Not much satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement was plenty in my batch, but not all the companies are technical companies. I was placed in a share market company opposite to what I learnt in my college. And it was the same in some of the previous batches as well. Some were placed in good companies, but some were really bad and fake companies.

I am not satisfied with my college.

Placements: You can't get placements from core companies, but you can get placed in software companies only. The college gives campus in software company only even some are fake companies in this. In our batch, only 6-10 students are placed through off-campus. The highest was Rs. 15,000 per month and the average was Rs. 8,000 per month salary offers in all the time. There is a placement cell, but it is like a consultancy service on the outer side of the college. If you get a job through campus, you have to ...

Utterly money minded institution with a careless management.

Placements: There are very poor placements here. However, college claims that it has 90% placement, but it's a lie. Very few and non-popular companies visit this college and reject most of them afterwards, even when they are selected. In short, college is more interested in taking money from students than making them.

It is all totally an average college with no better placement.

Placements: The placements are worst, especially for civil engineering and electrical engineering department. Not a single student got a better Job of these departments. The placement is a little bit good for computer science department students as maximum companies were from IT sector.

The fact of GEC college that everyone knows, but don't want to tell.

Placements: Ridiculous placement ever I have seen in this college as I am a 2017 pass out, I didn't get any placements because of ridiculous behaviour. They didn't help students in the difficult time during the examination. They always told us to come next week and not now. They show such behaviour just because of their ego. Even their placement department charge a huge amount for this.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure and the facilities.

Placements: The placements for our batch is next year, but our senior batch has the average of 60% of the placements as per my knowledge. The highest salary offered to our college was 1.5 LPA. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys technologies, soft technologies, etc. have visited the campus, and the job positions offered were mostly for software development, software designing and some other coding jobs.

This college is not good for intelligent and poor students as there is no scope for good career.

Placements: The placements are not good. The training and placement department is not so conscious about the career of students. Good students are also forced to join non-technical companies. They always show fake placements. There are no placements for good students also because there is no scope for good future. The management is not supportive regarding placements. No good companies are visiting here since 2-3 years.

Review of Gandhi Engineering College and its placement.

Placements: The placements were absolutely brilliant. Almost every one of us got the placement in reputed MNCs. I must say that it is one of the finest colleges in Eastern India. The companies like TCS, IBM, Infosys came for software branches and Simplex, the Vadani group, came for core branches.

Dissatisfied with the placements. infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are a lot of companies came to this institution for the campus placement. Still, these companies were only better if you have no better options to carry your curriculum vitae to other good companies. No good companies have come yet to this college. In the last years, the recruitment was too less in comparison to the expectations.

The college is average and worthy.

Placements: I have selected in Infotech as a junior GIS engineer in 2013 through off campus. I was selected in Infotel on the college campus, but unfortunately, it was a fake company, but later I went to Hyderabad, and there I attended the interview and selected. I started my career as a telecom engineer

Amazing faculty, average placements, tough course. Only lab and library infrastructure is good.

Placements: Neither good nor bad, every year, the placements are average. The highest salary goes up to 4.2 lakhs, and lowest can be up to 10K-15K. Every year, the average placement shown is 90%. However, it does not go up to that. Mostly Hexaware Technology, Tech Mahindra and few other companies visit our college for the placements. In terms of the internship, the students rarely apply due to mandatory attendance. The basic role offered was for ASE.

Placements: Placement for our batch was below average. Around 70% students got placed, but 50% of the companies are fake, means they only come for the recruitment process and after that, they don't provide a joining letter. The highest salary was around 4.5 lakhs. The lowest was 96k per annum and the average salary was between 1.4 - 1.6 lakh per annum. Absolutely not a good college for students who want good studies.

Placements: Apart from TCS and Tech Mahindra, no other reputed companies visit the college. The placement training in this college is purely TCS-oriented. The salary offered by these companies is the highest in the college (3-3.5 LPA). Hardly 150 students out of 1000 make it to these companies. Rest of the students are offered jobs in BPO and call centers with around 1.5 LPA salary. Irrespective of their branch, the students are sent as 'associate engineer' in the two companies. Placements: The college shows 95% placement on its website or brochure but the real placement is around 50-60%. Many IT companies like TCS (off-campus), Infinite, Emphasis visit the campus for placements. This year, they hired approx. 267 eligible candidates but if you want placements in core companies, there are very low chances that you will get placed because very few core companies visit the campus. Placements: Placement of GEC is not that good for core branches (worst). And good for CS branches. What I know is that around 25% students got placed by the college. And 20% of students who got placed by the college left the companies because of the very low pay grade. Highest salary offered was 25,000 INR.
