    Gitam university review .
    Placements: The percentage of students who were placed is 60 to 80% in my course. The highest package and the lowest package are in 4 LPA and 3 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies are TCS, RazorPay, Accenture, etc. The top roles offered after completion of the course are software developer, backend and frontend developer and many more.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the hostels is very good. They provide the Wi-Fi in the classroom and also in the hostels. There is one central library in the library, and there are a minimum of 7,000 books available. In the cooler there are too many canteens. All the canteens are pocket-friendly.
    Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching style is good. This course curriculum is relevant; it is based on the real-world problem, and the teachers teach the real-world problem. There is no difficulty in the semester exam; if you are good at studying, you can clear the exam easily.

    Satisfied with the placements.
    Placements: The placements in our college are well conducted. If we want to appear in placements, we should have at least a 7.5 GPA. The highest package in the recent year is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top companies are Genpact and Accenture. Roles offered are data analyst and software developer.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The facilities they provide include a well-equipped lab, classrooms with projectors, and Wi-Fi. The faculty have high qualifications. The college premises are vast with gardens and nature. The hostel is good, and the food is prepared by well-trained chefs.
    Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, but some of them don't have enough teaching skills. The exam pattern they follow is a 70-30 pattern. They allocate 70 marks for internals, i.e., for minds, quizzes, and assignments. The remaining 30 marks are for semester-end exams. The difficulty level of semester-end exams is medium; those who prepare well for internals can easily attempt semester-end exams as well.
    Other: I have friends in my previous passing batch who are very satisfied with the placements. Learning through everyday experiences is better for improving the outcome of the course. The extracurricular activities are very well conducted in this college. Fests and events are conducted regularly.

    Review of Gitam deemed University Bachelor of computer applications.
    Placements: On our campus, the companies that came till now are Accenture and SAP Labs. SAP Labs hires for an intern role, and Accenture is hiring for an associate software engineer. In SAP, a total 2 students got placed for the intern role out of 120 students. But companies have not yet visited. They will come in November.
    Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi all over the campus, and there is a separate building for each department. There is also a library. And hostel facilities are also provided. Classrooms contain the projectors, and also Wi-Fi is provided. Some department classrooms are also air conditioned.
    Faculty: Some faculty are very good and have good knowledge, but some of them don't have knowledge and just teach using PowerPoints and don't explain anything. For us, there will be one midterm for each semester, two lab exams, and the final semester exam. Semester exam and mid exam are for 30 marks only. Internals are for 70 marks.

    Nurturing excellence in a thriving environment.
    Placements: The University has a dedicated career guidance center that provides training and support to the students for placements. The CGC offers services like resume preparation, mock interviews, and skills development workshops. Companies from various sectors visit the campus for placements offering diverse job opportunities for the students. The highest package of our course was 4.5 LPA and the average package was 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are ADP, TCS, Wipro, EY, Accenture, etc.
    Infrastructure: This university, boasts a well developed infrastructure for both academic and student life. The course infrastructure includes AC classrooms equipped with smart boards and Wi-Fi for a tech-enabled learning experience. There is a library known as KRC (Knowledge Resource Centre) with a massive collection of books and digital resources. The campus also features an auditorium, a sports complex, a hospital, convenience stores and a gym. Hostel Facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls with the choice of AC and non AC rooms. Basic amenities include beds, mattresses, study table, chair and ample storage space. Availability of qualified doctors and residents is provided for the students. The wardens address student's health concerns.
    Faculty: GITAM has a strong faculty team with a good mix of experience and qualification, including a high percentage of doctorate holders. The University aims to offer a flexible curriculum with a mix of core, course, electives and project based learning opportunities. It includes technical skills, soft skills, and communication skills.
    Other: This University has clubs for the students, like kalakriti club, GUSAC, sanskriti, and Saga which organize various cultural programs like DJ nights, fest, flashmob and so on. The faculty also supports the students with the student clubs. It is one of the best Universities in Andhra Pradesh.

    Reviewing GITAM University, Visakhapatnam.
    Placements: Placements have been good in the previous years, but nowadays, due to recession, the companies are taking only a few students and are also revoking offers. But anyway, the placements are good and the highest package offered is 29 LPA with an average package of 6 LPA. 90 percent of the students are placed.
    Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. There is separate block for the library and there are many auditoriums and classrooms which are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is also provided for the students. Hostel rooms are good and the food is average but the price is high. There are several canteens in the college.
    Faculty: Faculty is good and they are all M.Tech qualified, but some of the teachers don't have enough knowledge and they just read out PPTs and textbooks. This is rare, but most of the staff is good and interactive. Semester exams are average and passing marks is 35 out of 100. 30 marks are for internals while 70 marks are allowed to semester exams.

    In my perspective this university gives the platform to learn everything we need not only academics.
    Placements: 80 percent of the students will get placements in the campus only. The placements were given on the basis of knowledge and skills of the students. The lowest package is INR 3 Lacs per annum and the highest is INR 10 Lacs per annum. Google, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. are the top recruiting companies. 70 percent of students get internships. Software engineer, developer etc. are the roles offered.
    Infrastructure: The classrooms were well furnished and the labs were well designed for the students. We can get WIFI all over the campus. Library contains books which we need with the syllabus and reference books are also available inside the library and the library has magazines too.
    Faculty: The teachers were very friendly with the students. The faculty is available outside the campus too. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and the students can gain knowledge through this course. We can score well in the semester exams if we understand the concept well and the minimum pass percentage is 40.
    Other: I chose this course because I have special interest in computers. And the IT industry is also developing rapidly in today's world. So I thought this course will help me. In my point of view I don't think anything should be improved because the facilities we need are already given by the department. There are lots of fest that happen in the university and there are so many clubs available in the university too.
