Q:   Is B.Arch at Ganga Institute of Architecture and Town Planning a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.Arch students & alumni}

Here's what current students and alumni have to say:

    * Infrastructure: The hostel is new and well-facilitated, with Wi-Fi and average food quality. The college building is sufficient, with all necessary facilities, including a computer lab, library, and studios. (Average)
    * Teaching Quality: Teachers are well-qualified, friendly, and willing to help students at any time. Their teaching quality is excellent, making the course curriculum relevant and helping students become industry-ready. (Good)
    * Placement: There are no direct placements, but students can expect a decent starting salary package of around INR5 LPA after completing their internship. (Decent)
    * Internship: Internships are mandatory in the final year, and students usually find jobs or get placed through these opportunities. Some may choose to explore other options as well. (Fair)

In summary, while B.Arch at Ganga Institute of Architecture and Town Planning has its strengths in terms of teaching quality and infrastructure, the lack of direct placements might be a concern for some students. However, the opportunity to earn a decent starting salary package and gain industry exposure through internships could make up for it. Ultimately, it depends on individual preferences and priorities.

    I'm satisfied with the college.
Placements: There are no direct placements in our college. Students have to do a 1-year internship in their final year and, most likely, there are chances that the internship firm will offer them a job, or they can apply to another firm too. The starting salary package is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel in our college is good. Our hostel is newly constructed with all the facilities and is a neat and clean hostel with Wi-Fi and average food quality. The college building is not too big but sufficient to occupy the students and all other areas are provided in the college with a computer lab and library, a model room, classrooms, a working studio, and all other areas.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. Most of the teachers are post-graduated in their field with well-equipped knowledge and very friendly nature. They are ready to help you at any time, even during college times. There is 10 semesters total, with a final exam at the end of each semester.

Our college is one of the best architecture colleges with a good fee structure.
Placements: Placements in our college are not like direct college placements. Students have to do a 1-year internship in their 5th year, and they are more likely to get placement in their internship office or other offices. Placement packages are quite decent, starting on an average of 4 LPA and can gradually increase according to the work of a person.
Infrastructure: We have all facilities are provided in our college. Classes and the studio are non-air-conditioned. The library is there with all the books regarding the course. Our classroom size is around 40 students with 2 teachers. The college campus has full Wi-Fi access. Hostels are available for the needy with average food quality.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are well experienced, having practical field knowledge with excellent teaching quality. The university curriculum is somewhat outdated, but it is still manageable, and one can develop skills in practical applications. A year is divided into 2 semesters, which means that, in total, there are 10 semesters, and there are final exams at the end of each semester.

Somewhat satisfied because of the fee structure.
Placements: There is no placement offered by our college in this course. But Other courses do provide placements, Architecture course is of 5 years and in the last year is the internship year. In internship period, we have to search for the firms or companies, college doesn't provide anything.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our campus is not too good or not too bad. It's satisfactory. Many facilities are provided by the college to their students in the campus, Wi-Fi is available in hostel but only for the hostelers. Every branch has its separate library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help without any judgment. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, they will teach you in such a manner that will be helpful in your future journey.

It is a good college to take admission.
Placements: They provide placements but at the lowest level. We have to work under the architect to gain some experience. After that, we can open our firm or work as a senior architect in any other architecture firm or company. Overall, there are few placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but it is somewhat average. The hostel is in construction mode. Half of that is completed, and students are living in that. Hostels are always the best part of a college student's life. It should be good so that they can live easily.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best because they talk to you without any ego and explain every topic with ease of their knowledge. The curriculum has definitely been defined at every starting semester of the course. Semester examinations are conducted after the completion of every chapter.

It is one of the best colleges for architecture students.
Placements: Almost 20% of the students were placed in our course because this is a very interesting course. The salary package offered ranges between 1 LPA - 2 LPA. Almost 100% of the students get internships from our course. Architecture or interior designers or planning architects are the roles offered. There are many options offered in our course.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available in our college and the infrastructure is so interesting and beautiful. We have cafeteria, canteen, good and clean toilets, and most importantly pure drinking water.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. They all are holding master's degrees and are very good at teaching. The course curriculum is relevant to the work field, and it makes students industry-ready. So this is good for the students.

    Real nice college homelike.
Placements: No specifics stats about placements but the degree is valuable on its own. As the university is a government university so the degree is more valuable than amity. The placement cell focuses on personality development with which you can go anywhere and get a nice job.
Infrastructure: There is a library with ample number of books, there is no Wi-Fi in the college but it is available in hostel, there is a lab. Classrooms are quiet big, boy's hostel is newly made and girls' hostel is under construction, mess food is bad, sports and games are followed.
Faculty: The teachers are rightfully qualified and are helpful. The course is absolutely relevant. It improves one's personality and makes them industry ready. They are even more friendly so don't think of them as teachers. Think of them as friends then they can help you more.
