Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and facilities.

Placements: I have no idea of placements in this college. They have the worst criteria. Some fraud companies also visit the campus for placements. The salary packages offered are very low. We can't even survive with these low salary packages. Job roles offered for MBA students were inappropriate. I am very much dissatisfied with placements.

The college provides placements only for CS and IT branches.

Placements: Placements are provided only for CS and IT students and not for core branch students. Few students (from core branches) who have knowledge of programming languages got placed. The college claims for 100% placements, but it is only for CS and IT branches.

A decent college among others in the same league with high quality infrastructure.

Placements: Placement numbers for IT/CS departments are increasing. Earlier the mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys and Tech Mahindra used to visit the campus for placements. There is not much scope for the core branches. Only 1-2 companies visited the campus for placements during our tenure. However, the placements in the college are still at par with other private institutions in its league.

Better education is provided to students. Facilities are good, but the placements are not good.

Placements: The salary package offered to placed students was between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Most of the students got placed in mass recruiter companies. Companies that mostly visit the college are TCS, Cognizant, Mahindra, etc. The students whose CGPA is around 7 are mostly get placed in the campus placements. The students who want the package around 3 LPA to 4 LPA can join here.

Average stuffs and not satisfied with placement ratio of my particular branch.

Placements: The placement rate is very low. There are only 4-5 students got placed in core companies and 3 students in IT sector with an average of 3.5 LPA from my branch I. e. Mechanical. While the others branch have somehow good placement ratio in IT sector. 30% of overall students got placed here with an avg package of 3.5 LPA. There are 3-4 students who have got good salary offer worth 8.5 LPA The companies visited here last year was Ashok Leyland, Multi solution, Infosys, Wipro, byju's.

Dissatisfied with placements after 2017 batch, good infrastructure and good faculty.

Placements: Galgotias is considered as one of the esteemed university in AKTU but talking about placement this year. It has been the worst. 2017 batch has quite a good placements records but when it comes to Electronics and Instrumentation branch, there is no placements for the students. Galgotia provides placement to only Computer Science &IT. There are no core companies for electronics and Instrumentation branch.

Average college but better than any other of college Noida.

Placements: No company come for civil engineering. Placement percentage is high in other branches but civil as core branch faces jolts in term of placement as well as some faculty members are not qualified as per guidelines of AKTU. Lots of politics is between faculty members for getting posts. Galgotias also does has not enough equipments for practicals and they never use to take students for any site visits. Only the Name of college and it's structural Aesthetic is good which influence students to take ad...

I do not suggest you to join this college.

Placements: The college provides only a few placement opportunities. The management and faculty don't care much about the placement. The salary packages offered are very low, and they are around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. Only a few companies visit the college for placements.

The infrastructure is okay. The teachers are good and helpful. There are more than 50% placements.

Placements: Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, IBM and many other companies visit the college for placements. Last year around 35% to 40% students were placed in these companies. The highest package offered was 6 lakhs per annum, and the minimum was 3 lakhs per annum. In the 3rd year college offered many internships for students. There is a placement cell in the college and bit useful for the preparation of placement for students.

From the mechanical point of view, the faculty members were average.

Placements: There were placements for CS and IT students. On an average, 60 to 70 percent of the students got placed. The average salary package was 3.4 lacs per annum. Mainly the students were placed in Cognizant, Wipro, and TCS. There was mostly IT based companies. For mechanical students, there were no on-campus companies. There was 1-2 pool campus, but the criteria were tough that from the whole college, only 4 to 5 students were eligible and no one was placed, so you can say that there are no placement...

Overall, it is a good college with a vast scope of development in infrastructure.

Placements: The placements have been moderate in this institute. There is scope for branches like CSE, IT, ECE and a little bit for ME and EI but other branches, and there is no such opportunity. You will get a minimum of 2.5 LPA which can go as high as 10 lacs per annum. But the average will go around 4 LPA. The companies like HP, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. Visit for campus placement. At the time of admission, the officials of the institute would tell you that there is a 100% placement for CS and IT br...

Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The campus placements were average with an average package of Rs. 3 to 4 Lakhs, and also there was one senior who got a package of Rs. 32 Lakhs off campus. Many companies are visiting the campus like Cognizant, and they also take in some students from the college.

Overall, this is a college with the freedom.

Placements: None of the company come for civil engineering in GCET. Rather it is the core branch, but a few industrial visits are provided. The faculty members are average, and some are excellent, but overall they can't give one exposure for the secured future. The students with more than 80% in AKTU are bounded to appear in the different competitions after the graduation.

It has really a good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements were good with around 70% of the students getting placed. Around Rs. 12 lakhs per annum was the highest and Rs. 2.5 was the minimum, while on an average Rs. 5 lakhs per annum was offered to the students. The Wipro, Accenture, etc., were among the few top companies which visited the college. Around 40% of the students got an internship. The average stipend was around Rs. 3.2 lakhs and the highest was Rs. 5 lakhs per annum.

B.Tech college review (GEI 2014).

Placements: I do not know the current state but placements were poor at that time. Only very few lower tier service-based IT companies visited the campus with a meager salary package. The situation was, therefore, worse for students who did not opt for CSE or IT because other companies related to their branch were limited to one or two with poor packages. So, they had no other option but to sit for IT companies. The top layer in a batch would get a package of 3-4 Lacs, others would have to settle for less t...

Not satisfied because of poor management. The faculty, placements, campus, labs nothing is good.

Placements: The placement of civil and mechanical are totally null. Only, CS and IT are getting placement. Sometimes EEE and EI are also placed for TCS, Wipro, HCL, etc. If you want a degree, they can apply here. Only, the mass production of engineers is going.

Average satisfaction because of faculty not being helpful in behaviour

Placements: Placements were good. We cannot say it was best given by the college. It could be improved. Some students got placed but many are still searching for jobs. No internships were arranged by the college during the academic session. The highest package was five lakhs per annum and the lowest was two lakhs per annum.

Good for Computer Science and Information Technology branches.

Placements: Most of the companies that visit our campus are IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, HCL etc., They provide entry-level software engineer roles. Average package is around Rs. 3 LPA. They recruited almost 60-70% of the students. Opportunities are good for computer science and information technology branches.

Satisfied just because of placement reasons.

Placements: In the NCR region, probably GCET has got the best placement cell. It is not that everyone will get placed but a majority of the qualified people will get selected. The companies which come to this college have increased in the previous year and even HP came for the pool placement last year. People with the percentage above 65% gets placed here. The average package offered is 4-5 lakhs per annum.

My experience was not bad as I learned how to face the audience and give presentation.

Placements: Placements were not good for MBA. Many companies visited but the profiles were not good and the packaged they provided were not the same as offered to the graduates. They even called BPOs. Mostly companies came up for marketing and sales profile. Internships were not offered to GCET students from the college. We did internships on their own. The highest package was 6 lakhs per annum.
