B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2021
3.2
2Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Our college has good infrastructure, and it conducts robotics classes.
Placements: In our batch, only 5% to 10% of students were placed. Companies that visited our campus for recruitment were not that good. No one got an internship from our course. It did not matter a lot because no one applied for placements.
Infrastructure: The computer labs were in good condition. Wi-Fi was available throughout the campus. The library was in very good condition, with all types of books. Playgrounds for volleyball, badminton, and badminton were in good condition. Medical facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were good and qualified as per the requirement. They were supportive and helpful. The course curriculum was relevant. Robotics classes were conducted. It made students ready for the industry. Semester exams were easy to pass. Almost 60% to 70% of students passed.
Other: This course is interesting because I like to be in this field. Events like inter-college sports championships were conducted. The annual day is celebrated every year.

Review of Gandhi Institute of Advanced Computer and Research.
Placements: Almost 25% of the students got placed in college. Around 30 to 40% of students got placed in companies like MRF, j.K Paper Mill, and Infosys. Roles offered are as junior engineers and advisers. A good placements are offered in Pune, Maharashtra, New Delhi, and Odisha. Vedant Pvt Ltd, HAL Ltd, etc., were the top recruiters of our course. It is a good college to study.
Infrastructure: Our college has good labs to work, and we also have presentations in the classrooms. Libray is very huge and has a lot of books. The campus is also huge, and we have gardens and lawns. There are many other things on campus. Free Wi-Fi facilities are provided in our college. The office building is also nearby.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly with everyone. They are very supportive and provide good knowledge through which you will achieve your goals in life.
Other: I opted for this course because I like machines. Our college organises fests, freshers' party's, farewells, and more events.

I am dissatisfied with the college because it is not providing any placement opportunities.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any campus placements. Students got reduced because of fewer faculty. None of the companies visited our campus for placement in recent years. Students are doing other courses and taking other coaching for job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college is well -facilitated Wi-Fi and computer labs. Mechanical labs and electrical labs are well-equipped. Classrooms and department blocks are well-designed and maintained. The hostel is also well-maintained with hygienic food and proper furniture. During the annual fest, sports, games and activities are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers in our were highly qualified, but they are less in numbers now. M.Tech graduates, B.Tech graduates and economic background teachers are available here. The course curriculum is relevant, but it would be better if they add more programming.
Other: I have chosen this course as I'm very much interested in programming and coding. My course differs me from others as it provides a great opportunity to be a part of growing technology. I wish the course should give more preference to codding and programming languages. Every year tech fest is organised in our college.

Join this college only for a degree.
Placements: No placement is provided at all, not even a single company come to the college. Before 2012, companies used to come to the college. But nowadays, no company is coming here. Our senior batch has got good placement. They only promise about the placements, but they don't provide. Diploma and +2 courses are also provided on the same campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. The classrooms are good. There is an A/C library with sufficient books. Food quality is good. The separate buildings are available for all the branches. The mechanical workshop is good. There is an on-campus hostel provided with average food. The college provides average transportation. We have no study tour, no fun.
Faculty: The faculty members are average qualified and knowledgeable. However, the teaching quality is good. Sometimes, they use a projector and smart teaching method. You will pass the exam easily. The teachers are helpful. You must pass out B.Tech with a good CGPA. They give lab marks. The English lab is excellent.
Other: The fest happens in the college, but it is very small. The campus doesn't have good crowd. The scholarship is provided by the government, not college. Cricket and volleyball are the extracurricular activities.

GIACR college is best to complete your B.Tech. However, placements should not be expected.
Placements: We had a placement section for namesake. They gave us the required training for placements and getting jobs. However, we did not get a chance to get into any companies as placements were all fake and were the same for the past two years and remained the same for our juniors too.
Infrastructure: Our college had the required infrastructure for a good B.Tech college. Excellent computers lab and communication lab is also there. We had Wi-Fi enabled campus. The mechanical workshop too was well-equipped. The campus had a hostel within our premises. We have a cafeteria which provides food that worth our money.
Faculty: Our college has some very experienced and skilful faculty members. Particularly, our faculty members for computer science branch and information technology are the best. We had faculty members with more than 10 years of experience and had faculty members passed out from IIT too. The faculty members of mechanical and civil were also very dedicated.
Other: Nothing much with the scholarship. Our tech fests are the best. I've been to a lot of tech fests in other colleges. Our college is one of best, however, our college lags behind extracurricular activities.

Dissatisfied with the college placements, and average regarding study, faculty, and other amenities.
Placements: During my time, the placements were not good. Even a lot of fake companies visited the campus. However, a few BPO companies visited, which are good. The average package offered was 1.8 lacs per annum. You have to try on your own and try to get the offer from the off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is awesome. The college is spread over a big sprawling area. The food quality is good as compared to the other colleges in that area. The college has two big hostels for boys and two hostels for girls as well. There are the separate buildings for the CSE, ECE, and mechanical departments.
Faculty: During my time, some of the faculty members were good, especially in the ECE department. All the departments had been loaded with the faculty members. For the preparation of the semester exam, anyhow you have to prepare on your own. There is no industrial exposure by the college. The campus surrounding is good, which is surrounded by the hills and jungles.
