its average and not so great. The infrastructure is decent, not good enough but not bad at all. Canteen looks great from inside, food is not at all good. Basically canteen is used for stationary purpose now, they have all the things which you will be needed for your course.
Faculty: It's great to have some skillful and helpful professors. Semesters are unpredictable, because of MAKAUT territory.
Other: It was trending then, but now I have realized that everybody chooses CS or IT field. Vast competition. Extracurricular activities, fest - 9/10.

Ups and downs came in the 4 years.
Placements: Many pool campuses have arrived. MNCs like Accenture, CTS, Deloitte, NLA have started exams. The highest package is 7-6.75 LPA. Students mostly do internships in startups. Top roles offered are analyst trainee, Salesforce, SDE, programme analyst, and many more.
Infrastructure: There's no college hostel. Students from outside Kolkata stay in nearby PGs. There's no free Wi-Fi for students. The library is good, and you get free Wi-Fi there only. There are 4 clubs in the college, which arrange amazing fests. The canteen is not good, as per me.
Faculty: Teaching is not so good, not so bad. Semesters are not so tough. I get 8+ CGPA. Actually, nowadays, you shouldn't expect that faculty members will spoon-feed you. You have to be the warrior and make yourself industry-ready. They'll help, but ultimately, you've got to win the rat race.
Other: Information Technology is as similar as Computer Science. There's a craze about CS, but guys, you can choose Information Technology.

From my experIences please dont take admission in the college if you dont know bengali
Placements: The highest package in my college is 12LPA and the lowest is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Conizant, etc. Almost 85% students got placement from my course. Actually i dont know the top roles offered by my course. I am just doing college for the degree. My plans are something else.
Infrastructure: The access to the library is very bad. Like if there is one seat is available they will not give you the permission to sit because they think in summer we come library just for the AC. The college dont even have an ac in the classroom, the toilets are also very disgusting and smelly.
Faculty: Teachers are good but they teaches us in Bengali language which is very bad for me because i dont know bengali and in the time of admission they not told about about the language I thought english will be given first priority. If you are going to work for someboady then the answer will be yes they make student ready for industry.
Other: There is bo best thing about my college. There event are also boring. Personally I dont like my college.
