What is GET?

Gitam School of International Business conducts GSIB Entrance Test or GET, a common entrance test, for admissions to its flagship management programmes. GET is held for admissions to the following management courses:

Gitam School of International Business also accepts scores of CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT for admission. Candidates who have appeared in any of these exams will not be required to appear for GET 2020.

GSIB admission process includes a personal interview round which will be conducted after GET 2020. Final selection is made on the basis of the candidate’s best score in competitive exams and PI performance.

GSIB will send call letters to candidates selected for admission by courier/post, e-mail, SMS for reservation of seat by paying a commitment fee. The candidates are required to reserve their seats by paying the commitment fee of Rs 50,000. This fee is adjusted towards the first installment of the admission fee. The admission process will be completed on the registration date, wherein all the relevant certificates, in original, of the selected candidates are verified, and they will be declared to be finally admitted.

GET 2020: Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any subject or equivalent from a recognised university

  • Those awaiting final year examination result are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit proof of Graduation latest by September 10, 2020, until then their admission will be ‘provisional’

  • Mathematics/Statistics/Commerce/ComputerApplication/Economics/Business Administration/Engineering/Technology in Bachelors or Masters degree is compulsory for admission into PGDBA

GET 2020: Admission Process

Admission to Gitam School of International Business is on the basis of GET/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT scores. Admission process includes GET 2020 entrance test (if applicable) and personal interview which is conducted at various centers across India.

Interested candidates can apply through an online application form available on the official website. 

STEP 1: Application form

Interested candidates could apply for the exam by registering on the official website of Gitam School of International Business as new user.

STEP 2: Admit card

GET 2020 admit card will be released a few days before the exam. Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall.

STEP 3: GET 2020 Exam

GET is conducted across 14 cities throughout the country. The exam is held for two hours and the candidates have to answer MCQs from Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude and International Business (IB) / Business-General Knowledge. 

STEP 4: GET result 2020

GET result 2020 will be announced online as the scheduled dates. Candidates based on their performance in the entrance test and personal interview are offered provisional admission letter.
