The placement percentage rate was 90% and the college tried their best to increase the placement percentage. The highest package was 34 LPA and the average package was around 8–10 LPA.

My own experience at GITAM.

Placements: Till now, we did not got any placements. Probably, in the final year at UG or at PG, you'll get placement offers. It has come to our ears that in the final year, we do have an internship program conducted by our college.

Review of GITAM Hyderabad Business School.

Placements: In 2021, we got quite good placements, but students who wish to work on particular majors in bachelor's wouldn't get placed most of the time. All the placements provided are sales and marketing. The packages vary from 1.8-5 LPA.

Very much dissatisfied with the hostel services.

Placements: MBA candidates get placed well. BBA has very less opportunities compared to MBA. MBA placements are too good. Many students get placed in many companies like Deloitte, Colgate etc. The average package offered is 20,000 to 25,000 per month. Around 250 to 300 members got placed.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: A very few of the students got placement offers. There are only 2 or 3 companies that offered placements in BBA. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.3 LPA. Godrej and Byju's were the top recruiters of our college. Only 10% of the students got placed off-campus. Marketing roles and sales roles are offered.

It is a good campus but needs to look after in a better way.

Placements: Our college offers 100% placements. Many huge companies visit the campus for recruitment. But there were few profiles which we didn't want to get in, and we chose to step back. They were decent companies, but the roles offered were not up to the mark sometimes.

The college will provide you a good way for getting a good career.

Placements: Compared to our senior batches, very few companies have visited the campus for the placements of our batch. Among them, some are not good companies. Roles offered were executive, deputy manager, risk analyst, etc. Many companies are available to offer internships, and it's students' choice to select the company. Some companies hire students through interviews.

Placements: Placements were coming fine from a few companies. Some of the companies that included undergraduates include JARO, VALENTA BPO, HONDA (franchise) to name a few. The average package was around 2-2.5 Lacs per annum. There is a placement cell in the institution that takes of all placement related aspects, and works well to bring more companies for placements. However the salary package being too low does't motivate more people to look for employment, given the high standards of management accountin...

Awesome coursework and curriculum.

Placements: The placements are low. The placement percentage is on the lower side, maybe, due to the slump in the job market. Even during my course, the internships which were bundled with a pre-placement offer were not giving job offers due to silly reasons. The companies in the global logistics and supply chain management specialisation were few, but whichever companies came to the companies gave a good offer. The international companies and jobs are not offered, with or without work experience.

The college for posh people to enjoy life.

Placements: The placements are good, but 90% of the placements are of marketing specialisation, and the companies which are coming are not much reputed. The packages offered are not worth the fee which we are paying the college. They will show 100% placements but out of them, only 20% of the companies are known, and the remaining are unknown. As per my view, it's not worth for paying that much money for getting low packages.

GITAM is the place where you will learn many things.

Placements: Placements are ok for MBA but if you are doing your UG course like BBM, BBA or B.Com, then there are very less companies coming for placements. The average package for MBA is 6 L/A and the minimum package for the UG courses are 3 L/A. There is a well-experienced placement department available in the college which helps you in getting the placement in different companies. But there was no one who got placed from my batch because most of the people had their own business or they were going for th...
