Not fully satisfied as there were almost no placements but infrastructure and facilities are fine

Placements: Placements for my batch and for my senior batch also were not good. Only very small companies, especially from Chandigarh, used to come at that time. Only 10-20 % students have been placed and after getting placed, they were not happy because of the job profile they got. I do not remember the highest salary but the average was 2.5 LPA that time. Some startups visited from Chandigarh while some came from NCR. Usually, IT companies came for selections and some companies like Sonalika came for mech...

GSZ is good for engineering students.

Placements: The placements of the college are not up to the mark. Our college provided the highest package of 5-6 lacs and the lowest package of 2-3 lac. Only some of the students were placed this year. Many students pass out from the college with a job in hand.

Satisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities in the college are very much likely as many of the students were placed every year. L&T, Practo, HCL, HDFC, etc came for placements. They offered a minimum of 2,50,000 and a maximum of 8,00,000. In internships, the minimum stipend offered is Rs 5000.

Giani Zail Singh College is a good college.

Placements: The placements of the college are not up to the mark. Some of the students were placed in this year in front of me. Our college provided the highest package of 5-6 lac and the lowest package of 2-3 lac. Only some of the students were placed this year. During placements, different types of companies come every year for the different courses offered.

One of the best government colleges but not placement-wise.

Placements: On-campus and off-campus placements were offered. A few companies like Walmart and Nestle amongst other local companies visited the campus. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Trident to textile engineering students while the lowest was 1.2 lakhs per annum. 30-40% students were placed from our batch. No companies related to construction or civil engineering visited the campus.

This college is good in academics, especially considering streams like architecture and mechanical engineering. The labs here are very well-equipped, and the hostels are the usual source of fun and enjoyment. It is affordable in terms of routine expenses, and the crowd here is getting better batch by batch. But, the fests here are not much nice.

Not satisfied with college.

Placements: Placements percentage is not good at all because of less company visit in other words placement is difficult because of less opportunity average placement is about 2 lac to 3 lacs the company is not fixed it changes every year but many companies don't look for students from here. Here teaching is as bad as students are not able to qualify at least 15000 per year job.

Infrastructure is above average faculty members and placements are not satisfied.

Placements: Placement depends upon students because placement opportunity is less so students have to work hard and only few student got placement in the campus it happens due to less company visit. And the average salary of selected students is approximately 20,000 to 25k.

I am partially satisfied with everything.

Placements: Since I am pursuing B.Arch from this college, our college doesn't offer any placements. However, for other courses, the placement session was held, and a generous number of students got campus placements and got average salaries.

Our college is good for those students who are above average.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. This college is under MRSPTU, and it is approved by AICTE. The minimum salary package offered is 1.50 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 9 LPA. Companies like Tecno, Wipro, Microsoft, Google, etc., have not visited our college for placements.
