Dissatisfied because of the management and placements in 2016.

Placements: It is sad but our college was the worst in terms of placement. Most of the companies were of a non-technical background. 70% of companies they call are fake. They don't call a single reputed company to the college. You will see the worst placement officer. Above all, they charge a placement fee for each and every student for these fake companies. Simply, you can't rely on their placement. The placement officer needs to be changed immediately. He is just playing with the lives of students. He i...

Completely disapointed because of the fraud nature of placement cell of my college.

Placements: The placement of GEC is devastating as the number of students placed in 2016 batch is more than 80% but all the companies are fake. The placement director is just fooling the students by conducting fake campus interviews. The highest salary package offered was 3.8 lakhs which was fake also and the lowest salary offered is 5000 per month for a B.Tech graduate student. They are taking a bribe from students to offer a job. Almost 90% companies are fake like SJ Solution, Jagrati Constructions, Kanba...

Good college but students should be provided more freedom.

Placements: There was no such internship opportunity provided by our college. Students have to search internships on their own through online portals. Executive placements for our batch were almost 90% and the highest salary was about 3.04 LPA, lowest salary was about 1.2 LPA and the average was approx. 3 LPA. The above figures are not verified by the college and it may differ with actual records.

Take admission at your own risk.

Placements: Fake companies comes to recruit students so that to improve the percentage of placement records for future admission. Weak pre-placement training are given to the students. No relevant details are provided about the visiting companies. They are not satisfied by the course fees paid by the students and still they demand rupees 10000 extra during placement time. They still ask for money after getting a job. The college is unable to provide placement but they assure the students and parents to give...

Good studies but in vain as the placements are really poor.

Placements: The placements in the college are really poor. But in our senior batch, it was quite good compared to our batch. The college asked the same company to visit thrice in the same year and it still selected only 35 candidates. 75% of us never got a placement from the college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements and college management.

Placements: Placements of this college are 10-20%. Average salary offered is somewhat 10-12K per month. Companies that you would have never heard off visited our campus & when the students call the company HR for details of the campus selection, they told no such campus has been planned to be conducted. No roles were offered to students by our college & also, there is no scope of development of any student. College does not provide any internship tot the students. This college has a good infrastructure. There are library, canteen, hostels, bank ATM, and a student center inside the campus. Campus placement is not as good as compared to other government colleges, but pupil are placed in some good companies like Hexaware, Jindal etc.

This is not a good college. If you are taking admission in this college then you are making the biggest mistake of your life. The faculty is totally inexperienced. The management always tortures the students. Many hidden charges are drawn in the name of trust. The faculty is not at all cooperative. I strongly recommend you not to join this college.

It was a nice experience to have studied B.Tech with this college. You should take up this college, only if you love studying. The college does not compromise with education at any cost. The hostel facilities are also good. The college has a good Wi-Fi service. If you put your efforts and study dedicatedly, then you will get a placement from the campus.

The good parts of the college are the hostel facilities and the faculty members. Currently the infrastructure is also good. But it’s a bit far from the city. Library facility is also upright. Other than this there is one canteen too. There is also plenty of open space to play. The bad part is the labs are not well equipped.

Good college but not worth to study as faculty seems not interested in teaching and students not interested in learning. As far as infrastructure is concerned it’s very nice but when you step inside it gives perfect feeling of a government college with excellent space but poor education. So I would not recommend this college to any student as it doesn’t make careers it just make it more difficult to make one.

It has some good infrastructure. But bit disappointed with the faculty and the management. Canteen food is good. Well connected roads to reach National highway. Calm and quiet environment with friendly people around the campus. It is best for computer science engineering and electrical and electronics engineering. All other branches are just up to standard but not that fruitful.

GEC Bhavnagar is the best college of engineering mostly for electronics and mtech department. Faculty members are also good. Infrastructure and facility is awesome. In this college so many other activities like project seminar and experts lectures is managed by students not by management but yes if you do something then management definitely support you.

It was not so good infrastructure wise, at that time. But I know they have improved it a lot. Good academic environment with dedicated lecturers. If you want to study and only study, then this good for you. But if you’re thinking of extracurricular activities, which is very important, then it is not so good.

Placement wise it is a decent college, infrastructure is good, facility is average. My Experience: I had a great stay in the college with all my friends and got placed in a good MNC at the end. When I was studying we had very good teachers and head of departments. Hostel life was also great besides the fights with the localities. I...
