Ganga Institute of Education B.Ed Admission 2023
The Institute offers a full-time B.Ed programme with a course duration of two years. During the first year, for better understanding, students are offered a chance to visit innovative centres of pedagogy and learning such as - innovative schools, educational resource centres, etc. The programme is devoted to field engagement through different tasks and projects with the community. As a part of the course curriculum, students need to pursue an internship in one school within the District of concerned College of Education for the duration of 15 weeks. The evaluation of students under B.Ed programme is based on theory examinations and internal assessment. The final selection of students is based on the graduation scores. Ganga Institute of Education MEd Admission 2023
Master of Education (MEd) is a full-time two-year programme offered by the Institute. The programme is divided into open and foundation elective courses. Details for the same are as follows:
- Open Elective Courses: Students are required to study one open elective course in each of the second and third semesters for two-year programmes and in each of the fourth and fifth semesters for three-year programmes. The open elective will cover courses, such as Bioinformatics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry, Family Law, Economics, etc.
- Foundation Elective Courses: Students are required to study one foundation elective course in the second semester for two-year programmes and in fourth semester for three-year programmes. The foundation elective cover courses like Accounting, E-Commerce, Banking, Computer Fundamentals, Moral Education, Media Law and more.
Admission to MEd programme is merit-based, and candidates are selected based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. The eligibility criteria for this course is given in the table below:

Candidates need to register and fill an application form to apply for B.Ed or MEd programmes. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete Ganga Institute of Education application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Institute, www.gangainstituteofeducation.com.
Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” to register.
Step 3: Register by entering details like name, email address, mobile number, course & city and verify the account through the emailed link.
Step 4: Fill the application form by entering personal and qualification details.
Step 5: Upload a passport-size photograph, scanned signature, copy of a birth, Class 10 and Class 12 certificate.
Step 6: Pay an application fee of Rs 590 online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.
