A place where people don’t come for excellence but come for a degree.
Placements: Around 5-10 percent of people were placed this year in my college. The highest was 6 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Around 30% of them got internships from my course in companies like TCS, Triveni, and Birla.
Infrastructure: We get free Wi-Fi in the hostel, not enough sports facilities, and not good in extracurricular activities. Mess and canteen food is okay, not that good as it should be. Medical facilities are far away from the college, and inside the campus, there is no doctor for instant treatment. We don't have a games period.
Faculty: Decent teaching quality, I will say, not up to the mark. Teachers are helpful enough, qualified to teach us, and pretty good in knowledge. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant for us. They make students industry-ready with less pressure of studies. The semester exam in this college is not that difficult, and the pass percentage is around 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I am highly passionate about it since childhood in computer science. The best thing about it is the joy I get while doing the work. It should improve areas like more industry-relevant studies and prepare us more for a job. Lots of events happen here, like our annual fest Antaragini. They conduct guest lectures. Connectivity through the city is good. The campus surroundings are in a slum area, which is not safe. Scholarships are available, and we have to be attentive for that. Extracurricular activities do not happen well in this college. Don't come here for that, keep this in your mind.

I am satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: There are 60 students in our class; the total intake of the CSE core branch is 180. The students can get internships after the 7th semester and get placed in top companies after the completion of their degree. The average package is 3-4 Lacs per annum in our college. The highest package was 14 Lacs last year, and 50% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Raisoni College has a good infrastructure. Labs are good and have Wi-Fi. The library is also good; students can sit in the library to study. The library has a large variety of reference books for every subject. Hostel infrastructure is also good, and the mess has good taste in breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The canteen is also good and hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very good at their job. They behave very friendly with students, and some teachers are even Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects. They are always there for us to guide and solve our doubts. We have 6 subjects in one semester. There are three exams in one semester, i.e., CAE 1, CAE 2, and the final exam. In this, CAE 1 and CAE 2 are moderate, but the final exam is tough to solve, and we have to study well for that exam.
Other: I chose the CSE course because it is high in demand.

Bad placements in 2024, okay infrastructure and too crowded now.
Placements: Less than 30% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA on campus, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. No companies came for AI-specific roles. Internships varied from person to person, with many opting for remote internships. The major roles offered were trainee engineers.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi never works, most of the time it doesn't. The building is compact with no cooling systems for the classes during summer, making it very crowded. The canteen food is okay and feasible. The labs are good, with computer facilities, and the hostel is okay, but students usually move out by the third year.
Faculty: Some teachers were qualified enough to teach the new subjects well. Most teachers didn't know much about the subjects and claimed the subjects were as new to them as they were to the students. The curriculum is relevant but doesn’t make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not tough, depending on how well the student studies.
Other: Artificial Intelligence is a new branch, so I thought of giving it a try. Bringing in more advanced concepts would help make students industry-ready. The place is crowded but has decent fests and celebrations like Ganesh Chaturthi and the annual fest.

Absolutely satisfied with placement offers & campus life.
Placements: After completing the course, most students are placed with good packages. I'm selected by ActioHX company with 3 LPA. The criteria for getting placed is that you must have all semester subjects cleared, and no subject should be back. For placement, three rounds are conducted. The first is where you introduce yourself, the second is the HR round, and the third one is the main questioning regarding your syllabus. The companies providing internships are Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra, TCS, and ActioHX. The companies also provide stipends for students, so they can relocate without any hesitation. The internships are mostly based on 1 or 2 years, and during the internship, it is a new journey for you. The company HR and staff are very supportive and help you where you cannot understand and solve your queries. Also, you get an experience certificate, which gives you high opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has many facilities, such as a huge library and indoor sports like table tennis, snooker, carrom, etc. The college has a canteen and a green gym area. All teachers are supportive and highly qualified. The campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity. The books are available in the store near the college, and also in the library, all the practical books are available. Tests are conducted every 6 months regarding semester-wise. Class tests are also conducted for revising. The final exam is semester-wise. The facilities provided are very nice. You have internet connectivity, a stove, a small water supply 24 hours, a bed, a cupboard, a theater, washing machines, and tiffins available. The registration process is simple; you simply go to the hostel department and fill out the form, where you can mention your personal details. The locality of the room and PG is near, about 2 km away.
Faculty: The student-to-faculty ratio is 70, with one class having 2 sections, totaling 200 students. The faculty members are very good. The teaching staff is very polite and solves all the queries related to any topic. The non-teaching staff is also supportive and good. The teaching method is very nice. The teaching staff is very intelligent and teaches with a very different method. They also give all the notes related to exams, and all chapters are included. Basically, per year, there are 2 semesters, which are divided into 6 months: summer and winter. In the summer session, the 1st-semester paper is conducted, and in the winter session, the 2nd-semester paper is conducted. You can give the back paper in either the winter or summer session. The syllabus is a little busy and lengthy, but the teaching staff gives you all the notes for preparation.

Small campus that can give a memorable college life.
Placements: Not sure about our branch, but overall a significant percentage of students got placed in tech-focused domains last year. Placement percentage ranges between 60-70%. TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 6 LPA was the highest package offered and 2.5 LPA was the lowest, while the average package offered was 3.5-4.5 LPA. There is a compulsory 6-month industrial internship offered by the college and it's the student's choice to do additional internships to stand out.
Infrastructure: GHRCE provides a library facility with books and computers along with Wi-Fi. Classrooms are good with proper seating arrangements and projectors according to needs. I am not in the college hostel so I don't have much information about it, but according to one of my friends who is in the hostel, hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are always ready to help with any difficulties related to study. But we don't understand the teaching of some teachers and often get bored. Totally depending on the college does not make the students industry-ready; we also have to put our efforts. Since it is autonomous, semester exams are not that hard, but for freshers (first-year students), it can seem hard. By referring to PYQs and only focusing on material provided by the faculty, one can score well in semester exams. It's not hard to pass if you have good internals. So, try to get maximum internals.
Other: GHRCE is known for its events and fests. GHRCE hosts both technical and non-technical events throughout the year. Antaragni is the annual and biggest event of GHRCE. The worst thing about GHRCE is that the campus is not too big, but you can get a memorable college life if you have the right friend circle with you.

G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur review.
Placements: The placement cell of my college is average as compared to other universities. The average package offered to students is around 4.5 lakh, which is below average. Although the college is good academically, other colleges have an upper hand in placements. In the last academic year, less than a dozen companies visited the campus.
Infrastructure: The department was equipped with basic amenities like drinking water and chairs to sit in during classes. The library was not a spot for studying peacefully. There was no wifi and no internet connection, despite a provision for an internet bill in the yearly college fees. There was an indoor sports facility with chess and carrom but not much else.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have a wide knowledge. They have the best teaching quality. The college curriculum is good and relevant. Semester exams are very difficult and the college also provides a strict exam cell. There are 2 teachers in every class. About 95% of the students passed this year, while 5% failed.
Other: Campus is small. Events are average.
