Ups and downs of Galgotia.

Placements: If I have to tell you about the percentage of placed students, it would be around 60-70% only. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. In the future, it might change as students are getting or participating in hackathons and with respect to internships. I don't think my college provides anything.

Infrastructure: Facilities that are provided to us are minimal as we are in the first year. Our classrooms are also like the same ones in school, but we will get better ones in our second year. Our labs are not bad. The college hostel is good. I don't know many things about it. First-year students don't easily get it.

Faculty: Faculty members in my batch and course are very decent. All teachers are supportive. Some are new, so they are trying to adjust to this new atmosphere. All are highly qualified in their respective fields. Exams are increased due to the introduction of pre-university tests. Sufficient time is provided for end-semesters.

Other: I chose this course as I wanted to become a data scientist in future. My rank was not so good, so I joined this college. It is a decent one. The fee is low compared to others. It arranges many events and fests, so it is a good choice.

It is a quite good college - Galgotias.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in this year was almost 80%. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies were Delotille, Wipro, TCS, and new startups. Internships were low in our college. Our college offered B. Tech courses, MCA, MBA, and Pharmacy courses.

Infrastructure: Our college provided all the necessary facilities. They had Wi-Fi, water, digital classroom, library, parking, sports equipment, hostel, and gym. Our college location was a prime location in Greater Noida. Hostel fee structure was around Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,20,000 depending upon the accommodation. Hostel food was good. Medical facilities were also provided at this college.

Faculty: Faculty members at Galgotia College were quite skilled. They were very knowledgeable and mostly hold Ph.D. degree in their respective field. The course curriculum was quite old I think but it was quite good to make students industry ready. Semester exams were easy to clear. The passing marks will be 21 out of 70 in every subject.

Other: I chose this college because its location is very good. All the companies were nearby to my college. The best course offered was B. Tech. There were lots of events in our college. For example, Unifest was the biggest event of Galgotia College. There were many clubs for gaming, coding, poetry, and many more. There was an official club of electronic department, which held a fest for all electronic enthusiasts.

Good infrastructure and facilities, satisfactory placement. The facilities are good .

Placements: After talking to seniors of my course, I came to know that 60 to 70 percent of the students have been placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and average package is 7.5 LPA offered in our course. Tata, Amazon, Wipro, Infotech, Reliance, etc.30 percent students got internship in ECE department and tata, Amazon, Google and many more. Top roles are the HR. , CREATIVE TEAM HEAD and etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities: No Wi-Fi, Decent classroom, well-maintained labs, The books in the library are also quite good but they are related to the curriculum only. Infrastructure is good On campus, the quality of food is average, and there are great food court areas. There are also average medical facilities. Many sports and game environments .

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well qualified, like Ph.D.s, and from top colleges; they are knowledgeable in our subjects and other topics. Our college curriculum is based on AKTU and the NBA. This curriculum does not make students industry-ready. There are tough semester exams in this college. 40 is the pass percentage.

Other: There are many events in Delhi, including a popular fest called unifest. Good campus crowd, best connectivity, campus are surrounded with nature and under construction malls There are government and private scholarships .

Earlier, the college reputation was good but now, it is losing it.

Placements: In our college, specifically in my branch, the placement rate is not good. Earlier college placements were good, but nowadays, Galgotia is losing its reputation. It does not have good placements as earlier. The average salary package offered on-campus is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered on-campus is around 13 LPA - 14 LPA. Wipro and Infosys visit the college. Around 20-30% of students got placed. The salary package offered off-campus is 40 LPA. Around 2-3 students got internships. Internships are not provided by the college. You have to do all things on your own.

Infrastructure: The college hostel has one boys and one girls' building. There are very less rooms. 1/4 of college students can't get a campus hostel. If you want to get a hostel, you should go first. Facilities are okay. The food is good in the hostel. Rooms are ordinary. 24/7 warden is available for any emergency, help, or complaint. The hostel does not have a library, but we can go to the college library. A canteen is there. There is no canteen in the hostel. It closes in the night. The hostel has ending machines.

Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly except for some. They help students and clear our doubts if we ask them. Teachers are qualified and PhD holders. According to me, The AKTU curriculum is not good. It teaches us the boarding syllabus of the old year. They taught in earlier years. You have to learn technical skills on your own. We have to not depend on the college. Exams are hill. You can get good marks by just studying 1,2, and 3 days before. The passing criteria is 33% marks.

Placements: Placements are good. Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has a decent placement record, especially in CSE and IT branches. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Amazon. The average salary package offered ranges from 4-6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is more than 20 LPA. It is improving yearly.

Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure and decent space. Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology boasts excellent infrastructure, featuring modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, a vast library, and clean hostels. The campus is spacious and eco-friendly. It provides various sports and recreational facilities for students.

Faculty: Galgotias College offers a well-structured course curriculum, especially for B.Tech CSE, balancing theoretical and practical learning. However, more industry-oriented workshops and electives could enhance learning further.

GCET Computer Science and Design.

Placements: The college offers an average placement of 3-5 LPA; the highest placement in 2024 was 21 LPA. There is a well-established placement cell at this college, but the opportunities for internships are very limited. It highly depends on your well-maintained CGPA; if it is below 7.5, it's a very tough battle for you.

Infrastructure: There is a well-maintained central library which is also air-conditioned, the latest generation systems are present in labs; and there is a well-maintained digital library. Huge classrooms with A.C. are there in few blocks; Playground is also there with a tennis and basketball court; and on campus, a hostel for boys and girls is present.

Faculty: The supportive faculty focuses more on attendance than skill-building opportunities; the syllabus is also not up to date with the latest curriculum; there are midterm exams before every semester exam; and semester exams are quite tough as the checking process at AKTU is very strict and Orthodox.

Other: Events are held every now and then. An annual festival by the name of Unifest is held every year, which is very grand in scale.
